Hotel Dengan bar di Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

Pros: Located right at Exit 3 of KINTEX Station, making it super convenient for visiting Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, the waterpark, and Aqua Planet Ilsan. The location is fantastic, surrounded by large commercial complexes and residential areas. Convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and medium-sized supermarkets are all very close by! The hotel is divided into an East Wing and a West Wing; I stayed in the East Wing this time. The service attitude was excellent, and the front desk was very responsive. However... It seems to fall short of a five-star hotel standard. I stayed with my child, and although the hotel's description welcomes children, there were absolutely no amenities for kids – no children's slippers, bathrobes, or even toothbrushes and toothpaste! Compared to many five-star hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo, the attention to detail here is lacking. There's a French pastry shop on the first floor, which closes at 6 PM. On the third floor, there's a gym and a sauna… The room view was decent, and the night view was also beautiful. The TV had YouTube, which kept my child entertained. There's no bathtub, but the shower had excellent water pressure – very comfortable! However, there's a strange feeling of stinginess – just one comb, one shower cap, a small box with cotton swabs, and a tiny bar of soap. That's it. Japanese five-star hotels are usually so generous with amenities; I don't want to compare, but it's hard not to ㅠㅠ. The desk and wardrobe in the room both had some damage and chipped paint. I actually had to switch from the first bathrobe to the second after showering because the first one was so old and thin; the second one was new and in good condition. It really highlights the difference when you compare them. If there were other five-star hotels nearby, I'd probably choose a different one next time. My overall stay felt more like a three-star experience, falling short of a five-star standard.

I always book this hotel for my business trips. The environment is nice, and it's close to my company. There's a Lotte Department Store nearby, which is convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast spread is quite good, and the service is excellent.

Cozy & clean room but the only issues I had was with the A/C controls and room location. I prefer the room to be on the colder side & whenever I’d set the thermostat lower, the climate in the room pretty much stayed the same at around 70 degrees. I ended up getting a room near the elevator & every morning during housekeeping hours, it was pretty loud. Sounds carried easily in near the room’s location. They offered room service (which I loved) & parking was free. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Excellent value for money! The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel was very clean. There's a convenient store right downstairs, and a direct bus to Myeongdong stops right outside, getting you there in just 45 minutes. Super convenient!

The hotel location was excellent — there were so many restaurants nearby, and the Hyundai Department Store being less than a 5-minute walk away was a huge plus. All of the staff were incredibly kind and helped carry our luggage all the way to our room. They also greeted us warmly every time we entered the hotel. The hotel has a great fitness center and a swimming pool, although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool during this visit. I’m already planning to stay at this hotel again this fall. I absolutely loved the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Korea.

Great Location & Exceptional Service – Novotel Suwon We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Suwon and will definitely stay here again! Room: The room was clean, well-maintained, and a decent size. Front Desk: The front desk staff were wonderfully patient and helpful, taking the time to give clear, detailed instructions on how to get to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Location & Access: The location is super convenient, featuring direct internal access to the adjacent mall during operating hours (10:30 AM – 10:00 PM), making shopping and dining hassle-free regardless of the weather. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and very pleasant stay!

The location was good and the room was quiet, but one of the bed legs was tilted, and one side of the mattress was sunken. Because I booked it for a low price, I didn't complain to the front desk. The business breakfast was good, but the content was somewhat disappointing. While it may have been a structural issue, the soundproofing was below expectations, as people talking in the hallway was loud enough.

This was my first trip to Suwon to cheer on a soccer away game. I don't have any photos of the accommodation, but the room was clean and the staff at the counter were friendly, so I had a good stay. However, the parking lot is not large, so some people may feel uncomfortable because they share the parking lot of a hospital near the hotel. Overall, I am satisfied~

The location was absolutely perfect for enjoying Dongducheon! Parking was easy, either at the market parking lot or, since it was the weekend, at the Eoullim Center, and the front desk staff were super helpful. The facilities were clean, and the StandbyMe TV was so convenient and comfortable! We originally came for a family trip to Dongducheon Natural Recreation Forest, and booked this hotel as an extra night to check out the restaurants near Bosan Station on our second day. It was 100 out of 100 points!

Pros: 5stars for the convenience~~~ Being so close to the KTX station made my commute so easy, and you'll never run out of dining options nearby~~ Cons: 4 stars, for there is no elevator here. :’) If you’re traveling with large suitcases, be ready for some heavy lifting. 💪🏻 The room is a bit cramped. Also, you might want to bring your own toiletries or ask the front desk directly for refills, as they weren't topped up during my visit. :’) Still a good value for the price and location.^^
