Lovely stay in Vivanta Ernakulam. The location is awesome, overlooking the Marine drive and the water. Very generous of the staff to upgrade us to a sea view room, which was the highlight as we watched the sunset from our room itself. Overall Christmas festivities were great - staff dressing up as Santa thrilled my daughter, the room was spacious and comfortable, the buffet spread was amazing too.

The property is old but nicely maintained and the staff is very polite. We liked the food as well and the variety provided by the hotel was very nice. It was our wedding anniversary and they sent a complimentary cake to our room as a welcome gesture to made our day special. All the staff members were very well behaved and definitely I would love to visit again in the future. Thanks to everyone at the hotel.

We had an incredible stay at the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa Kochi. I had originally planned this trip as a family get together to celebrate my dad's retirement. What followed was a trip, that all of us will look back fondly in the future. The front-office staff (especially Mrs Angel, Mrs Jasmine, Mrs Elisabeth and Mr Agarwal) were very welcoming and made us feel at home almost immediately. Throughout the trip, they catered to our every request and made this a very memorable experience. Before staying at the Taj Malabar, I was concerned about the dining options as I follow a strict vegan diet. All of the dining room staff & chefs (especially the executive chef Mr Mayur and the chef Mr Anoop) took special care of me in this regard. When we dined one night at the Pepper restaurant, they even prepared a special Kerala meal which adhered to my dietary choices. I'm only used to condescension and laughter over my dietary choices and this gesture made me feel incredibly happy. My initial fears were definitely unfounded and the vegan food that I had at the Taj rivals any food that I have tasted in the top vegan restaurants in the US. This trip was memorable for a lot of reasons including the Sunset at the Jetty, relaxing at the swimming pool with my father, introducing my parents to a luxurious experience at the Sauna / Jacuzzi and the Steam Room amongst others. However this wouldn't be possible with the genuine warmth and loving nature of all the staff and I would like to convey a special thanks to them for making this a genuinely special trip that I'll never forget.

The Leela, Kovalam is an amazing hotel, which my 11 year old son and I would highly recommend! It is on a cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea. We upgraded to Club Room, which provides you with access to The Cafe, a restaurant serving Club members complimentary breakfast 7-10:30am and High Tea 5-6pm and additional a La carts chargeable lunch and dinner. The Club room is exceptional, with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the Arabian Sea, King bed with very comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic walk in shower, sink and toilet, with all the toiletries. Rooms are cleaned well and the food is wonderful. We ate everything safely with no upset stomached here and the staff were wonderful! We would happily return!

Need some renovation around the path leading to beach. ***y opt for this location for ease of access to beaches, if that is not maintained it will lead to disappointment. The SPA is not per the expectation and the maintenance of the spa is very bad. Food is above average. The buffet breakfast is fine but lacks variety for those staying longer. Overall it was a good experience. The attender at the pool Mr. Babu is very good, he should be awarded for his fine service. Overall the hotel staff are polite and well ***nered and hear to our concerns.

The food was delicious. The literal example of great food with an amazing ambiance. The butter chicken was absolutely divine as was the lemonade soda. The food was totally worth it. I totally recommend this to any true food enthusiast, Thank you for the lovely dinner.

This property is situated in a good location at Fort Cochi. We went to Kochin Muziriz Binale & all the venues were easily accessible from this hotel. The Manager & Receptionist were so coperative. They have one restaurant & a rooftop restaurant with seesha lounge as well. Good Budget hotel if any one is looking for stay at Fort Kochi.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. They also allowed a 2 hours early check-in when i reached since they had the room available. I also had the opportunity to get their full body ayurvedic oil massage which was really great and comforting.

Rooms are comfortable but services were not good, no hot water, basic items are provided like water bottle, mugs, dustbin etc by asking specifically and it seems due to vacation season.

It's a beautiful place, with an spectacular view, the best seafood and cold beer of the city, There is a friendly service, in special Amal. If you are in Cochin, you must come here. It's a increíble moment for see the Fisher in the night, It Is a moment for remember.

Although it has been a year since we visited we remember with great fondness our wonderful stay with Poly and Jessy at the Cherai Beach residency. We visited in February 2023. They were always so helpful and happy to arrange trips and give us local knowledge. They were always around if you needed help. The pool was superb but the beach drew us every day. The sunbeds were always available and it was only used by the guests so it felt quite private. The sea was warm and calm, and we particularly enjoyed watching the different animals ( birds) and enjoying the sunset every evening. Our rooms were air-conditioned, with a fridge and a balcony facing the beach which was a real treat. Poly found us a driver to take us to different places and activities, and he would be with us all day at our disposal. Their local knowledge was invaluable, if we needed something, they would find it for us. There are a couple of Ayurveda centers at walking distance, and I had the best massages ever! The ladies did a head-to-toe massage by applying different oils and it was amazing. I also had yoga classes and meditation. The locals were so friendly and warm, and loved taking pictures with us! we loved the shopping centre Lulu Mall was fabulous, we only planned to go one day but ended one going three times! We highly recommend Cherai Beach, make sure you book in advance, especially if you are after the premium rooms.

