We received a complimentary room upgrade to a larger room. The hotel's location is excellent. We accidentally left behind a gold bracelet and a valuable gemstone ring. A hotel staff member found them and handed them over to the front desk for safekeeping. I only realized they were missing a day later when I was at a hotel in Zhuhai. When I called the hotel's front desk, they confirmed the items were safe and sound. I suggested to the hotel management that they should promptly call guests to notify them of lost items. Today, I took a taxi back to the hotel in Zhongshan to retrieve them. Ally, the duty manager, accepted my suggestion with sincere and honest demeanor, agreeing that guests should be informed immediately. They even reimbursed my taxi fare for the round trip.

Even though the hotel is a bit older, it's very well-maintained. The location is excellent, right next to the metro station and Shenzhen Railway Station, making it super convenient to cross the border into Hong Kong. The breakfast selection is also quite extensive, and even though the swimming pool is outdoors, it's very clean. Definitely worth another stay.

Hotel is definitely nice, beautiful view, amazing staff (requested over 8 pillows for my family still provided them. However it’s important for them to also have improvements especially when the upgrade isn’t expensive. For example their hair dryers are really old school and slow to dry hair (also heavy to hold), changing it won’t cost much. Then also definitely add in a toilet bidet. Location wise is amazing if you are doing business and require going to the canton convention centre other then that don’t book the hotel, when there’s jam u gonna require about 1 hour to reach every tourist areas

We are from Canada and this is our second time staying here. We were here last year with our elderly father in law and we very much enjoyed our stay so we decided to stay here again on the Executive Suite level. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoy the daily breakfast and then the included tea time, dinner and laundry service package which is fabulous and all for an unbeatable price! They even replace a button on your shirt if needed when they do your laundry! The heated multi-functional toilet is nice. Communication is not an issue as some staff speak English or we use our translator app with no issues at all. Amazing service! We quite enjoy the Gladden Hotel.

The Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside is absolutely a hidden gem for anyone traveling to Chaozhou! Built along the Han River, it's right next to the ancient city's Paifang Street and the central scenic area of Guangji Bridge. From a distance, you're treated to breathtaking views where river and mountain scenery blend together perfectly. As a landmark high-rise in the city, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view of Chaozhou city. The rooms are fully equipped, with automatic curtains, comfortable bedding, and exquisite bathrooms, showing attention to quality in every detail. The hotel also features several unique restaurants. This time I specifically came from Shanghai to visit Chaozhou, and the service from front desk agent JIAJIA left a particularly deep impression on me! She has an exceptional service mindset, with a gentle and patient demeanor. Not only did she efficiently complete my check-in, but she also meticulously introduced me to must-visit attractions like Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple, along with detailed instructions on using the hotel facilities. As an out-of-town visitor, I immediately felt a warm sense of welcome. The entire stay was perfect—convenient transportation, comfortable environment, and thoughtful service—it completely exceeded my expectations. Next time I visit Chaozhou, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I've already recommended it to my friends and family planning a trip to Chaozhou. It's truly worth checking out!

I specifically came to Foshan to buy furniture and chose the Sofitel Foshan, which has a great reputation. Before checking in, I saw the hotel's introduction, and it definitely lived up to expectations once I was there. The hotel's decor, from the first-floor entrance to the rooms, is very stylish. This time, I stayed in a Luxury Postmodern room, which also had a lot of character. The overall facilities in the room were excellent, and the hygiene was very good. This morning, I saw Jingjing, the floor manager. Even though the hotel was very busy, she went above and beyond to graciously grant us a late check-out, allowing me to take a nap after finishing my furniture shopping. The service was truly exceptional!

The hotel offers excellent service, clean rooms, and convenient parking. Its location is also great. The breakfast spread is generous, and the laundry room's dryer is very powerful. We stay here every year and have recommended it to our friends, who have also been very satisfied.

The room was clean, spacious, and bright. The location is excellent, right above a subway station. Special shout-out to the front desk staff, especially the young man! His service attitude was great, very attentive and responsible! The hotel also offers free coffee, a 24-hour gym, and laundry service! They even return the washed and dried clothes to your room, which was done overnight! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. From the time of check-in they gave us 2 apples in a christmas bag as it is christmas eve. We had a non-smoking room, but when we get in the room, i can smell a hint of cigarette, called up the front desk. They immediately upgraded us to a new room with a view. Sally sent some fruits by robot which is very sweet. The room is very clean with huge bathroom and very clean. My only complain is the body wash, shampoo dispenser is very hard to press, hopefully they can improve it to sensor dispenser or the press type. Bottled water and soda everyday and can even ask for more bottled water, so we dont need to buy anymore. The location is very convenient, the YANNAN station exit C is just beside the hotel. There are so many restaurants to choose from across the street and beside the hotel. The breakfast has many delicious choices, continental bfast and chinese food. In the afternoon, lobby has popcorn and drinks. They also have tea time with lots of pastries but we didnt try. At night they have porridge also. The hotel has self service laundry with iron on the 28th floor which you can monitor in your room which is very convenienrlt Front destk Sally, Tina and Nacy are very helpful which make our stay very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to my famuly and friends.

A Reception staff (a male) was not conversant in English at all and I had to speak to another one who fortunately does speak a bit of English. Hotel facade is beautiful but lobby area was a bit underwhelming. Room was big and spacious and quality furnishing. But for such a big room only comes with one bed. Need to pay for an extra bed. Also what I find ridiculous is that room sleeps 3 persons but breakfast is only for 2. Similarly if room sleeps 2,breakfast is only for 1. This means you are “forced” to buy an additional breakfast. So ridiculous. No other hotel in the world does this, only China.
