Hotel Dengan Sarapan pagi di Baden-Wurttemberg, Jerman

Beim Austritt aus dem Fahrstuhl in den Flur ist die Richtungsangabe der Zimmer um ca.1m versetzt. Im Zimmer unter der Bettdecke lag ein ca. 30cm langes Haar und unter der Clobrille befand sich ein brauner Spritzer. Am Frühstücksbuffett war der Getränke-Automat für Orangensaft nicht nutzbar, hier hätte man Orangensaft in Flaschen hinstellen können. Die Butter war so hart, daß sie nicht streichbar war. Am Besteckkasten auf dem Tisch hing rote Marmelade, die mindestens noch vom Vortag war, da wir bereits um 6.15 Uhr gefrühstückt haben.

I had a one night stay at this property and it was a mix bag.  Some highlights  - staff in general were friendly  - accessibility to the hotel is good - via public transportation and if you have your own car, there is street parking available and in the shopping centre.  Parking in the hotel's garage is on the expensive side of 17.50€ per night - rooms were spacious and clean - water pressure and temperature was good Some improvement points - bathroom size was on the small side, also found that the location of the towel cabinet in the bathroom to be quite dangerous/harzadous as it's placed within a small space area opposite the toilet bowl which if not careful you can potentially hit your head while getting up at the corner of the cabinet - zero recognition or care as a HHonors elite.  This has to be one of the first property in Germany or anywhere that matters, not offered any complimentary bottle of water in the room.  When I went to request for this after check-in at the reception, they initially was happy to bring me one, but later informed that I had to pay for it as I had the points as the option.  I find this pretty sad as it does not even cost €1 for a bottle. - again like a lot of other properties, no minibar in the room and the temperature control in the room was not the best when wanting to cool down the room. The only reason I would return to this property is because of the location, but if I had a car, I would most probably stay back at the Hilton Garden Inn Neckkerpark property which I had much better experience. 

Its close to the station but couldnt hear trains or traffic so that was ok. So its a good location. But thats all there is. The hotel is dirty, small rooms and the cleaning people start cleaning early. So if you still sleeping you gonna wake up hearing the vacum cleaner....plus its way too expensive for what you get...i wouldnt stay there again

Close to city center; public transportation next door; strong beds with descent matras; bathroom in the room; storing food/drinks in fridge was no problem BUT Staff is not familiar with procedures and way of working: * Booked breakfast at reception on arrival; didn’t receive the necessary QR-code and/or our name/room number was not on the list of the staff * Made reservation for parking; reply form hostel was, that this is available and we just have to ring the bell to enter the parking and at the reception we’ll pay during our check-in; when we rang the bell, the staff member told me to check in fiets; at the check-in the other staff member, who checked us in, told us that we can ring the bell next time :-s

We were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!

Close Proximity to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (train station, just approximately 8 minutes walk). I am amazed at the complete furniture, even microwaves to cook our breakfast for the following day. More like an apartment than just a hotel. Nice stay

I travel a lot and usually dont care about the exterior of the Hotels but the inside and staff is important. Worker at the desk was very polite and skilled when i checked in. When i entered the room... abt 300 Euro a night! To say its old to say nothing - like in the old good USSR times in Moscow, Sankt Petersburg, DDR side of Berlin! 40 years ago, what a nostalgic feeling, smell of old carpet, never cleaned AC. Had to open window to get fresh air insine. Paint art on the wall by Natalie Goller - Innenraum Rußland. Was für ein Zufall! For 300 Euro a night! First evening at the Restaurant i choose Wiener Schnitzel with salad and French fries 🍟. My first Wiener Schnitzel ever and never ever if this piece of smashed to 3 mm dry pork was the real Wiener Schnitzel then sorry... Only good thing was the salad. At the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Breakfast was outstanding, nothing special at the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Asked in the morning if they do laundry the answer was - no, but whae i asked again at the desk in an hotel for 300 Euro a night the lady called someone and repeated what he heard on the other side of the line - laundry is the responsibility of the guests. Means do your self At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Finally me and the lady on the desk figured out that the hotel does outsource the laundry to a third party company. Duration - few days, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Complimentary water only upon arrival, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Kettle, tea in room? Deam on! At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! What doesn't kills us makes us laughing 😆 At the hotel For 300 Euro a night!

