Was absolutely filthy because the room with the steam bath I would suggest bringing your own cleaner and making sure to clean the tub in the bathroom very well The bed was very comfortable though and yet the people behind the desk were yet very rude and very ignorant they had no manners at all and were very short with everyone

Spent 5 nights here and was very pleased. Staff were, without exception, pleasant, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Restaurant/bar served good range of food and drinks. Reasonably priced and tasty. One thing which puzzled me was that, having paid for breakfast in advance, I was left to serve myself from the drinks and buffet area. I had no problem whatsoever in doing so. However, over the course of several breakfasts, I noticed that a few other guests were served by the waiting staff. It was not clear why this was. The hotel has pleasant decor and good facilities, including pool and gym. However, it is slightly puzzling why it is called Holiday Inn:Calgary Airport, as it is not in close proximity to the airport in the manner one would usually expect. Which leads me to the only problem I have with this hotel; its shuttle bus. The IHG app indicated that a shuttle bus was available. Indeed, it provided information as to where the buses were to be found - with information relating to both international and domestic terminals. I went to the appointed place and waited and waited. No shuttle bus appeared. I was really keen to get to the hotel as I had arrived on an early morning flight from the U.S. Finally, after an hour, I called the hotel and spoke to someone who said he would transfer me to reception. The connection then dropped. At the same time, a driver from another hotel group informed me that one had to order the Holiday Inn shuttle. I telephoned again and, this time, was told that the shuttle bus would make its way to the airport to collect me. Which it did. By that time, I'd been standing outside the arrivals area for well over an hour. When I got to the hotel, reception staff told me that the requirement of ordering use of the shuttle in advance had been in place for about four years. That being the case, why for goodness sake doesn't the app, the website or the email one receives in advance of a stay tell people that! It was frustrating to the point of annoyance and really out of step with all other customer service/relations. I had the interesting experience of the hotel being evacuated one evening due to a fire alarm (found to be false). Staff seemed to handle the matter competently. It's reassuring that a Fire Station is very close by - much closer than the airport and the firefighters didn't have to wait for, or order, a shuttle bus.

Room was spacious and clean, definitely a new hotel. Restaurant downstairs was great for breakfast every morning, had delicious selections. Really like the big balcony too which you can view stars at night without light pollution. A bit of a walk / 5 min drive to main Banff town but not an issue. Great amenities in room and service was great too! Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly and got us the room we wanted with no issues. The rooms were very nice and clean. The large pool and hot tub area was a great place to relax after a long day of hiking. Would recommend!

Fantastic Hotel. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Property is very clean and well maintained. Location is excellent and the views are awesome. The beds are top quality and super comfortable. We are returning to the same property in 2 weeks and are really looking forward to it.

I liked the room that it had a tub in the bathroom and microwave and fridge as well. Very convenient for me. Breakfast was self serve with choices of cold and hot drinks, lots of fruits, yogurt in the fridge, cereals and choices of bread with a toaster at the end of the counter. The dining room area is large and sunny. Relaxing atmosphere. The checkin counter person was very helpful and at check out took the time to help me find my Wyndham membership account so I could earn my credit for staying there. Very pleasant experience over all.

Excellent service from even before checking in, rang for the shuttle from the airport arrived within 15mins, excellent driver loads of information and pleasant small talk. Lovely room Very welcome after a long day travelling and what a good night sleep. Breakfast was very good in a pleasant area. All the staff were very helpful and made the start of our holiday. Thank you very much only sorry it was just 1night.

Good location. Comfy bed. Bathroom could use some improvements but overall pretty good for the price. Would be nice if smoking was allowed on the balcony, as that's the only reason I booked the balcony.

We stayed at the Grey Eagle Resort hotel for the DreamSonic 2023 event on July 18, 2023. The staff of the hotel was amazing, especially Francis and Stevie. When we checked in early, Stevie and Francis worked hard to try to get us checked in asap. They are so friendly, nice and professional! When we were waiting at the lobby, Stevie checked in with us and offered us free lemonade water and chocolate cookies. Stevie and Francis made us feel at home. The room was also great! The mattress was so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there so much because of the high-quality customer service and professionalism Francis and Stevie provided and showed. We are definitely want to come back to the Grey Eagle Hotel next time in town!

This hotel not only met our expectations but surpassed them! All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The guest room is well appointed with a very comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, large screen tv, comfortable chair, a desk area, and large windows with blackout drapes. Slippers and robe are thoughtfully provided. The bathroom has a marble like surround with walk in shower. The vanity area has a large top. Hairdryer and makeup mirror supplied. Water pressure is great and the toilet even has a bidet. The property has a charming outdoor garden/patio area. The pool temperature is warm. The hot tub temperature is great, but is a bit on the small side. There is a well equiped gym for guest use. This hotel is truly a gem!

My stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North was fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it perfect for travelers. I loved the free shuttle service, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the new coin laundry facilities, which were super convenient during my stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options to start the day right. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Calgary!

We stayed overnight on Apr 30 3rd floor Between 10-11 , we heard ,commotion in the hallway, multiple voices screaming , fighting , profanity , running and someone trying to enter push our door . We called front desk twice to send security but unfortunately I did not feel a sense of urgency . I even asked if I should just call 911 but I was told to calm down. Well , that was easy to say . We felt we were in danger. I sure hope nobody was hurt including staff but that kind of violence should be actioned asap to ensure the safety of guests and the hotel staff . Needless to stay the one night we spent to get sleep before a 10hr flight the next morning turned out to be a sleepless night . We could have probably stayed at the airport uncomfortable but not feeling uneasy for our safety . Not blaming the front desk , I want them to protect themselves too but security or a call to the police could have de-escalated the more than an hour fighting outside our door . Hotel was more than decent if we exclude that particular incident .

We were on our way to Mexico and had to overnight in Calgary. Hotel had free shuttle and it was available all day on the hour. Our room was quiet and the staff excellent. Our stay was short but we were treated like our business was appreciated. They let us know our room was ready by email. It has an on site restuarant with other options near by.

This was a disappointing stay. The contract was for a private bathroom. The wash basin was in the main room and doubled as a sink. No definition of private bathroom has the wash basin outside the toilet/shower room. There was a constant vibration from the large fans / generator directly outside the window. This went on all night with the window shut. We raised this and were told ‘it’s for the whole complex so we can’t turn it off’ and “it’s next door and not on our property so we can’t do anything about it.” “You need to keep the window shut as it’s soundproof.” We did and it wasn’t. We asked how to manage the heat in the room. The toilet/ shower was like a sauna and the rest of the room was very hot. The advice was turn off the thermostat (it wasn’t on), put on the airconditioner (all night!?) and open the window. See above re shutting the window against compressor noise. There were no other rooms we could be moved to for our remaining stay of two nights and ‘housekeeping didn’t like it if guests stay single nights’, ‘if we have another room you’ll be the first to know’ All in all we felt dismissed. The inconveniences in the room and the terrible attitude of the staff were far short of expectations for a room of around $500 per night. Congratulations to Marwan and his Czech colleague who helped get maintenance reduce the heat. But a rip off for the price.

I am paraplegic and I was travelling with my eight-year-old son. On August 30 I called the both of you Lodge to inquire about their accessibility policies. They told me they had an accessible guestroom that would meet my needs. I reserved the room for the night of September 6 upon arriving, I immediately noticed that there was no automatic doors or automatic door, opener buttons, the doorways were very narrow, and it was hard to get my wheelchair and the luggage in Inside. Once inside, I had to use the washroom, as we had just been travelling on a bus for hours, but I cannot fit my wheelchair in their washroom very easily, as it was not accessible in the least. I managed to get inside with the assistance of my child, but shutting the door was another story. After checking in, I realized that their ‘ Accessible’ room was all the way at the end of the hall tucked into the corner, with a very narrow hallway leading up to the door, which made it impossible for me to get inside without, once again, the assistance of my child. The room itself was a disgrace. Very small and not enough room on either side of the bed to allow a safe transfer. The curtains/windows were beyond my reach. I cannot have any light or fresh air and to add to the discomfort the room was smelt musty, and a faint odour of steel urine . I cannot even open the mini fridge or reach the television. The bed/mattress seemed like just a cheap double bed The bathroom doorways were so narrow. I could barely enter it, and even if I could access it easily, it would MM have been completely unuseable for me. There was not sufficient clearance under the sink for my wheelchair, I cannot get anywhere near the toilet, and there was no accessible bathing option, just a lowered bathtub that again, would have been completely useless to somebody in a wheelchair. If this was not insulting enough, not to mention frustrating, and very disappointing for me and my son, when I went and told the staff at the front desk that I was not able to stay in that room, as it would not be functional for me, put me in a different hotel and charged me a $50 upgrade fee, and they did not even offer to assist me moving to the hotel, which ended up causing Sun and I to miss already paid for attraction. Once I got to the other hotel, I realized I had to pay a $250 security deposit which was $50 more than the other hotel and $50 less I had for my vacation that I spent a great deal of time saving and budgeting for in total, I spent $160 more than I was planning on spending and it severely took a negative tool on our trip and it’s entirety and the ripple affect this caused was extensive. When I got home, I messaged the manager and asked him to make me finish the whole and addressed my concerns about the completed. Disregard for accessibility/safety. He tried to throw $50 at me and tell me that the accessible room works for many of his guests and that he was grateful for my feedback as they strive to achieve accessibil

Parking was a struggle with an over sized vehicle that wouldn’t fit in the garage which isn’t their fault but still inconvenient but none the less staff was extremely helpful and inviting. Quick easy check in.

