Hotel Boutique di Hunan, China

I don’t really have much pictures, but the hotel was very clean, the air con and everything else was working perfectly fine. The best thing about this hotel was how kind and extremely helpful the staff were, held my luggage, came back to tell them I’ll take a little longer and eating nearby. They gave me a portable charger. And they planned a full itinerary to enable me to complete Grand Canyon Park, Tienmanshan, and the National Forest park in 2 days. Only thing to note, is that the rooms usually have 2 beds minimum so it’s perfect for groups.

Great service from the hotel staff, especially Qing Qing. She was very welcoming and helped us purchase tickets for the Tuo River tour. She also assisted us in getting a taxi to a Muslim-friendly restaurant located about 2km from the hotel. We even received a complimentary gift during check-out, which was a lovely touch . The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the view from our room window was beautiful. The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle rides to the Fenghuang entrance several times a day, which was very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Sambutan di kaunter hadapan sangat mesra dan cekap, urusan daftar masuk pantas dan lancar. Bilik bersih dan kemas, cadar katil selesa, membuatkan tidur lena sepanjang malam. This hotel is worth every cent, the rooms are clean and tidy with beautiful decor. It is nicely located close to the entrance of the town and provides an amazing view to the waterfalls. I would totally recommend a visit to this place; The best part was how helpful and attentive the staff is providing ease to schedule transport to and fro the station, notes about the town and helping carry all the luggage

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed, which made us feel comfortable right away. The breakfast was also very good, and overall the hotel offers great value for the money. The location was convenient as well — about a 15–20 minute walk to the cable car for Mount Tianmen, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it very easy to get around and find everything we needed. What stood out the most, though, was the kindness of the reception staff. When we lost one of our phones on the street, the girls at the front desk went above and beyond to help us by speaking in Chinese with a stranger who had found it. Their help and care made a stressful situation so much easier, and we are truly grateful for their support.

Wonderful stay! Everyone was really kind, organized both our airport pickup and the drop off back to the city for free (which we did not expect). And most importantly, spent time to design a one day itinerary for us so we could see the best parts of the park with limited time. The place is only a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance which was awesome! They also kindly upgraded us to the 360 degree view room, which was incredible. I posted the view from the terrace, really lovely to wake up to this view every morning. The one thing I would say is bring an eye mask. With all the lovely big windows it does get pretty bright early in the morning. It didn't bother us since we had to wake up early to visit the park. Overall I'd say it was perfect and pretty much everything we could've wanted

I was touched that 金水岸 hotel had read my special requests and actually tried to fulfill all of them, even though the hotel was full house on our arrival date. The staff even remembered that it was my sister's birthday and wished my sister a happy birthday! The room was much prettier than I expected, and even had a bidet in the toilet, which helps a lot as the hotel did not allow flushing of toilet papers into the toilet bowls (this is very common in such ancient cities). The hotel has an ideal location at the upstream of Tuo River. It is far away enough from all the loud music of the pubs that are located at the midstream, but still very walkable to the popular food spots and main ancient city. The view from the balcony is fantastic! We enjoyed our time admiring the view while having our brunch there. The hotel also has an amazing tea setup at the balcony which you can freely use. The hotel would be more perfect if it can provide free TV channels. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is coming to 凤凰古城.

This hotel is still under development. Was no rooftop at that time, some area were still like a construction site, and my room windows gave to the vegetation sides... and the garbage there. Still, still, still... it was a really nice stay ! The room quality is great, modern and comfortable. And the hotel is INSIDE the 72 Qilou area ! Which means that you can have a hell lot of fun in the evening: music, photos, shows, illuminations,.... a theme park, sure, but it is a pretty fun one imo. Most sounds will end pretty early (before midnight, i think around 10~11pm), so you can still find some sleep. It's a good idea for a one night experience imo.