Das schlechteste und mieseste Hotel in dem ich je war!!!! Gebucht direkt über die Homepage. Und damit fing es auch schon an!!!! Nach der Buchung bekam ich KEINE Bestätigung via Mail zugeschickt. Erst nach 2 maliger Aufforderung an die angeführte E-Mail Adresse. Angekommen im Hotel wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es kein warmes Wasser gibt aufgrund diverser Probleme. Das Schwesternhotel wurde uns angeboten, jedoch waren wir schon den ganzen Tag unterwegs und erschöpft und wollten einfach nur auf unser Zimmer. Das Schwesternhotel wäre ca. 30 Minuten weiter entfernt gewesen. Habe dann das Wasser getestet, es war kalt/lauwarm. Zum schnell abduschen für uns ok, allerdings nicht für den vollen Preis. Die Rezeptionistin bot an 1 Frühstück gratis, ich stimmte nicht zu und wollte den Chef sprechen. Der wäre nicht da und auch nicht verfügbar. Ich hätte sonst bis 18:00 Zeit dann verfällt die Reservierung oder ich soll mir halt ein anderes Hotel suchen!!! Wahnsinn das ganze und sowas von unfreundlich! Dann ging sie mit dem handy für einige Minuten weg. Nach langem hier und her einigten wir uns auf minus 50% auf die 2. Nacht. War ok für mich. Dann ging die Diskussion aber weiter. Die Rezeptionistin hatte keinerlei Informationen über meine Buchung bzw Preis für 2 Nächte und wollte mir dann einen höheren Preis das Frühstück nochmal extra dazu rechnen!!! Irre war das und einfach nur eine Frechhheit!!! Zeigte ihr dann meine Bestätigung der Buchung für 2 Nächte inkl. Frühstück. Aber rechnen konnte sie trotzdem nicht! Das Frühstück war ok, mehr nicht. Brot teilweise vom Vortag, Joghurt mit eingetrockneten Rändern! Sonst kaum Auswahl und sehr überschaubar. KEIN Safe im Zimmer!!! Auch darauf hatte die Rezeptionistin keine Antwort! Zimmer war sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Bad mit Dusche und vertrecktem Duschvorhang! Alles in Allem: furchtbarer Aufenthalt! Dringend davon abgeraten!!!

We were in Freiburg for vacation and a lot of the other hotels were really expensive. This hotel was reasonably priced, so we booked four rooms between 2 families, and I am glad we did. The hotel was nice and clean, and fairly close to some restaurants and a train station that can take you to the down town area. What made this hotel a great stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. They almost all spoke English well and interacted in a very positive way. If we are in the area again, we will stay here.

Had a 6.00am flight out of Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport at the end of our short break, so this hotel was brilliant. It is literally across the street. The 285 hourly bus from Baden Baden takes you to the doorstep. Quick registration and we were up in our room. Clean and spacious - no frills; it is just to stay one night before or after your early/late flight. One complaint.... the mattress was as hard as nails. Considering you only pay for hotels like these to sleep the night, it is always a mystery to me why hotels don't invest in a proper high quality mattress.