Great location! The shower could have been cleaner. However, the real concern was an unknown person entering our hotel room at 7:30 A.M. My partner and I were unable to fall back asleep after this happening and hotel staff only offered an apology, but no form of compensation. Additionally, parking is scant.

This was a very comfortable, well-managed hotel. The staff willingly changed our room when we asked to move from the first floor. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again! Price was high, but going rate in Banff.

We could not fault our stay at Fox hotel and suite. I was torn between four and five stars but I guess the reception/bar area was a little tired and the restaurant menu may not suit more up market tastes in food. However, we had a suite and the size was excellent. It offered excellent value for money with a good sized seating area and kitchen. Comfortable bed and soft towels. Filter coffee machine with quality coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly. Free passes for Roam bus service which stopped outside the hotel door. Excellent cocktails and friendly bar staff. For us a five but acknowledge a freshen up downstairs would be good. Free covered parking too.

We stayed 6 nights here and we were satisfied with our stay. The employees were friendly and the room was clean. We got into town early and our room would not be ready til 4pm but the front desk gladly stored our luggage while we explored town. There is free breakfast in the morning. We only had it once but it was good. They have 2 floors of free underground parking, which is very convenient. It's on a space available basis. Only one night we had to park on the street but it's because we got back late. Only thing I wish could be improved is the lighting. The room is a little dark for my liking and my wife had a little difficult time doing her makeup. But no big deal. Would stay here again, especially since the location is very ideal. It's walking distance to everything and the main shuttle stop and grocery store is across the street.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast had good selections. Staff was okay. However there was a guy taking the same elevator looking suspicious he did not tap his room key just let us do. He said he was struggling to get his room key and tried to search in his pants pocket but hands out with nothing. He came out the elevator on the same floor. We headed to different direction but when we were entering our room and looked to him, he turned around and walked back towards our direction. We went in the room right away closed and locked the door. Hotel can definitely do better regarding safety.

Good location and Convenient. Service was good and staff were friendly. The room was clean and in good size. Good to include breakfast, not super yummy, but fair enough for a morning start . The swimming pool is super small, we didn’t bother, we went out every day for our own activities arrangements.

When I got into the hotel, the ambiance was cozy and nice. I love the elegant old style look. The security will greet you as soon as you come in and the receptionists were helpful. When we went to our room, t'was a little small for a two full bed suite. There were only 2 pillows each bed and there's no microwave oven nor refrigerator. There's only 1 bath towel as well so me and my spouse had to wait for it to dry up a lil bit before we can use it again. They have a ”public parking” at the hotel but you have to pay $25/night and it's my first time to encounter paying for hotel parking where you're booked. It was not a bad stay and overall, i'll give it a 3.5/5.😊

Absolutely the best place to stay in the city with extremely friendly staff, cleanest and everything is brand new and smells wonderful.

It is great to have another hotel choice adjacent to WEM. We have often stayed at West Edmonton Mall Inn..Decided to try the new Baymont in November. As seniors price is important and Baymont is good value @ $135/with taxes. Awkward entrance is tucked in a small ***** mall adjacent to the Jollibee drive thru. Very little parking in front of the hotel front….there is underground parking entrance beside the hotel with elevator to lobby and rooms. Trying to confirm Uber location was a bit awkward as you had to stand in front of Jollibee to ensure pickup. WEM is across the street and the Edmonton Transit centre is a 1 minute walk. All rooms are on 2nd floor and up. Our room had one king and one queen bed. Full size fridge, microwave but no coffee maker. Utensils are available on call. Fair size washroom with shower only. And you have to love the mirror with a built in night light. Fair size TV but limited channels if you are looking for CNN, CNBC, TSN or SNet so disappointing that way. Complimentary breakfast good but would have been top notch if there were hash browns available with the scrambled eggs and sausages. Cereal is available but limited if you are looking for low sugar option….only cheerios in the respect but lots of fruit loops and such. Yogurt and muffin offered. All in all, fair value, couple wrinkles to iron out with tv channels, coffee maker and breakfast but we will be back.

Place was reasonably clean, amenities are ok and breakfast is good. However they are understaffed at night, making check-ins a long process. There's only one attendant and when I arrived there are at least 8 people In the line. No bottled water or sandals.

This Inn is located very near West Edmonton Mall, with 5 mins drive. This is a no-frill inn, with all you need. However, keep in mind it is really easy to hear somone talking in the corridor, so please the voice down to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay.

Wonderful staff, abundant hot breakfast, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Room was large, beds firm and HBO on the tv! Every staff member was very helpful and friendly, and Mandy, who runs the breakfast was especially nice. Parking lot is well lit, covered by security cameras and has security guard.
