The location and cleanliness of the room are OK. It takes about 3 minutes to drive to the train station, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk. You need to enter the room with a password. If you arrive late, there is no one at the front desk, so you need to contact in advance. Ctrip only sent me a reservation form without a password. Later, a Finnish friend called in advance to ask for the password. It is mainly economical and affordable.

Hotel location is very good, very close to the bus station, outdoor activity center, the room is warm, the hotel service staff is very warm, the hotel has a free sauna and gym, the room is a bit old, the bathroom is a bit tide, but it is within acceptable range, very good

The service here is quite good, the staff in the recee will give you some useful advice if you ask, room is really awesome, geting a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast is also good.

The view from the hotel room is very close to zero point on foot. The breakfast in the restaurant is good. The spare parts I use are lumene, a Finnish national brand, which can save dry skin. One tube applied to the elbow is enough for a day. The breakfast in the restaurant is similar to the popcorn pancakes we used to make in line with rice when we were kids in China. There is a parking lot in the basement, which saves you the trouble of getting up early to clear the snow. It costs 20 euros to park for one night. There are many restaurants and ski shops on the commercial street. Very convenient.

Located in a ski resort, it's a fantastic ski hotel. Perhaps because it wasn't peak season yet, the hotel restaurant options were limited, but the food was surprisingly good, with no disappointments. It would be very convenient for ski enthusiasts.

The front desk is in a large house, decorated with many Christmas things. When I first opened the door to the room, there was a smell of wood, but it disappeared later. I thought the bathroom was quite clean, but the shower was limited to 13 minutes and there wasn't much hot water, so I didn't wash my hair for two nights. The bacon for breakfast is delicious. The environment nearby is very good, close to the sea and a small forest. It feels like Kemi is not big and there are not many people there, so I like it quite a bit. There is a supermarket nearby, and there are many restaurants on the beach. It was stuffy inside the cathedral. I didn’t see any gems in the Gem Museum, and the square in front was a flea market.

I recently had the privilege of staying at Apukka Resort in Rovaniemi, Finland, and it was undoubtedly the highlight of my Scandinavian journey. From the moment I arrived in this snowy wonderland, with daily temperatures around -7°C, to my cozy cabin room, everything about Apukka was simply amazing. Having to see the mesmerizing Northern Lights from my bed was a dream come true. The comfortable bed, warm water, and the delicious food served at the restaurant made each moment special. The view of the frozen lake was nothing short of magical; it felt like stepping into an AI painting turned real. Even in the cold, I had one of the best swing rides of my life with the view of the lake. As someone from warm and sunny Singapore, this escape to the cold was a unique and unforgettable experience. The reception team at Apukka was top-notch, and they even had a room ready for me when I arrived slightly earlier than check-in time, which was a great relief after my long journey from Copenhagen. But it wasn't just the accommodations and the views that made my stay exceptional. I also had the pleasure of experiencing a thrilling husky ride and learning about how these incredible dogs are trained from puppies to their role as working animals. The passion and knowledge of the guides who led this adventure were truly remarkable. The 'Meet the Reindeer' session was a delightful educational experience. I gained a newfound appreciation for these magnificent creatures and learned so much about their role in the local culture and environment. The guides who accompanied us during the husky and reindeer experiences were nothing short of amazing. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new dimension to the trip. Apukka Resort delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. The comfortable bed, the regular appearance of the Northern Lights, the enriching encounters with huskies and reindeer, and the exceptional guides all contributed to making this trip one of the best times of my life. Santa Claus Holiday Village Hotel – A Magical Stay in the Heart of Lapland I recently had the pleasure of staying at Santa Claus Holiday Village in Rovaniemi, and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a festive atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of Christmas. The accommodation was cozy, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Our cabin was spacious, featuring a private sauna—a perfect way to unwind after a chilly day outside. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities while still maintaining a charming, rustic feel. The location is unbeatable, situated right in the Santa Claus Village. It was incredibly convenient to visit Santa’s office, cross the Arctic Circle, and enjoy the various winter activities like husky sledding and reindeer rides. Plus, the breathtaking snowy landscapes made for unforgettable moments. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of hot and cold dishes, including traditional Finnish options. The on-site restaurants also provided delicious meals, with a cozy ambiance perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. It was an experience out of the world during our stay here. We arrived early wanting to drop our bags but they allowed us to check in early anyway as our room was ready. The cabin itself was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. The bathroom floor was heated which was nice. We got to even see the northern lights from our bed even though it only lasted for less than a minute. One thing to note is cabins are located quite near to one another and with the glass panels, you don't get total privacy. Make sure to request for a cabin off the stretch of main road to have more privacy. We had breakfast and dinner here. Options were quite limited but understandable given the location. All dishes were labelled clearly, and we had no issues as vegetarians. We even saw some neighbourhood squirrels enjoying their breakfast. The place is very modern and managed commercially as a business, with everything extra requiring extra charges (you may even pay for staff to pick up your bags from your cabin to the main reception, which is a 2-5 min walk affair). Despite this, we think it's still worth trying out for a night to have something that's different.

Seaside Glass Villa is a unique and memorable place to stay in Kemi. The hotel is conveniently located not far from the railway station, making it easy to reach, and it sits right next to a beautiful lake, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. One of the highlights of the villa is the glass ceiling. While lying in bed, you can look directly up at the sky, which creates a very special experience. Unfortunately, during our stay we were not lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. The weather was extremely cold, almost -30°C, and even inside the room, the temperature felt quite cool. We had to sleep wearing at least one layer of warm clothing. The overall atmosphere of the resort is calm and pleasant. The view from the bedroom is stunning, with the frozen lake right in front of you and a clear view of the sky, which feels truly impressive and unforgettable, especially in winter. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for guests. Despite the extreme cold, staying at Seaside Glass Villa was a unique experience, especially for those who enjoy nature, winter landscapes, and peaceful surroundings.

I caught the RV train from Helsinki, which was relaxing and a brilliant way to see the countryside. Arriving into Rovaniemi at 21:20, it was a short cab drive to the hotel,and with 24/7 reception checking was a breeze. Twin room 410 was well appointed, clean, and beds were comfortable; the room safe was easy to set and use. I appreciated the door chain for extra security and peaceful night sleep. Santas Hotel central location was excellent ,with the padestrian mall, shops, restaurants, and bars literally around the corner. Taxis could be found out front, and the santa/airport bus was only a short walk up the street. Though do pay attention to santa express pickup and drop-off times as they do not run that regularly. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone to enjoy! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel made my inner child smile.😊 There are many attractions, so be sure to give yourself enough time to experience everything. I will definitely choose to stay again next time I travel to Rovaniemi. Sha, Sydney, Australia. 🇦🇺

The hotel is located in the city center. Close to shopping malls and supermarkets. Nice breakfast and people. It's just 10mins walk to Arktikum Park where you have high chances of seeing the northern lights when the weather are clear.