1) Paid £456 for 1 night stay (increased prices during football tournament). Have been told by hotel manager via ******* that I do not meet the conditions for a refund! 2)Journey started from Glasgow at 3am 3)Arrive hotel 11am 4) Not permitted to check in at 3pm - stated policy check in time 5) Not even permitted to check in at 6:30pm. 6) Not permitted to use any property facilities other than the public area toilets (No spa, shower, pool, no bed to sleep in until 11pm) that we had paid for 7) Due to attending the football game, we were not permitted to access our room until 11pm!! 8) Arrive to the room to find feather bedding despite requests for hypoallergenic bedding (sister has allergy and asthma). 9) 30mins later - we were given duvets without covers and one thin pillow each. 10) No sofa bed as stated online so had to share a bed which resulted in 11) Hours sleep as a result 3hours in 36hrs 12) Too exhausted from the day before to get up in time for breakfast. 13) No offer of even a free drink at the bar but they were happy to let us spend it. 14 ) All of this and I have been told I don't meet the conditions for a partial or full refund. I knew something was strange when I was sent an email (attached) the previous night telling me not to come to the hotel until after the Euro football game that was taking place that day. I thought there must have been some sort of mistake so… Arrived at the property 11am, to be told we couldn’t check in. Our room wasn't ready. I was of course understanding of this given it was fully booked the night before. We went to get food with the intention of having 2 hours sleep before the football game and an early the next day. It transpired that the hotel had been booked by UEFA for the Scotland team. We should have been found alternative accommodation but unfortunately they have taken a huge room fee as well as the huge amount of money that UEFA must have paid them to treat their normal guests like cattle. We left the hotel exhausted and after having given the opportunity for them to rectify this situation, you have told ******* that I do not meet the conditions for a refund!! Only thing I can say is the reception and bar staff did their best to keep our spirits up and let us charge our phones. I certainly did not use £456 pounds worth of electricity though.Sleep deprivation ruined what should have been a good end to an amazing stay in Germany.

Мега комфортный отдых в отеле Le Meridien Роскошный отель недалеко от самого центра города, до которого можно дойти через зеленый городской парк. Очень вежливый и приветливый персонал. Новые и просторные номера с потрясающей шумоизоляцией. Очень тихо и совсем не слышно звуков с улицы, даже в тех номерах, которые выходят на оживленную проезжую часть. Хороший и большой бассейн, фрукты, вода и чай к вашим услугам. Потрясающий и очень разнообразный завтрак: блюда на любой вкус - блины, вафли, выпечка, колбасы и рыба, омлеты и свежевыжатые фреши и смузи. Лучшее место в городе!

We didn’t have a good first impression as the room wasn’t cleaned when we entered after getting the key from the check-in desk. We were asked to wait while they cleaned it, but since it was already late (6 PM), we requested a room change. Aside from the initial issue, everything else was just okay.

Perfekte Lage zu den Öffis. Sehr ansprechende Einrichtung und super freundlicher Service, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch in der Bar abends. Es wurde auch nicht gemurrt, dass wir zum Fussball schauen nur noch einen kleinen Snack bestellt haben. Im Gegenteil, wir wurden so freundlich bedient wie bei einer Hauptmahlzeit. 100 % ihr Weiterempfehlung.

Lovely hotel to look at both outside and in. However there is nowhere to stop in front of the hotel to drop bags and check in. The hotel does have a parking arrangement with private parking building at the back but you can't park there until you check in. I dropped my wife then drove around until I found a park on the street, not easy as it is a busy part of town. In our case they had used up their allocation of carparks so our options were other public carparks, the first one was full the hotel then directed us to another, it was close but still resulted in a short walk back to the hotel in the rain, not ideal. Desk clerk was apologetic but that doesn't change the fact that this is not a good hotel to arrive at in a car. The rooms are designer, but so designer that there is no practical solution to open a bag on other than the floor, which is ok if travelling light but no good if you have bags bigger than a carryon. So, a great hotel if you don't arrive by car and have small luggage, if that's not the case then be prepared for a frustrating arrival and settle in.

