The hotel is great, with excellent views. The staffs are attentive and kind. Surrounding of the hotel has no shops. However the hotel has restaurant and bar which could ease our request. Overall I would recommend those looking for nice view, services can consider this hotel.

Lovely hotel, highly recommended! The staff are very responsive, and they paid top-level attention to everything! This is the best place in Chengdu to stay if you are waiting for a flight. Free shuttle service, clean and comfortable rooms, everything you need. The territory is very cozy and cozy. I'm really glad that I stayed in this place. The best impressions remained. The **Grand Hyatt Chengdu** is a solid luxury option right in the heart of the city on Chunxi Road, with great location perks for shopping and exploring. **Service** stands out positively—staff are attentive, courteous, and helpful throughout the stay. The **breakfast** is average: it has variety, but nothing particularly memorable or standout compared to other high-end hotels in Chengdu. The on-site hotpot restaurant (#8) is a real highlight—authentic Sichuan-style, with excellent quality ingredients, flavorful broths (like the mala options), and a fun, casual vibe. Definitely worth trying if you're into hotpot; it's one of the better ones in the area. On the downside, the place feels a bit run-down in spots, likely from cost-saving measures—some areas show wear, maintenance could be better, and it doesn't always match the ”Grand” Hyatt polish you'd expect. Also, beware of checkout around 12:30 PM—lots of guests seem to leave at the same time, creating a rush at the front desk and elevators. Requesting a late checkout is a good idea if your schedule allows, but plan accordingly to avoid the peak crowds. Overall, a decent stay for the location, service, and that standout hotpot, but tempered expectations on upkeep and breakfast. I'd give it **3.5–4 out of 5** based on this experience.

Very charming boutique hotel with attentive service. Can walk to Kuanzhai Alleys and not much nightlife around so fairly quiet. We stayed on the top floor, access by lift and view to the patio garden. The rooms are large, minimalist decor with a warm woodsy feel, and the bathroom is very nice. Special recommendation for the leisure area, with lovely book corners, garden with pond and the dining area. Excellent vibes, loved going there for a complete breakfast and afternoon tea. Their barista in the afternoon makes very legit latte, bonus points for the osmanthus one. Many thanks to the staff for the WeChat information and the panda charm as souvenir~

Service: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

We are so glad that we picked this hotel. The hotel is stunning. We arrived late and were glad that hotpot was available in the hotel restaurant as it was freezing cool outside. We enjoyed our dinner in the beautiful restaurant. Our room was stunning. The beds were super comfortable. The heater was great. No issues with the room temperature. We slept like a baby after a two and half hours journey from Siguniang. The young staff members were helpful and attentive. Our experience in this hotel has exceeded our expectations. Sadly, we only stayed a night. We would love to revisit. Note: The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the Bippengou scenic park entrance .

We had a fantastic tranquil stay for 2 nights at this accommodation. The hosts are wonderful and show great hospitality to all their guests. They have offered rides in the area (for us a visit to the panda base was a must), organized a transfer, offered tea and coffee throughout the day and were available all the time. Our highlight was picking tea leaves with the family’s grandmother and preparing the tea with the family’s grandfather. The room and public places are cosy and well equipped. Our son loved the tree house in the backyard. The food was tasty and their menu offered us to try some local delicacies. Recommendation to everyone who wants to stay in the area around Ya’an.

Location: the hotel is located inside Shuangqiao valley national park. The scenic green bus will alight at the hotel so upon arrival, the bus will stop at the doorstep of the hotel or flag it to get further into the national park. The scenic bus will drive all the way towards the redwood forest which is the end point of the park, around 30-45 mins. I highly encourage to stay inside the scenic area as just a day trip will be too rush, with a few days, you get to acclimatize yourself to avoid altitude sickness and also get to explore each location properly and even trek the boardwalk between the locations instead of taking the bus. As long as you don’t exit the national park, you can still utilize your entry ticket and bus ticket. I have stayed for 3 days and was able to use the same ticket for 3 days which was very worthwhile. Service: there is a young male stuff who is very attentive. As soon as the scenic bus alighted me at the hotel, he came out to receive my bag. Also, when I had difficulties flagging the bus since some of them were already full from passengers at the entrance , he came out from the reception just to help me. Besides him, there’s a young lady (without spectacles) who has also been very helpful and friendly and has helped to stop the scenic bus for boarding. Thank you! Room View: if you are looking for a place to take a break, this will be the best place and it is very quiet and the Mountain View is just right in-front. Facilities: the room is very cosy yet big. There’s a bathtub right infront of the mountain view. Overall, it has been a great stay with a with such an amazing view. Will definitely return for a stay if there’s an opportunity.
