This is a perfect spot in Nagano if you want to take a break before heading to other parts such as Hakuba for skiing . It is literally right at the station and connected via MIDORI where you can buy groceries and with lots of restaurants. Due to fight delay, we arrived late at night at around 10pm. MIDORI shops were all closed but ht path to hotel still open and we can still find plenty of cafes nearby. It has reserved Alpico bus to Hakuba right at hotel or you may go to the regular bus stop at bus station 26 for higher frequency of bus service. Will definitely stay here again if we need to stop over at Nagano. Though the hotel is not new, it’s spacious and clean enough for a comfortable stay .

Had a really pleasant stay overall. The place was very clean and well-maintained, and the location was convenient for getting around. Service was excellent 👍 staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Amenities were also complete and comfortable. This is my second stay. Was impressed with the room last time. However, points are deducted this time because the TV will turn on with a loud speaker at 7am each morning. Someone before set an alarm and forgot to turn off.

Hotel a bit far from Karuizawa station but cozy and good amenities. You can book private onsen 1 time per day. They have a voucher yen2,000 per night and if you are not request room cleaning, they will top up another yen 2,000 which can use for Bar and dinner. Only 2 comments that plate size was too small and they charged yen550 per person for tiny 4 Breadsticks for 2 persons which normally western restaurant give for free for guests every table.

In the second day of hotel, we planned out trip to the castle, shopping street, and the Japanese alps area. So we had breakfast early and went to the station to meet our guide. After coming back from the trip, we took taxi again to the hotel. When we booked our trip to the station from the hotel, we realized that the hotel provided frequent trips to and from the station. As we were tired, we went to onsen, which was provided by the hotel. It was a free service or included in the stay, I think. The onsen is located in another big hotel and the bus ride took 30 minutes. There were many people from many hotels going together to the onsen hotel. The onsen was pretty big, two indoor pools and two outdoor pools. We enjoyed the warm water and relaxed. The bus brought us back to the hotel at 9 pm. The hotel gave new towels and other supplies in the door of our room as we didn’t have a cleaning service in the morning. Anyway, the hotel restaurant is good and the free shuttle bus service is exceptional as no reservation was necessary. I will visit this hotel again when we travel to Matsumoto next time.

The hotel is brand new. The room is lovely and so spacious! The bed was huge and it was comfortable, we all slept well every night. Staff were courteous and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel location is also perfect, right on old karuizawa ginza street with many food and shopping options nearby during the day. The breakfast options were very limited and the food was the same every day, so I found it a challenge to feed my toddler. Basic food items like cereal and slice bread were not available. The fruit options were also limited and not the most child friendly e.g. pineapple, grapefruit and grapes. Also, the rooms are not made every day but you can request for the staff to clean and make the room. Overall we still had a great stay and hope to visit again soon.

Little gem of a location and hotel. Close to see the monkeys of Yamanochi. We had a room with bed, breakfast and evening meal, which was so fresh and tasted amazing. The breakfast made sure we were set up for the day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was immaculate, with breathtaking snow views. Delicious breakfast and convenient location. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers. Will definitely return!