Very nice hotel, location good as well. Near by a big mall which is convenient to buy food and everything what is needed. Hotel has everything as well, even laundry (for free) 😏

Sind in den letzten Jahren gelegentlich hier gewesen. Unter neuem Namen hat sich nicht so viel verändert. Die Reservierung klappt wie immer perfekt. Wenn keine Großveranstaltungen in der Gegend stattfinden, sind günstige Preise und Angebote verfügbar. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto in die Tiefgarage geht gut, dann muss man allerdings in der riesigen Tiefgarage des Einkaufszentrums den richtigen Ausgang finden. Das Hotel ist nicht zentral in Stuttgart, sondern im Vorort, die Anbindung mit der S-Bahn (5-10 min Fußweg) ist auch abends gut. Empfang und check-in schnell, höflich, unkompliziert. Zimmer und Bad sind sauber, und funktionell, aber kein Luxus. Manche Zimmer zur Hauptstraße können bei geöffnetem Fenster recht laut sein. Zur anderen Seite schläft man aber sehr ruhig. Im Sommer kann es in den Zimmern je nach Lage und Sonneneinstrahlung auch warm werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war immer sehr gut, zur Zeit wird die Auswahl durch die Gesundheitslage deutlich eingeschränkt, aber immer noch ist die Qualität akzeptabel. Wer sich der Lage bewusst ist, für den ist die Übernachtung hier ihren Preis wert.

We were only staying here one night and chose this hotel as it seemed to be in a good location for visiting the Mercedes Benz and Porsche Museums. We had stayed at other Adina Hotels and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, can't say the same about this one. For a start it was difficult to find. Our GPS was giving us the runaround. Finally, we saw a temporary banner displayed indicating the Adina's location. There were roadworks and an excavation site opposite the entrance. At reception we were given instructions on where to locate the parking. Adina had their own allocated car spaces at the adjoining shopping centre's car park, so it was not straightforward. Finally, we got to our room which was fine, and the beds were quite comfortable, however we noticed there was only half a roll of toilet paper with no other spare in sight and only one bath towel. On calling reception regarding the missing towel, I was told I could pick one up from reception. As it was late, I asked if it could be dropped to our room and was told they would do so, however that never happened. We declined breakfast as we thought it was far too expensive even though reception did offer a discount of 20 euros each. Apparently, it is cheaper if prebooked online. On the upside, on checkout we asked for some advice on directions and the receptionist went to some trouble and he emailed a link to us which was quite helpful.

Positive things first : - Fast elevators - Big Room - Lots of seating possibilities in room - Bathroom with shower separate from Toilet - Big bed - Nice lightning - Lots of storage Now the negative things: - Can't close the curtains properly - so it's quite light ( especially as the building in front of us had the lights on... ( maybe add some clips on the wall where we could clip the curtains in ). - Very soft pillows ( like really soft xD ) - It wasn't mentioned anywhere that the Parking is NOT in the same building. Really inconvenient as you have to walk over a high speed big street, then 2 floor down to find your car - not really ideal if with Luggage or if you have difficulties to walk. Otherwise it was a great stay :)

I went to this hotel for a celebration trip to Stuttgart with my boyfriend which sadly became a disastrous experience because of this hotel. Here is what happened and exactly why you should never stay there. The first reason to avoid this hotel is that you can be robbed by other guests even in private spaces. On day one my Chanel classic flap handbag (worth today over €10,500.00) was stolen in the morning (around 9h30) from the hotel breakfast room located on the 10th floor and frequented exclusively by hotel guests. The handbag was covered by two jackets so, totally hidden from sight or so we thought. We were also sitting about 2 to 3 meters away from the staff controlling that the room was only accessed by other paying guest so, we felt safe. While we stood up to get breakfast a few meters away the handbag was stolen from under its hidden place and the jackets carefully displayed in the exact same way as i had left them. So, when we returned to the table we noticed nothing. We only noticed the bag was missing when we got up to leave and realized that under the jackets there was no handbag, it was stolen, and with it all my identification documents, health insurance cards, credit card, drivers license, house keys and phone were gone. We reported this to the staff immediately and to our surprise, the lady who stood at the door checking the guests room numbers making ‘sure0 that only guests were permitted on the preceding denied that i had a bag. She said it clearly “you didn’t have a bag” and “I didn’t see you with a bag”. This was a very strange reaction for when a guest reports the theft of a very valuable assets with all personal identification in it in such hotel.Eventually we showed her a photo of me wearing the bag we had just taken on the lift on our way down to breakfast. So she excused herself and helped us complain on the hotel reception desk who had lovely but, overworked staff (more on this later). The second reason to avoid this hotel completely is the management’s lack of knowledge on costumer service, the total absence of management skills directed to the client’s experience and total unaccountability. It’s hotel management, not Switzerland: in urgent situations such as these, good management takes the costumer’s side and offers support. After the report was made, requests to checked CCTV and a formal report made with the Stuttgart police the hotel management was conspicuously absent. They did not send a note of apology, they did not send us some chocolates or offered a drink, not to mention a discount, nothing. Absolutely no effort was made by hotel management to acknowledge and even less to remedy the seriousness of the financial hit but, also psychological damage because loosing absolutely all access to ones personal documents is quite disturbing when abroad! Luckily my boyfriend could help me navigate through the rest of our holidays, but what if that hadn’t been the case? And what if we had left a small designer lugga

