I stayed at this hotel for an exhibition abroad, and the location was absolutely perfect – a direct walk to the exhibition hall, saving me the commute hassle. The room was clean and quiet, with complete office facilities. The front desk staff were patient and professional in their communication. The breakfast offered a rich variety, allowing me to enjoy my meal even when rushing for the exhibition. It's my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely book it again for my next exhibition.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Marriott Suwon. My daughter and I received a warm and attentive service—special thanks to Manager Owen, who kindly assisted with my early check-in. After a long journey, this thoughtful gesture made a big difference and set the tone for the rest of my stay. The hotel’s location is another strong point. Situated by the lake, it offers a scenic atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing walks or simply unwinding with a view. At the same time, it’s conveniently linked to a mall, making dining, shopping, and daily necessities easily accessible without having to travel far.

Excellent value for money! The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel was very clean. There's a convenient store right downstairs, and a direct bus to Myeongdong stops right outside, getting you there in just 45 minutes. Super convenient!

The hotel location was excellent — there were so many restaurants nearby, and the Hyundai Department Store being less than a 5-minute walk away was a huge plus. All of the staff were incredibly kind and helped carry our luggage all the way to our room. They also greeted us warmly every time we entered the hotel. The hotel has a great fitness center and a swimming pool, although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool during this visit. I’m already planning to stay at this hotel again this fall. I absolutely loved the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Korea.

Great Location & Exceptional Service – Novotel Suwon We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Suwon and will definitely stay here again! Room: The room was clean, well-maintained, and a decent size. Front Desk: The front desk staff were wonderfully patient and helpful, taking the time to give clear, detailed instructions on how to get to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Location & Access: The location is super convenient, featuring direct internal access to the adjacent mall during operating hours (10:30 AM – 10:00 PM), making shopping and dining hassle-free regardless of the weather. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and very pleasant stay!

I was here for only one night, but enjoyed the stay very much! I had a good rest. There was someone who spoke English, and the service was very good. I loved being able to see a few more episodes of 'Foundation' there. The location is not so good for someone relying on bus services. If you have a car, though, the location is great. The room was also nice and big enough, with good towels and all the amenities. I recommend this hotel to people with cars, who are by far the majority of travelers.

I ended up arriving early and was willing to wait for my room to be ready, but my room was ready, and I was able to go in. Everything was very clean, and the service was top-notch. It was pretty easy to get around and not too bad if you had to take a taxi. The area wasn't noisy. There were plenty of places to eat, including a healthy sandwich shop around the corner. I wish I could remember the name, but the ingredients were fresh, and there was English available, so no guessing. The place is like a Salady, but for sandwiches. Anyway, I had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

The workers are friendly. Me & my husband went to celebrate our anniversary and we were greeted with a free drink on the house and they also do free coffee in the morning. I loved it. The area was beautiful! My kids enjoyed the stay. They also had a huge spa. Camp Casey was 7 minutes away, and nijimori was 12 minutes away from hotel location. And if you play Pokémon go…it’s a great area to walk around and catch Pokémon! Would definitely go there again if we have another trip near that area.

Pros: 5stars for the convenience~~~ Being so close to the KTX station made my commute so easy, and you'll never run out of dining options nearby~~ Cons: 4 stars, for there is no elevator here. :’) If you’re traveling with large suitcases, be ready for some heavy lifting. 💪🏻 The room is a bit cramped. Also, you might want to bring your own toiletries or ask the front desk directly for refills, as they weren't topped up during my visit. :’) Still a good value for the price and location.^^
