Hotel Beach di Penang, Malaysia

My bedroom wad super noisy, next to a road, I could hear the trafic all day long. It was better during the night. The management gave me a quiet bedroom me for my second night as it was full for the first night. The court was dirty but they sent someone to clean it, change the bedsheet with stains and repair the broken tap. The bottles of shower soap are tricky as the straw is too short. The bathroom can be locked from outside as you can see on pictures. There are 2 marts next door, thai food and rôti stall. The bedroom doesn't look like the pictures I saw on the page.

View from the apartment was amazing and just need to look through the window and you see the blue sky and ocean. Just that the apartment they gave us has 3 rooms and if you book 2 rooms they will locked up the one of the room. The issue is that when we checked in they just let the 3rd room open and we thought we could used it until the security guard came and knock the door and said he has to lock up one of the rooms.

Location : This location is very superb. The seaview was astonishing. Food stalls are everywhere nearby. Services : Arrived late night to check in. The receptionist is not that helpful and not explaining much. Got some issues with breakfast where my room suddenly not breakfast included while we paid together for it when booking. Try to explain to the Indian F&B manager but at first he refuse to trust me and ask me to go to lobby. Thanks to Mr Vincent he sincerely apologise for the misunderstanding from the system. To the Indian F&B manager, you need to learn to apologise sincerely from Mr Vincent and learn some manners as I heard you talk bad about other customers as well. Food : Not much choice but the food was good. Overall, will be coming back in the future and I wish the services will be a lot better. TQ

everything is ok.. the breakfast food is delicious while eating you can see the sea.. the view is beautiful.. the location is good.. the beach is close to the hotel.. only the cleanliness is a little lacking in the room.. the bed sheet is dirty but a little.. the worst thing is the smell of the pillow is a bit less pleasant.. hope the hotel can make improvements

It was superb during our stay at Gurney Bay Hotel! Thanks to the team for preparing an anniversary cake and decoration for us. A thing to highlight that they have also prepared the baby cot as per requested before our arrival❤️ They also prepare a cute Christmas gift for us. Location: the hotel is near to those attraction with great food and 3D art museum. Also, there is a nice park just opposite the hotel. It is really a relaxing trip staying at this hotel and will definitely come back again!

Staff very friendly & helpful. It just that the room can be quite noisy when it's raining & it just happen to be thunderstorm the day we go there. The room also got leaking everywhere but the staff really helpful that they try to help us with our thing

Our experience at this hotel was great. The rooms were comfortable, the environment was clean, and the service was good. Most importantly, all of my family members enjoyed the stay and felt relaxed and happy throughout our time here. It was a memorable family trip, and we would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

I have upgrade my room to 1bedroom suite. My family and I love the room. My kids enjoy the bathtub. Hotel location is good too as it is near to the airport. It only cost me about RM14 by taking grab from hotel to airport. Will definitely book again..

Facilities and service is very good but buffet breakfast very bad. Curry for roti jala very salty. Nasi lemak the rice tasteless. No coconut lemak taste. Chef Suppose to taste first before being serve to the guests. Breakfast very limited variety of food. Roti Canai also don't have. I love the room and the pool but the breakfast horrible. The road side foodstall and cafe is better taste. I recommend eat outside.

Breakfast many variety and many people and crowded. Hotel located 15mins from airport. However it is out of town. First time tourists is not advisable to stay there. Surrounding with restaurant in Malay village. You can hear the mosque pray time in the Morning and evening. We choose to stay here for the pool access experience and we need to attend the wedding. The room is very spacious and long. Good with big family as there are 2 king size beds, indoor bathtub, small pools facing the sea, sauna room, jacuzzi seem not working. We check-in early and we didn’t face to long queue. During 5pm, we saw many family are queueing to get the room. The facilities are great for young children - board games, indoor playground, swimming pools. The hotel is front of the beach but unable to swim. You also can see some village boat parking there.
