Room is slightly small but still able to fit 2 adults. Luggage space might be tight if you have 2 large ones. Simple breakfast was served and if you need to refill water, you can simply ask the counter and they'll gladly assist you.

I love Charlton house, it was really quirky. The way it has been styled is really unusual. It makes you feel like you're in a bit of a fantasy world with the little corridors and quirky little nooks and crannies. For me it fit the bill, it did the job that I needed but I understand for those people that do not get it on an offer and pay a lot of money to stay there I understand how they might say that it's a bit dirty a bit tired a bit grubby and needs a bit of TLC. There seemed to be one very sweet man that was running around doing pretty much everything and the rest of the staff were hidden behind doors or just not there. I'm not sure. There were staff present in the spa and they were lovely and helpful and kind. My little room was gorgeous and cute and cozy, and clean enough although tatty in places. For me I really had a nice day and I would definitely come back. The breakfast was extremely basic but I didn't have extremely high expectations, and I'm not really a breakfast person, so again it may not make the tick box for others but it did the job for me. Z Hotel’s location is excellent. Central yet not too busy with lots of eating options (including in-house restaurant reasonably priced), Five Guys burger and Pizza Express virtually next door. Sainsbury and Tesco Express for groceries and tidbits within easy walking distance. Roman Baths and Abbey less than 5 mins walk. Pulteney Bridge & Weir, Guildhall Market all within a hop and a skip away. Room is typical small size but comfortable. Staff is superb and friendly, luggage storage provided with a smile. Love! Bath is fantastic. I can definitely live here and enjoying all the parks. Even in the frigid coldwave, I bundled up and explored all the gorgeous parks & gardens feeling like a Bridgerton extra promenade-ing🤣❤️

The location is not very convenient and not sure why but the buses that stop in front of the hostel do not show on either google map or apple map so I only found out there there were direct buses after arriving the hostel. However, instead of taking buses, I highly recommend walking to the city centre as you will walk through an amazing field of grassland. The room is very spacious, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommended!

Great stay all round. Only down side is restricted late breakfast times 8-9 am only.

Best hotel in Bath. Very beautiful hotel and the room is so comfortable and have all required amenities. Big room, big bathroom, strong water pressure and hot water is working well. A lot of plug point and got a fridge as well. This hotel have an elevator. The downside is on the parking area where guest isrequired to pay for 15£. But they have free parking on the side street that is free from 7pm to 8am in the morning. We had a pleasant stay here and will come back later.

Complementary refreshments and being able to cast to the tv was great, as we're the blackout blinds. Lovely breakfast in the mornings. The room was compact but well laid out and very cute.

The rooms were spacious and well-lit, with a simple yet elegant decor. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep without any disturbances. The hotel offered a wide range of amenities, from a fitness center to a swimming pool, from dining options to meeting rooms, all reflecting the hotel's high standards.

Special thanks to Manager Emilia and the team at Holiday Express for making our stay wonderful. The hotel was spotless, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the price was very reasonable. It’s a great place for families – our kids loved the swimming pool – and the bar was a nice extra for relaxing in the evening. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely return!

Friendly service; clean room and bathroom. Nothing wrong with it really except that I was expecting a HOTEL based on the pictures and certainly the price! The location is great but be aware that this an INN with rooms attached at the back. Breakfast not included (costs £15 extra). Location great right in front of the cathedral but no parking. A good, comfortable stay but overpriced fro what it was and the time of year (mid-October).