Restaurants Manager Mr nithin And prasanjith,shalu, were excellent. Friendly staff, great food, nice hotel and clean. Location is suitable for the airport. Restaurant ambiance was nice and all the staff went the extra mile to make it a comfortable stay.

We had a marvelous time at the Taj Green Cove Resort. The skilled staff see to your every need and will always be there to help in any way. The attention to detail of the whole resort really comes through even in things like the decor and lighting which caught my attention. The buffet was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable about ingredients and preparation methods. Special thanks to our kind and generous server Sonia. Every night the buffet changed almost completely to new delicious choices. Then you order fresh naan which they bring to you for no extra charge. The server even remembered my wife’s wine choice from the night before. Shout out also to Mr Jacob for his extraordinary efforts in making everything work. We had a complex couple of transfers and he made it all work for us. Even thinking of having Sonia from the restaurant make us little box lunches for the car ride! I can’t thank you all at the Taj enough for your excellent care. Also don’t miss out on the high tea (no charge) on the Arabian Sea front which is beautiful as it is at sunset. The special restaurant Bait is nearby and dinner there is magical with the sea breeze, magnificent view, and awesome seafood.

I stayed at Niraamaya Retreats - Kovalam Beach Resort from 27th February to 10th March 2025 and had an incredible 14-day experience. Known for its world-class Ayurvedic treatments, I chose a wellness package that included personalized therapies, therapeutic massages, and a specially curated vegetarian diet. The meals, prepared with fresh spices, were an absolute delight. Set on a scenic hillside surrounded by lush greenery, the resort offers stunning views with the beach just 50 meters away. However, some paths are uneven with multiple steps, so walking carefully is advised. The resort is committed to eco-conscious living, promoting sustainability among guests. A highlight of my stay was sunrise yoga by the seaside, where the soothing sound of waves enhanced the meditation experience. The staff were exceptional, ensuring every guest felt welcome and cared for. Housekeeping maintained impeccable cleanliness, sweeping daily for mosquitoes and providing nets for a peaceful, bite-free sleep. A special thank you to the team for their warm hospitality and the thoughtful gift—a beautifully engraved wooden box with my name and authentic Kerala spices, which I will cherish. This retreat has been life-changing, helping me with weight loss and overall well-being through Ayurveda, especially when Western medicine had failed me.

Loved the stay. The balcony was neat, clean, proper sunlight and shed, and view. Bathroom was sanitised, proper soap clean towels bedsheets were provided. Extra bed also was provided with bed and not just a mattress, toilet paper rolls too. Everything was good. A must try stay option.

Actually we went there for an outing. But the ambience was awesome. It is spacious and beautiful. Clean resort. People are so humble and they make very tasty food too. Rooms are spacious and nice. They have a swimming pool for the enjoyment of the kids. Even though the road to the resort is little small, the resort is very spacious in a huge property. The design resembles traditional Kerala architecture with modern facilities. It's a must visit property. They gave us an awesome breakfast. Value for money deal with them.

The hospitality industry is so profit driven it has lost its perspective on its true purpose. It is rare to find a great hotel but funnily enough it is rare to find a very bad hotel or a bad hotel experience. Neemrana Tower House in Cochin, was a bad experience for my family. I booked a family room (1 king bed+1 queen bed) with an extra bed for 2 days and nights, for 4 persons from May 13th to 15th, 3+weeks in advance after clarifying details on their websites, other platforms and by calling the Manager operations, Ms. Vinita Vijayan herself. I was told that yes it was available and that booking any later would not guarantee the same facility. The booking was done online in full payment for 3 persons with extra bed charges to be paid at the hotel on arrival. I reconfirmed our booking a few days before our travel as well. At no point were we aware or told that the premises were being renovated. Come 13th of May, when we reached the hotel just before 4pm after traveling from Pollachi, we noticed that the hotel was under repair with no staff in sight to immediately receive or guide us. I walked into what seemed like the reception, saw no one and then looked further in, to see a lady who was the manager working on her system in her office. I introduced myself and had to ask her for guidance and help for parking and baggage. After 15 minutes of that, we checked in. I even paid up the additional extra bed charges for 2 days. As we were moving to our room, we saw that all the rooms were being renovated. Our's seemed to be the only one ready. On asking about the pool the manager said that it was being renovated too. Basically apart from meals in our room or the dining area, the rest of the hotel was unusable. On confronting the manager, she said she had informed us and it was updated on the website. Both NOT TRUE, which I double checked. She offered no compensation or even explanation. That's when we got upset and I asked for some reparation of what was an obvious con. She was unapologetic and almost indifferent! Long story short, we took care of our own comfort. I insisted on a refund, which was promised with no timeline. Refund of the extra bed was offered too of the day we were staying and the next, but the manager refused to commit in a mail. The next morning despite assurance of a formal mail about the refund as payment was not immediately possible, there was nothing. After insisting, a short mail was sent promising 1 day's refund. We checked out at 10.30am. After about 2 days, 1 day's + 2 days additional bed charges refund was done Throughout the stay there were no efforts to make us comfortable. The breakfast was lack lustre and just average with runny scrambled eggs. Definitely not going to trust the Neemrana brand again. Beautiful property, horrible management.
