Hotel Beach di Hainan, China

My friend and I booked a twin room with two single beds side by side for an excellent price. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite with separate rooms and separate bathrooms which was such a surprise and so lovely. Our receptionist Wuyan was very kind and offered excellent service answering any questions and showing patience when we could not speak the local language. We had a view of the pool and the harbour surrounded by mountains and tropical greenery. We are a very short walk to Dadonghai beach. We had a fantastic trip, thank you!

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a decent view of the island. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Only downside was perhaps that the area was quiet, more so than we had expected. Many of the restaurants in the streets were closed. But there are still enough options for visitors. Would not advise staying more than 2 nights.

Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive. There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period.

Hotel is great and comfortable. Lobby is tastefully decorated and service staff top notch. Special shout out to Shaw for his excellent customer service, being accommodative of our needs and ever attentive. Rooms were large and sound proofing is excellent. Also a shout out to the service staff, Hardy, for the first night stay. He handled all my parcels swiftly and even helped resolve a delivery which had a little issue. Highly recommended, will return to stay at the intercontinental for sure!

A perfect trip to Sanya must be given a full five-star review by Pullman Sanya Bay! The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of Sanya Bay, with convenient transportation. The overall design combines Chinese and Southeast Asian styles. It features a tropical garden, a huge swimming pool and a private beach, every corner exuding a vacation atmosphere. The room has a wide sea view and is fully equipped, making it extremely comfortable to stay in. Special praise for the butler, Xiao Yang! Warm and cheerful, with considerate service, she took the initiative to plan our itinerary, recommend delicious food for us, and even prepared a little surprise with great care. Any questions are replied to immediately. No matter how big or small the matter is, everything is arranged without any problem. It's really like being as considerate as a friend. It's such a plus! The price is very reasonable. The facilities, environment and service are all top-notch. The cost performance is definitely among the best in Sanya Bay. Highly recommended!

Raja is very friendly and helpful, even share us the travel guide for our next location. Room amenities are all complete and prepared for little one. Kid love the theme room and astronaut suit. The location is far from town or railway station, even food delivery is at least 4km away. If you aren't driving and ain't coming for the spaceship, you're pretty stranded and bored. The weather in Dec is cold to play in kids pool as well. Coconut chicken hotpot in their restaurant is nice

I had such an amazing stay at ZRS Nature Resort, Fengbaijing👌🏾honestly, it became the highlight of my entire trip to China! The location is perfect, right by the beach, and my room was absolutely beautiful with a direct ocean view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and falling asleep to it at night was everything👌🏾it gave me such a peaceful, unforgettable experience. What truly stood out to me was the staff. Every single person was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. I even tried to tip them, but they politely refused😔that level of genuine hospitality really touched me. The area around the hotel is just as great. The street nearby has everything you could possibly need—shops, food, and activities—and stays lively until around midnight. The beach vibe is unmatched, with fun activities and even parties going on. I honestly didn’t want to leave and wish I could have extended my stay, but I had already booked another hotel in Guangzhou. No regrets at all spending my two nights here—it was 100% worth it! If you’re planning a trip, I highly recommend this place. Just make sure you book the ZRS in Fengbaijing (there are two locations), because THIS is the one you don’t want to miss!?? It's in a good location with many food choices and a supermarket within walking distance. What's most beautiful is the view that greets you at night when you are back at the accommodation. The owner is friendly and caring.

We chose Sheraton Haikou due to the great reviews, especially from helpful staff, close to the beach, and activities for children. Our stay was for 1 week. Disappointments: 1) Absence and failed service of front desk staff 2) No help with luggage (really needed it) 3) Room cleaning could have been better. 4) Communication, there was almost never English staff available. Additionally, no one once checked in on us. Maybe I’m being petty but if guests stay long you’d wanna check if they need anything or just if they’re okay. At checkout, they looked more annoyed and just wanted to get rid of me. I asked about my Marriott membership & the lady was dismissive. 5) Poorly winter holiday program for kids. Different from the advertised program on trip.com. 6) Checkout was delayed because they couldn’t find my booking. Very weird. Eventually they spoke to someone who helped me and found the booking. How is this possible considering that I’ve been there for a week? Great things: 1) location: it’s right on the beach, not far from airport and other places to explore 2. Location: it was very calm and relaxing, which is why we chose Haikou as opposed to Sanya. No heavy crowds, except when going to touristy places can expect some crowd but still manageable 3. Free photoshoot was fun and good way to create memories 4. Hot pool was a good way to make up for being in a pool, we loved it 5. Western restaurant was fine, had some good options. 6. Little play center for kids 7. Large grounds for kids to run around and to enjoy outdoors. 8. Accommodating: we were assigned a room on the 5th floor but on arrival it had a strong mould odour from the moment you exit the elevator. Was so bad when I entered the room, I instantly got a headache. All rooms have no windows, only a balcony door but be aware of bugs and spiders. We immediately got moved to a room on the 4th floor, less odour and no smell in the room. 9) Entertainment: live music at night Would I go again? Yes, especially since I know what to expect. Or try another hotel in the same area. Overall, we were happy to be by the seaside and explore places in Haikou.