不愧是貴族家的產業，150年經營歷史。這個酒店是由幾幢房子圍起來的，因此中間有個帶噴泉的庭院，門頭很小，但裏面挺美。因為定了30平方米的雙人舒適房，比普通房型大10平米，所以特地注意了下，一開始給的是326號房間，有個陽台，但房間面積很小，及時下樓交涉，前台美女服務非常好，拿了另外二個房卡讓我自己選一個，我就挑了346，是個拐角的房間，比之前的大了很多，廁所和洗澡間是單獨分開的二間，非常好，還有一個獨立的衣帽間，房間窗户正對着小花園，非常美。因為酒店是由幾幢房子組合在一起，所以她們也解釋了一下，每個房間和户型都不同。下次辦入住的時候可以提出自的喜好。早餐非常棒，是我這次德國行最好的一次體驗，當然房間價格也是最貴的。第一次見到酒店服務生比客人都多的酒店，早餐上就有酒水免費提供，這是我唯一碰到的一個。貴族開的酒店就是不一樣，每個細節都注意到了，一入住就進來插了鮮花，送了小甜點和歡迎卡片，各種細節真的讓人從心底感受到愉悦！

At the last minute we decided to visit Heidelberg on our travel through the Rhine. When our first choice hotel was booked we decided not to do the Hilton or Marriott and chose the Suites. What a great decision . Sonia’s welcome was amazing- it is hard to find such enthusiasm these days. She loves the hotel and the city and it showed ! The room was meticulously decorated and our only wish was for a firmer mattress. I loved the white company toiletries. I felt at home! Breakfast was filled with well presented fruit , breads and pastries and more. Top quality but not over the top. And the staff were do friendly and warm . The hotel is situated across from the river. Perfect for going to the Old Town . A great spot for your Heidelberg stay.

Overall a very fine hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good location if you are planning on traveling by train or FlixBus since you are very close to their stations. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and well operated. We also ate once for dinner ate at the hotel restaurant and the hamburgers and fries are exceptional. (We had young adults in our group.) The Executive Lounge has a great view of the river if you have access. One warning. If you need an accessible bathroom, this is NOT the place for you. The showers are old school in a high wall bath tub. The other caution is the location is not adjacent to the Old Town. You may need to use buses, trams, or Uber/taxicab.

レセプションの対応はとても良かったです。立地は観光エリアまで20分くらい歩きますが、フランクフルト等への電車が止まる中央駅には近く、スーツケースを持っての移動が楽でした。アメニティは自分でスマホから注文するのですが、スリッパ1つに1時間かかりました。またレセプション以外の従業員はあまり好印象ではありません。朝食もバイキングにプラスしてアラカルトメニューがあったようでお願いしたのですが、来ませんでした（結局食べてません)

Hotel a little too far to walk from the city centre with infrequent bus service. Staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable

The Atlantic hotel is a very good hotel. The rooms are nice, big and modern. The personnel is very friendly. I personally enjoyed the rich breakfast. Many options with a very high quality. From my perspective the breakfast was really worth the money. (Not expensive)

This is a very nice, business traveler type hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean. We had a couple of problems, though: 1) we reserved a room with twin beds, and we were given a room with the beds made up as one king bed—we couldn’t separate them and it was too late to get a different room; and 2) the lights in the hallway on our floor didn’t work until they were able to fix them the next morning (that was worrisome). There was some renovation going on which seems to explain the lighting issue. The hotel was about halfway between the train station and the old town, with a tram stop almost directly in front, so it was very convenient.

