I was a bit daunted by reviews when booking but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, you get what you pay for (and a bit more). It’s a hostel with private rooms, not a hotel. Once you realize that, you manage your expectations. It is in a prime location next to Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. It is near a metro station and there are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The room was adequate (I booked a single room). It was clean and comfortable. Inside the room was a small tv, a small refrigerator, a desk a twin bed and a small closet area. I wasn’t too concerned about the room because I didn’t intend to spend much time in there but it was comfortable enough for my stay. The bathrooms are shared but are privately used so you don’t actually share it with anyone while using. It was always clean and regularly checked (but of course as they are shared some people clear up after themselves better than others). There were several so I never needed to wait more than a few mins. The shower pressure was fine and the water temperature was perfect for me. Even though you pay for gym and facility use when you stay, I never used them so can’t comment on them. The checkin and check out processes were easy. The staff were all friend and helpful. The building felt safe and I never felt worried about anything. I don’t really have any negatives to comment on. There was a little noise at time from other residents but that’s beyond the control of the staff etc.

I had an 1 night enjoyable stay. The front desk was very pleasant and got us settled in right away. The elevators go directly to your floor which was nice. The room was clean, and nice decor. The room was small , but i didn't mind. The bed was comfortable and plenty of soft pillows. I really liked the shampoo products that were in the shower. The toilet and the shower were seperated by a sliding door that did not go to the ceiling. You can defineltly hear the person in using the toilet. The shower had a tinted glass, but the the body silluette could be seen for sure. I was with my husband , so I didnt mind as much with this privacy issue, butI would have preferred a bathroom with a full door to the ceiling. for added privacy. A girl has to leave her private bathroom matters to her guy's.imagination. All in all is was a nice stay... walking distance to everything. Check out was easy and staff was very nice. would surely stay there agian.

We had an excellent stay at the Delta Marriott Hotel in New York City. The location is perfect, close to major attractions and with easy access to public transportation. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities, making it a comfortable retreat after a busy day in the city. The on-site dining options were superb, offering a variety of delicious meals that catered to different tastes. We particularly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness and safety, which made us feel at ease during our entire stay. Overall, we highly recommend the Delta Marriott Hotel for anyone visiting NYC. It offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and top-notch service. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the city.

We always stay at Marriott, although I rarely use my Bonvoy membership. I always book our hotel through trip.com. The fridge had a bottle of Coke that had been drank by the previous guest. The hair dryer bag is dusty. Everything else looks good. They provide free water during check-in and a raincoat in case of rain. The breakfast seems decent for the price.

Their shuttle service runs until 11PM. Luckily, we were able to catch the last shuttle. When we got there, one of the front desk persons got into an argument with a customer and stopped assisting other guests 🥹 we had to wait longer to check-in because of that. The other receptionist was calm despite what happened and he was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small. So if there are 4 of you in a room, your luggages will barely fit. The beds were comfortable but the rooms aren’t soundproof so you can really hear the street and the neighbors. Bring earplugs if noise bothers you. Breakfast was a pantry with cereals, bagels, eggs, potatoes, a meat dish, and fruits. No frills but it was more than enough for us. The best thing about the hotel is the location so if you have an early flight the next day, it will take you 10 minutes or less to get to your terminal if you’re in terminal 1 and another 10 minutes for every next terminal so plan accordingly.

The reception staff is very cooperative and available 24/7. The local NY tour guideline desk person is very good as he guides us perfectly and shows us the best approach for reaching the destination. The cleaning staff is also good and keeps our room clean and hygienic.

Location, hotel is good. Just the service not good in this hotel. The front desk staff not really friendly and no smile. The ground floor bodyguard is friendly and helpful. Was second time to stay in this hotel but same problem to extra charge by my credit card. Need to be careful.

Very nice hotel inside, being in Chinatown it caters primarily aimed at Chinese clientele, hence it was difficult for us to find many options of vegetarian breakfast. Having said that, there was always fruits, breads, toasts, etc the standard staples so no complaints. Reception staff weren't too welcoming as they seemed to just get you past their desk, not sure whether that was racism or just the culture. Rooms are nice and spacious and location of hotel is very convenient for travellers depending on public transport. Several of chinese eateries right at the doorstep.

I thought the room was very large (compared to some tiny NYC rooms I’ve stayed) I appreciated the view from the room and the bar. I did not notice sound in my room despite being right in the center of action in Times Square. If you like being close to tons of people (I do) then this is a great spot. If you prefer a quiet spot, be aware of the proximity to all of the people. Based on the other reviews, I double checked my bill. The credit for food was not correct. They were helpful and fixed it after I asked. The patty melt was delicious! Overall I would stay again, but was just a little annoyed that I had to request that the bill be corrected. The room was clean and comfortable.

