One of the highest value airport hotels in Calgary if you don't need breakfast. Far from the airport but the shuttle service was free and on time and the hotel is relatively close to the city center. My room had a very comfortable bed and some of the better towels I've had at a hotel. The mini-bar with a fridge and microwave was also nice.

The cleanliness is actually OK, but it's quite run-down. The wash basin in my room was completely cracked and looked disgusting. I couldn't get through the two days I stayed there; it was a bit nauseating just looking at it. The breakfast was OK. Parking was convenient.

This was my first time staying here and booking through trip.com. Everything was great effortless and booking and checking in. The beds were comfy and the shower is big enough for two people. The Chinese food in the Casino while watch the hockey game was great. Also the braised beef short rib Benny was a delicious start to Mother’s Day. I will definitely stay here again and hopefully hit the hot tub next time for sure.

Great value for a short term stay near the YYC, with turn off from major road BarlowTrail NE. The front entrance is a bit confusing if approaching from the rear industrial area. Staff were friendly and professional, usual hotel damage deposit and person staying in expectation. The room was very spacious and clean, although a bit dated. AC was a bit louder than expected, but was able to sleep through. I didn't have time to use the amenities (pool and gym).

The suite breakfast is on the 3rd floor and can be delivered to the room before 2 o’clock. Parking is very convenient. There are stadiums nearby, you can go to the concert. The subway bus is very convenient. There are very few pedestrians at night. Many shops close at 3 or 6 in the afternoon. There are bars and entertainment facilities that open at 6 in the evening, and ordinary people seldom go there.

The room is not very clean. Especially, the pillow has hair on it. The towel in front of the bathtub is dirty.

The hotel is a legendary hotel that opened in 1913 and has been 110 years ago. It is the same hotel where Queen Elizabeth stayed. The front desk upgraded the room type to a top floor room. The room has a large usable space, the bathroom is large, and the equipment is LeLabo. The gym and swimming pool are on the B1 floor of the hotel. The swimming pool is not large, but the temperature of the pool is very comfortable. What impressed me most about this hotel is the Hawthorn Lounge on the first floor of the hotel. Breakfast is served a la carte, with dedicated service. At the end of the meal, a postcard from the hotel is given to you. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just one step away from Calgary Tower and Wonderland Sculpture; the room service is fast.

A great hotel with wonderful service. I spent the full day working from the room and then enjoyed the amenities after. Incredible staff at the front desk and were able to check me in early.

I was told by the front desk that the cost for a taxi to get to the airport was approximately $50. Then I was told by another member of the staff that it was around $65. I asked the staff to go ahead and book me the taxi and I ended up paying $80 to get to the airport one way. The hotel really needs to figure out a system with the taxi cab drivers regarding flat rates because $80 for Edmonton is unacceptable.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I really like it. Although the room is a little smaller this time, it still has a lake view and is quiet. Breakfast is included. The breakfast here is rich, just like a star hotel. The quality and variety are good, and the coffee is strong. The hotel actually has many restaurants, and the choices are not small. The swimming pool and hot spring bath are both good. Going out hiking in the morning, walking in the snow, and looking at the snow-capped mountains is very pleasant!