Colombi Hotel is a very modern, full service hotel located right on the edge of the Old Town. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the sights. Our room was modern, bright, clean and quiet. Any request we had was taken care of quickly. Staff was helpful, but business-like. Were there 4 days and the guy at the front desk was pleasant but not friendly. Breakfast was very good. Great choice of options, including vegan and health conscious options. Eggs to your preference can be ordered. Our only negative was the room temp and bedding. As the weather had cooled, they had shut off the AC. Had no ability to control our room temp. It was 20C. Had a hevy duvet on the bed and the first night we roasted! Requested a lighter duvet and even with that, we roasted. We were told to open the windows. But kitchen noise and street noise made that undesirable. Overall, lovely hotel in a great location.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer mit genug Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Steckdosen hatten USB-A Ports eingebaut. Auch zwei gute Sitzgelegenheiten im Zimmer. Die Betten waren bequem und das Zimmer sauber. Lediglich das riesige Bild einer Frau im Bad zunächst ungewöhnlich, nach kurzer Gewöhnungsphase dann aber auch in Ordnung. Das Bad war ebenfalls groß, genauso wie die Dusche. Sehr viel Platz für Kulturbeutel und Co zur Ablage. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Parken mit 19€ die Nacht vielleicht etwas teuer.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional. The room was impressively spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my stay. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming during check-in, setting a positive tone from the moment I arrived. Schönes Hotel mit allem nötigen für einen Kurztrip. Kaffee und Tee gab es gratis. Leider war die Dame beim vom Wochenende unfreundlich und erschwerte uns den Check-in. Wir hätten am liebsten sofort die Unterkunft storniert, was nicht möglich war. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren jedoch zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und wir haben den Aufenthalt dennoch genießen können.

The hotel is located in a lovely spot in the woods, with walking/trails and birds chirping, outside Freiburg. There is a large terrace to sit on for a drink or a meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful to provide a relaxing experience. I really enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffett. If you are looking to explore the area, it is situated on the way to Alsace so you can go into Freiburg and France quite easily. If you want a hotel right in Freiburg, this isn't it. And the highway is a bit close by so there is some sound, but usually the birds chirping was louder.

Mein Mann und ich waren das erste Mal im Hotel Stadt Freiburg und wir waren begeistert. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Hotel ist modern und hat eine großzügige Lobby. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber .Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche und auch hier wird man sehr freundlich umsorgt. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert - wir haben dort vorzüglich zu Abend gegessen und wurden auch hier sehr freundlich empfangen und durch den Abend begleitet. Alles in allem war unser 4-tägiger Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

My stay at Central Hotel Freiburg was extremely pleasant, the rooms are clean and all staff are very friendly and helpful, starting from the receptionists at the desk who always welcome you with a big smile, up to the waiters at the restaurant and the generator, who was very kind during my late night check out. Central Hotel Freiburg, you make your guests feel like staying home, and there is noting better you can do.

After getting off a long train ride and hauling luggage through the station, we were thrilled that Park Hotel Post was only 1 1/2 blocks from the station, an easy walk even with 2 weeks worth of luggage. The hotel is very comfortable, and has a scenic location next to a park with wine grapes growing. It was less than 5 minutes walk to the heart of the old town. The breakfast buffet was very good and got us off to a good start every day. Traveling with a friend, we got a twin room, and my only disappointment was the arrangement of the beds, as I couldn’t sit in bed and read the normal way. But the room was otherwise comfortable, very clean and had a closet for hanging clothes, something I appreciate as many hotels have done away with them. We also loved the town of Freiburg—it’s charming and surrounded by beautiful mountains.
