Suitenkaku was our first stay in a Ryokan. Those who want to visit Tottori, Izumo and Sakaiminato will find Matsue well located, while the Ryokan is next door to the Ichibata railway deserving the Izumo Taisha. 到着が夜遅かったのとお天気が悪かったので足湯などが楽しめませんでした。 もう少し早い到着だったら夜の温泉街の散歩も楽しめたのではと残念でした。 次回は日帰りでも温泉が楽しめるみたいなのでぜひ昼間に行きたいと思います。 別館のお風呂の案内もあり温泉は楽しめました。

There is also a convenience store called Popura on the first floor, which may be useful for those who want to stay within the hotel. The downtown area is a little far, but you can get there by renting a bicycle.

Old and famous ryokan in town, with old and very nice Japanese garden with its own history. This hotel provide a very large outdoor public hot bath pond which both men and women could use together. Nearby the hotel is a drainage canal with cherry blossom trees along both sides made a wonderful view.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Ichibata Railway Shinjiko Onsen Station, only two or three minutes' walk away. It is very convenient to take the Ichibata Railway to Izumo Taisha Shrine. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast and dinner are very good, including seafood bowls. The hot springs are also good and the baths are very comfortable.

The building is old, but it looks like it has been renewed. Some rooms may not have a good view on the window side. I feel hospitality with origami. As for the meal, the quantity and quality are satisfactory. There is no particular problem with customer service.
