The environment is great, and the facilities are comprehensive. It seems to be an apartment hotel with a history and a good reputation. It's a one-bedroom, one-living room unit with a bathtub. You have to stand in the tub to shower, which I'm not used to – it's a bit narrow and inconvenient. I'm more accustomed to a dedicated shower box. The bedroom and living room are separated by sliding doors. There's no space for nightstands on either side of the large bed, which I also found inconvenient (although you can put things on the headboard). My feet kept hitting the sliding door when getting out of bed, which was annoying. What I did like was the high floor, the view, and the microwave and tableware provided.

The rooms are larger than other hotels, clean and comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer great nighttime views. Conveniently located near the subway station, it's excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from all the major attractions. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, perfect for families traveling with children. It's also very car-friendly with free parking available. The MIXC shopping mall next door is a big convenience. Breakfast was decent, nothing special but enough to fill you up. The room had a bathtub and strong water pressure. The staff were warm and attentive, making for a great overall experience. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Very good apartment in one of the skyscrapers in the Suzhou Industrial Park district. Despite our request to live on the higher floor with a lake view, we lived in the apartment on the 27th (from 47) floor with the city view. Probably, they just don't have lake-view apartments. However, there is another skyscraper in front of our building. Though, the room was perfect! Very clean, with home shoes, slippers, bath and face towels, teeth kits, kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle). However, there was no cookware or dishware. We also needed an iron (as was promised in the room description), but the administrator brought us a steamer (which is even better) a few hours after the request. There are many convenient stores around, where you can buy even cooked food. In general, we recommend this place to everyone! Несмотря на нашу просьбу заселить нас максимально высоко с видом на озеро, нам досталась комната на 27 (из 47) этаже с видом на город. Возможно, у них просто нет комнат повыше с видом на озеро. Однако, прямо перед этим небосрёбом находится другой со стороны как раз озера. И всё равно, сама комната оказалась просто превосходной! Очень чистая, с домашними тапочками, душевыми сланцами, банными и лицевыми полотенцами, зубным набором, кухней (холодильник, микроволновка, чайник). Однако, не было ни посуды для приготовления, ни столовой посуды. Когда нам понадобился утюг (а он был обещан в описании номера), мы попросили администратора, и тот принёс отпариватель (что даже удобнее) через несколько часов. Вокруг здания много небольших магазинчиков, в том числе с готовой едой. В общем и целом, мы рекомендуем это место для всех путешественников!

The 360-degree panoramic lake view is absolutely stunning, with Dong Tai Lake right downstairs – a true frontline lake view room. You can catch a gorgeous sunrise in the morning and a romantic sunset in the evening. The scenery is both therapeutic and picture-perfect. Although the hotel decor is a few years old, there are absolutely no unpleasant odors, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. It's about 2km from the subway station, so getting around is convenient. The price is very affordable, offering excellent value for money. It's definitely my top choice for a relaxing getaway!

This stay exceeded my expectations, and I really have to praise the hotel. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, checked me in quickly, and even proactively informed me about the elevators, breakfast, and local transportation routes – the attention to detail was excellent. The room was spotless, with no stains on the floor or in the bathroom, and the bedding was soft and fluffy, making it easy to relax almost instantly. The room had good natural light and ventilation, and the soundproofing was effective, making it exceptionally quiet at night with no hallway noise audible. The toiletries were of good quality, the hot water was stable and plentiful, and the air conditioning adjusted sensitively. The self-service breakfast offered a rich variety, including meat, vegetables, pastries, fruits, and drinks, all with a mild and pleasant taste. The public areas were clean and elegant, and elevator wait times were short. The location is convenient for getting around, whether by taxi or for shopping. Overall, the value for money is excellent, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the environment is comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and highly recommend it to friends traveling here.

I visit the Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Suzhou, managed by Ascott, almost every year for a short stay. This year, I brought friends along again! We booked two two-bedroom suites, and it was still the familiar ambiance, excellent service, and even some familiar staff members. The hotel is located by Suzhou's Dushu Lake, offering beautiful surrounding scenery, comprehensive facilities, and attentive service. There's an underground parking garage, so even with the high temperatures outside, the cars in the garage remain unaffected.

The front desk staff, Jersey, Nancy, and Bella, were all very enthusiastic and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel's downtown location is incredibly convenient for transportation, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The room was spacious and tidy with new facilities. Parking was convenient, and the underground parking lot was very roomy. The service was incredibly warm and attentive, and the breakfast was varied and tasty. It truly lived up to its 'pet-friendly' name; we brought our dog, and the surrounding environment was lovely and green, making dog walking very easy.

The front desk sent us to the room very enthusiastically and the service was very good. but 1. There is no hot water in the room. You have to turn on the switch to boil the water yourself. The front desk said that it will be ready in a while. We did it for more than an hour, and it was already after 10pm when we arrived at the apartment. It was already after 11pm when we finished packing. I was very tired and had to wait for the hot water to boil before I could wash up. I would like to ask which accommodation like yours does not have ready hot water? 2. I booked a primeval forest themed room, but the rooms the front desk gave us were pictures 1 and 2. Are they no longer available? Don’t sell without you. Because it was very late when I arrived at the apartment, I didn’t want to go through the trouble of walking back and forth to change. 3. Why is there only one bag of shower gel and shampoo? Human skin still has such a large area, is one bag enough? I'm afraid it's not only enough for foot washing, but also shampoo.