The facility is under renovation. The location is right near the airport so nice if your flying and only spending 1 night in Buffalo. The hotel room was a little dirty when I filed a complaint the hotel was great and accommodating with Excellent customer service i recieved from Kevin and Brooke. Getting the money back from trip.com was a whole other experience. Despite my issues I would book again with the hotel but I will not be booking through trip.com every again. Their customer service is horrible and they have no number to call...you have to communicate via their chat or email.

It is under renovation so it was pretty noisy and inconvenient. However, the staffs are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is awesome. I booked three rooms for our families and ourselves. They looked nice and clean. It was a nice staying.

We live almost 2 hours away, and stayed at Sleep Inn & Suites so our family of 4 could get a little extra sleep before an early morning flight out of BUF. We booked a room and parking package, which allowed us to leave our car in the hotel parking lot for an upcharge that amounted to half of what we'd have paid to park it at the airport. Our room (standard, 2 double beds) was not fancy, and the shower was very small, but it was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and everything was in good working order. Best of all, the breakfast offerings were set out early enough for us to have a delicious meal before we left, and our shuttle driver to the airport could not have been more cheerful or helpful. When we returned over a week later, late at night, the shuttle arrived to pick us up at the airport within minutes of our calling. We had such a good experience, we've already booked a stay for the night before our next family vacation!

Hotel stay was excellent room was clean and nice to have complimentary coffee 24/7

My sister & I stayed here July 3-4 for some peace & quiet over the holiday. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Free hot breakfast buffet every morning (eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit & more), free wi-fi, 24 hr. coffee & tea available (could be hotter though). Spot Coffee is right across the street (open until 7 or 8 pm & closed on July 4th). Hotel is easy to get to by bus, nice little garden outside next to parking lot. Salsarita's next door, Waves (Asian restaurant), Subway, & Ted's Hot Dogs. Also is pet friendly, and they have a pool. Note that bars, restaurants & coffee shops in the area are closed on major holidays, so you'll need to plan on driving somewhere to eat, or order in. Biggest issue was that the beds are at least three feet high, probably higher. Mattress & springs on top of a platform. We're in our 60s & getting into bed was an ordeal. Never thought to ask about this. Can't imagine what someone in a wheelchair or with even worse mobility issues would have done. Very comfy, but you seriously need a step-stool if you're short. So just keep it in mind if you stay here. Also the microwave in our room did not work properly. Minor but frustrating (staff couldn't help as apparently the machines are not all the same for each room). Little details can make or break a stay. Would stay here again, though, if they have handicap-accessible beds in another room. Overall a good experience with a couple of glitches.

The staff were very attentive & friendly; the lobby, dining area, and rooms were clean. Beds and chair were comfortable and roomy, The morning breakfast was quite good! The location is accessible to all of downtown Buffalo and the surrounding Western New York. The African parrot in the lobby was a bonus.

I would not suggest Hilton garden inn for cleanliness. This hotel has great food and the nicest people I met for a long time. But they never came to clean the room for 9 days!

The room was a good size, very clean, and comfortable bed. I stayed on the 2nd floor and although you can hear people walking quite loudly on the floor above, it was still a pleasurable stay. Breakfast was great, and the attendant was incredibly kind and friendly!! Great staff.

I don't hate this hotel. Is it any great shakes? No. But they have a pool, with free coffee and breakfast. That's enough for me, and I am sure that's enough for most people reading this review. If you are like me, a business traveler, you know all the Hilton brands, and for what it is, it's just as good as most other Hampton inns. ONE small problem. When I went into the closet to get the extra blanket, a door hinge was on top of that blanket and flew out at me. Thank god I was paying attention and looking up, because it certainly would have hit me. Strangely, my closet door had two hinges so I don't know why it was there. Anyone who has ever held a door hinge in their hand will tell you that is never something that you want hitting your head. So. All in all, watch out for the hinges and you'll be fine!

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. I’m a loyal Hilton guest but this was my first time staying at this particular hotel. Staff were super friendly throughout my stay and my room was large, airy and very clean, though the floor of my bathroom was a tad sticky and the lighting in the room is poor unless you turn on all the lights… I slept like a baby on both nights — it was super quiet at night (though you can hear people in their rooms as you walk down the corridors), the bed was suuuuuper comfortable and the room temperature just right! I still remain surprised at the lack of recycling efforts in guest rooms (a downfall of most Hiltons, unfortunately) and I was also surprised at the lack of toiletries provided in the bathroom (see photo).……..and the shower was in a very strange position — you had to squeeze in next to the toilet in order to open the sliding door and turn on the tap, else go fully into the shower from the other end and get wet whilst you turn it on. Very poor engineering! All this aside, my stay was overall a good one — and I’d no doubt stay here again — but there were two things that didn’t fly well with me (two things that may be fine for others!) 1. They have a VERY small gym — small especially for the size of the hotel. When I tried to use it on the first morning of my stay (around 6.15am) it was already “packed” and only one treadmill was working. I ended up leaving as there simply wasn’t any room for another person. There’s also no water or water fountain in the gym (I asked reception about where I could fill my bottle and they said they didn’t have anywhere to do this — so make sure you take a full bottle into the gym with you!), there’s no hand sanitizer, and there were no gym towels on the second morning of my stay. As someone who chooses their hotel based in part on access to a decent fitness center, this was a disappointing part of my stay. 2. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the first floor — I’m very grateful I was staying on the 4th floor!