This hotel was truly excellent, and probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in with regard to the quality of the rooms, and especially the quality of the service provided. The building: reception, interior, balcony, and rooms themselves, are all extremely modern, well maintained, and have lots of technology such as automatic curtains, voice control (in Chinese only), large televisions, big windows, EXCELLENT air conditioning, robot food delivery, in-room alarms, electronic light controls, modern electric toilets, and even more that I won't list here. The hotel also has on-site free laundry service (self-service but the detergent is provided), gym, and a very good breakfast. The location of the hotel is very good, and we found it convenient for everything we wanted to do, including being only a short walk (or Didi) from the city centre, and only 10 minutes walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car. However, the true stand out of our stay was the service. It was my birthday during the stay, and the hotel decorated the room with balloons, provided a cake, happy birthday lettering in Chinese, and made sure that the surprise was kept from me until my partner arrived to be there with me to receive it. I would like to especially thank Xiao Li for helping to arrange everything during our stay, and all of the staff that were involved in our care. The service was truly outstanding and far beyond what I have received at five star hotels in the past. They were quick to reply to any WeChat message and no request was inconvenient for them. We really felt looked after. We booked the mini-suite and this room was incredible. Extremely spacious, with two toilets, a living room, a bedroom, a hallway, a LARGE amount of storage space and cupboards, two televisions, a bath, a shower, a fridge, and three sinks for washing. This was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in and we were so sad to leave. There was no smell of smoke in the hotel at any point. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so special.

This hotel blew it out of the water for us. They made our trip to Zhangjiajie a million times better than it would have been if we had stayed elsewhere. It all started 2 months before our stay. Our hotel butler reached out to me via WeChat and answered all the questions we had about everything. I told our butler that we would be arriving at 9pm and she arranged for a vehicle to pick us up from the airport. The cost was 100 yuan which is a bit steeper than a Didi but I felt it was well worth it since the drive is more than 30 minutes and we were able to guarantee that all our luggages would fit. A week before our stay she reached out to us and asked if we needed to book tickets for tianmendong and for zhangjiajie forest. She booked both for us with the times we wanted and said we could pay her once we arrived. I double checked the prices and they were exactly the same as what we would have paid if we booked it ourselves. But with her help everything went very smoothly. The day before we arrived, the driver called me and confirmed that he would pick us up from the airport. The second our flight arrived, he called and confirmed that he was waiting at the gate. Once we came out, he was standing there with a sign with my name on it. It was all very cute and he parked somewhere convenient for us to get picked up. The drive over was smooth and efficient. Our butler also confirmed that she saved us afternoon tea and would have congee ready for us as well. Service was already excelling beyond control at this point. Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in with her on the first floor and she gave us a quick rundown of the facilities and everything. When we arrived in our room, it was clean and the bed were nice and big. I also liked that they use Jo Loves for their toiletries. The afternoon tea and congee came up shortly after we walked in. Our room faced this courtyard that was beautiful. Felt like we were living in a fairytale. I liked that the blinds were automatic which was great. They also have a Xiao Du assistant that can help control blinds, temperature and the TV as well. Love the technology. My only complaint about this hotel is that it gets a bit hot at night. You need to have the aircon on and the window open in order to be at a decent temperature. Breakfast was another highlight. The chef who also takes away the dishes, is super friendly and so is the auntie who makes the noodles. He was so nice and even made tomato egg when we requested it. The bread etc. Wasn't that great BUT the Chinese dishes he made were all really good. Theres this pork rib dish he makes that is so good. For all 4 days that we stayed there, the food he made was different. Another great function they have was the robot delivery service. Yes they delivery food but also they have a QR code with products that they have available for free. For example you could order a feet soaking tub (great for long days) and you could also order face washing clothes, one time use underwear, rain jackets. Basically anything you could think of, they probably have. The afternoon tea and the congee is available everyday so keep that in mind for days you can't find any decent food outside. We noticed that they had traditional clothing available and so I asked the butler about it. All you need to do is book a timeslot with them and they have a photographer come in and take photos of you. The photographer in the end ended up taking 120 photos of the 3 of us. She was so professional. She edits around 5 for you and the rest are just raw which is great. Location wise, this hotel is perfect if you are visiting zhangjiajie forest. The south entrance is literally right there. Like 2 minute walk. It's literally right next to the south exit too. There's a KFC nearby which is great and also a Chagee. If you walk one street down there are tons of eateries. Overall: this hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
