Overdue maintenance. Air conditioning is out of order, unpleasant atmosphere, staff is good.
Everything is hanging loose, window handle, bathroom shower hanging hook. Furthermore, a lot of noise due to the building's extraction. My room 160 was right next to it. Because of this I slept very badly.
Not recommended.

The stay in Villa Meridiana was a charming experience, suspended in time. If you fit for the absence of TV or other electronic comfort, original furniture tells stories of another era. The villa has only four rooms – each dedicated to a great figure of the Salentine culture – and makes you feel like a guest in a private residence. The terrace around the villa admire the blue sea where the ionic and Adriatic are mixed, while the park smells of pines and Mediterranean flowers. Ideal for those who want to listen to silence and sea.

The hotel is located in the square near the station. The rooms are spacious and have a variety of rooms with classic furnishings. Spacious room with separate room garden and large and renovated bathroom. The choice was made by the neighborhood with the FS station but I should go back to Lecce is here I would go back. nice and professional staff. Quality price convenience: excellent. We stayed one night in this hotel. Room # 119 has been renovated but keeping the previous sanitary ware and furniture.
The soundproofing in this room is horrible. We heard noises from the guests upstairs until late at night and the next day, the telephone conversation
in English at 06.00 from the room next door. (luckily there are earplugs) Excellent breakfast, the room and the reception in a decidedly more
design style.

The rooms are very modern and very clean, the breakfast is good, the hotel is well located next to a beach and there are plenty of buses that go to the city. The hotel shuttle to the old town is free, it's great.
We really liked the pool, the sweet potato fries and the stews to enjoy by the pool.
The staff is perfect, and special mention for Vito, the pool boy who is extremely nice and very helpful

1118120****The hotel breakfast is very rich and the dining environment is also very good. It is suitable for business trips and the price seems to be okay. The place is small and it is still very crowded at 9 o'clock. I had to find another way to extend my stay. I got a room. The front desk customer service was still very responsible and serious.

IItaly ExplorerThen pool was okay but the birds kept on flying in and drinking from it so I got out of there to avoid avian flu which would have destroyed my vacation. They need to really keep the birds out of the pool.
They also don’t have a clothing steamer or irons so you might need to wear your wrinkly clothes or pay them and they return it back ironed the next day.
The toilets had low water pressure so sometimes to took like 3-5 flushes to get rid of all the toilet paper and poop.
The location is about 1 km from the city centre and a bit further from the Leece station.
The breakfast was comprehensive and had the standard things like hams, cheeses, pancake machine and ice creams and gelato for 15eu . This is probably a good value since a pasta is about 10-13 eu nearby anndni nthe city centre including the taxes.
I don’t know if I’d stay here again.

GGuest UserWould be nicer if they have some support to the guests, like snacks, refreshments and booze, especially around the pool, since the hotel is in the middle of nowhere .
The AC is tooooo weak. Practically doesn't work. Our rooms were very hot and the Air conditioner not dimensioned for the amount of heat and size of the room.
The facility is beautiful, swimming pool very nice, the place is super cleaned, nice architecture, easy access.

GGuest UserThe hotel was close to the airport along with complement transportation to the airport. There is an outstanding pizzeria near by and the selection was great along with the quality. We stayed for one night to be near the airport to catch a very early flight in Bari.

GGuest UserIt was great to stay at this wonderful palace with histrory of caring children in the past. The facilities, location and quality of food were best but first of all, the warmest hospitality of all the staffs especially Francesco is the best reason why we should stay at this palace!

Some issues with the door and the shower, but besides that, we had a wonderful stay. The reception was very welcoming, help us book a restaurant for dinner and the pool is great.