I am not one to write reviews, but the staff at the Hampton Inn Islandia is exceptional and should be commended! Gen Manager Kaitlyn Young was kind, helpful, courteous and professional. We didn't know the area very well and were staying at the hotel until we found an apartment. This young lady tended to all our concerns and needs. Couldn't have been nicer. The first night the gentleman I believe his name was Romero gave a needed toothbrush and deodorant. I told him so sorry I came unprepared. He replied, ”no issue we are prepared. Just let us know what you need”. Then there was George (chief engineer) . A perfect gentleman! Came running to carry my heavy bags and also immediately fix the doorknob when it was sticking. The ultimate was Rommy. Some noisy and inconsiderate guests were loud and obnoxious late in the evening. She changed the room for my daughter and made sure she was in a quiet room for the night. Also, gave her a snack seeing how upset she was. When I called to thank this lovely lady, she replied that's my job! I assured her not many people do their jobs so efficiently and professionally. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great and plentiful and the staff truly amazing! Thank you all for a great stay. Top notch staff!

Kakitangan sangat profesional dan sopan. Biliknya bersih tetapi permaidani tidak sedap. Dindingnya nipis kertas, Anda boleh mendengar jiran anda pergi ke bilik mandi (secara harfiah). We were in town for a family wedding, and spent the weekend at this hotel. We arrived early, but our room was ready and they allowed us to check in. The room was very clean, with a good amount of towels and amenities. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very ample, with a good selection of foods, including healthy options. There are also some very nice restaurants near the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Refused to let my son checkin for a 2 night stay because he only had my credit card even though the room was prepaid and I was on the phone with the front desk to vouch for the card. Thank god he was able to find a Marriott and get a room with my credit card with no problem otherwise he would had nowhere to go after a 6 hour drive from PA. Not only did they put my son at risk, the Hampton Inn also refused to credit me for the stay claiming he was a no show. Their manager was hostile, rude and nasty. I also escalated the issue to ******* and Hilton (parent co of Hampton Inn) and Hilton finally agreed to credit me but only for 1 night. I will not be staying at any Hilton property or using ******* in the future. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I booked this hotel for a wedding I was attending this weekend (9.15-9.17) as they reserved a room block. TRASHY and doesn't resemble a Marriott property at all. * Leah at the front desk wasn't paying attention to what she was doing so the 3 keys she issued for a 4th floor room didn't work because IT WAS THE WRONG ROOM. She also assumed because my aunt (mother of the groom) and I were talking, that we had already checked in. There was only one person at the desk before she came to help customers and that person was helping my aunt. -- * The condition of the hotel of was subpar. Burnt out sections of carpet by the elevators. Things looked dirty and dingy. *The room had visible stains on the couch and curtains. The ac vent was also broken. -- *ISSUES: Fire alarm went off at 117am Saturday morning 9.16 - the morning of the wedding. It was blaring for over 30 mins. People were just standing around in the hallway, not knowing what was going on. We rushed out and someone said that a guest was smoking in their room and it was a false alarm but the alarm itself continued blaring. If it was a real fire, we'd all be dead. It then went off again near 2am - the fire department was on site and they had the fire truck on and making noise which we could hear in our room, while also talking and laughing among themselves. If it's a false alarm, how about turning the truck off or better yet, realize it's past 2am and people need to sleep? Needless to say, nobody attending the wedding at 11am that day got any rest. We woke up at 7am to start getting ready. Breakfast was subpar. *We come back to the hotel post reception and after party at between 10-11pm and the fire alarm goes off AGAIN right as we walk into our room with dinner. Had to go back out and wait around for an answer as to what was happening which didn't seem to phase the staff as they were behaving extremely nonchalantly. Seems someone was smoking in their room AGAIN. -- * Elevators were down almost the whole weekend and the ice machines were broken on every floor except the first. --- Overall - wouldn't recommend nor stay here ever again. Trashy dirty hotel, more like a motel. Not worth the price per night. Didn't sleep the whole weekend because of idiocy and poor management. I contacted Marriott for a refund on 9.19 - spoke with Cara who sent the request to the hotel. She sent it with the wrong email address so the hotel closed it with no resolution. Spoke with Chantelle on 9.29 who sent another request to the hotel - haven't heard back as yet. Hoping to get a response and refund for this visit because it honestly ruined the weekend and wedding staying here.
