Regarding the facilities, I need to pay by my own self for the car parking service. They are charging RM 24 per day and I am staying for 4 days 3 nights. Do you think how much I need to pay for the car parking which they never stated that visitors or customers need to paying by ourselves. I hope that in the future, please stated very clearly that we need to paying by ourselves without inform us.

I’ve always wanted to spend a day at Lone Pine Penang, and I’m so happy I finally got the chance to experience it. 🤍 Everything about the stay was lovely, from the beautiful colonial-inspired surroundings and charming architecture to the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful service. The whole place feels like a little escape from the busy world, with such a timeless and whimsical charm. It was exactly the kind of place I had imagined it would be, and getting to slow down and enjoy a day here felt really special. Definitely a stay I’ll remember and a place I’d love to return to someday. ✨

PARKROYAL Penang Resort is well-known for its breakfast. We stayed for two days; we couldn't wake up in time on the first day, but we made sure to set an alarm for the second day. Indeed, there was a wide variety and the quality was quite good. Although the hotel isn't as massive as some other resort hotels, the facilities are quite complete and the ecosystem is fantastic—we saw squirrels, monkeys, and all kinds of birds. The service attitude was also exceptional. I had a mix-up and accidentally selected cash on delivery for my Grab order, but I didn't have any cash on me. I ended up asking a staff member for help, and he was just so kind! I'm so grateful! There is a huge swing in the hotel; swinging on it while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore was incredibly therapeutic. In the evening, you can take a walk to the nearby beach where there are fire-dancing performances and plenty of beachside shops where you can eat while watching the show.

Overall, everything was pretty good. While the rooms and hotel facilities are a bit dated, it is an established hotel, and the overall maintenance is quite good, reflecting the quality of a traditional hotel. The resort atmosphere is excellent, with a relaxed and comfortable environment, perfect for slowing down and getting some good rest. The service was generally quite attentive, with friendly staff and smooth communication throughout my stay. The dining was decent overall; the selection was reasonably rich, and both the taste and quality were good, satisfying my needs during the vacation. Although the hardware facilities aren't the newest, the overall experience was still quite comfortable, and the ambiance of an established resort hotel was definitely present.

The overall experience at Hard Rock Hotel Penang was great. My girlfriend had a hotel massage, and she found the techniques professional and comfortable. There was also a discount at the time, making it excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and tasted delicious. The hotel pool is spacious and perfect for kids, with direct access to the beach. The beach itself is large; although the sea water isn't the cleanest, it's great for taking photos. The room design is trendy and distinctive. The only minor downside is that parts of the hotel are currently undergoing renovation. There was no noise, but construction areas occasionally appeared in photos. Overall, it's still highly recommended.

The best feature of this hotel is its direct beachfront location. Our room had an absolutely perfect, completely unobstructed view of the ocean.. The pool faces the cafe, so we could easily watch the kids swim while enjoying breakfast. The room cleanliness needs improvement, and the mattress was way too hard for a comfortable sleep..

The hotel is big, family oriented and kids friendly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only hiccups, they handle my luggage and was sent to the wrong room. I had to make a call to and fro to check on my luggage. Bellhop keep asking what colour is my bag. In the end my husband had to go down to collect our luggage. Housekeeping didnt throw away the rubbish. I booked with a special request birthday trip and the management gave us a complimentary small birthday cake. Thank you for the kind gesture, appreciate it. We had a best birthday staying at the resort. The place is quite and safe at night. A lot of halal food to explore around the resort area. Only if want to go out to town its a long drive and traffic is heavy. Thank you Shangri-La Golden Sand for making our stay memorable.

Excellent service, friendly staff and the room are clean and comfortable with the sea view. I could sense their enthusiasm and dedication in serving guests. I could really feel their enthusiasm and dedication to serving guests, get a piece of welcome biscuits. It was my birthday on the day of check-in; my husband had specifically informed the hotel staff before check in and they kindly decorated the room a little for the occasion and a slice of cake by room service . In next day morning we going for breakfast ,the staff wished me happy birthday . so grateful

Came to Penang to visit a friend, and decided to look for a hotel. Ended up finding this one. Although there were a few tiny ants here and there in the room occasionally, overall it was quite tidy and clean. The breakfast was the best – it varied slightly each day, with self-service noodles, curry, and Western options. There's a gym and a swimming pool. When I booked, it was part of a flight-inclusive package, so the price was excellent.
