I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made a big difference during my trip. One small moment that really stayed with me: the housekeeping staff noticed that I brought my laptop with and kindly gave me a relaxing eye mask so I could rest my eyes after work. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The room was cleaned everyday and the towels were replaced regularly, everything was always fresh and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of food, and the location is perfect — very convenient for exploring the city. I traveled to Wuhan solo, and this hotel made the trip feel incredibly comfortable and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home and made my stay in Wuhan one of my best travel experiences! Overall this very good hotel with nice facilities. However I experience two incidents which downgraded service rank. On the first day in the restaurant person was smoking close to our table - should be separate area for smokers and nonsmokers, no reaction from personel. On the 2nd day when taking short clip of the cook preparing the meal, I was approached by the personel and asked not to record the staff, in other hotels staff is definitely more welcome to guests recording or taking photos. Not here.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much fir a 1-night stop over. A straight forward hotel that is mainly catered for business travelers and only 4km away from the train station, this hotel provided me with utmost comfort, amazing hospitality service and is strategically located within shops and eateries out of the noisy CBD area. It was also just a road away from a beautiful park facing Yangtze River. The breakfast was amazingly wonderful. Thank you Holiday Inn Express for making my stay at Yichang so comfortable.

We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. Quite a pleasant stay in this hotel. Smooth and quick check-in and out. Easy access to this hotel by MTR Line 4 from Wuhan Railway Station. You can reach the hotel directly by Exit J via B2 carpark. But be noted that it is available only on weekdays from 10:00 to 20:00. The hotel also offers signature Wuhan delicacies for breakfast. Thanks to Housekeeping team on 50th floor. They took quick action and responded promptly to our request.

While in China this is my 7th hotel. By far, the most attentive and kindles reception I had. Although I don’t speak any chinese, they made a real effort to remove the language barrier and ensure I have a great experience.

Hotel located opposite the dock and next to Wanda Plaza which saved us the trouble to get a taxi to move around. We took the cruise from Chongqing, needed to stay 1 night and returned to Chongqing by high speed rail the next day. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Got us a 9 seater vehicle to send us to the railway station. The river view bedroom is spacious. Hotel common area has been renovated, lift lobby marble was polished and corridors with new carpets. Bedroom curtains and armchairs are dark brown velvet which i think are old design, replace it with lighter shade of beige will makes it look more modern. The bathroom floor needs polishing & grouting.
