GGuest UserThe staff there are so lovely and helpful. But it was quite stressful not being familiar with Tampere, and not being able to stop right in front of the hotel to bring the bags down. The parking connected to the hotel was full but thankfully there was another parking nearby, but a little inconvenient to have to drag the luggages across the road. The room itself was fine, no kettle but able to get hot water in the lobby, and the aircon was leaking water and it leaked onto the extra bed :( water pressure was fine but could be better. Honestly wasn't a fan of these things BUT, breakfast was sooooo good. Excellent quality ingredients all cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed it and would actually stay again just for the breakfast :)

GGuest UserI arrived early and was planning to just drop off my luggage before heading out, but they kindly offered me a room right away, which was a huge help! As expected from a Marriott property, it was clean, and the staff's kindness left a very positive impression.

HHoang Tam ThaiThe hostel is amazing for its price. The location is near the center so going anywhere is easy. They also have a free self-service coffee and tea bar with a lot of options. If you want to spend time together they have boardgames too. The bed is not very large but comfortable and the room is clean. Overall, a nice place to stay and the staff is friendly and fast.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, close to the river and not to far from the railway station. The breakfast is OK, though you have to eat it in the gloom of a room that is inadequately lit. The hotel has 6 or 7 floors but only one tiny elevator. The room was a decent size though it had a tiny bathroom. The beds were comfortable, but noise leaked into the room through the thin walls.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, in the middle of Tampere. The curtains in the room could not be closed completely, which was a bit of a nuisance for me. My room happened to be facing the courtyard, so the view from the room was of the wall of the same building. But that was just bad luck. The breakfast was good and varied. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try the sauna.

UUlla NurmenniemiI booked three nights for two persons with breakfast. Location is excellent and room is nice with sauna. BUT restaurant is closed, and NO BREAKFAST although paid for all the mornings. Hotel didn't arrange anything to eat in the morning. How bad service is that!! In addition it's spa hotel and swimming pool and saunas were closed. Quite a disappointment. On my opinion hotel staff should use a little imagination and innovative solutions to serve customers better. I guess they never heard about good service.

GGuest UserThe Lapland Hotel in Tampere was really good. On the first day of check-in, because the room was a bit noisy, customer service Sakira immediately changed us to a smaller but quiet room than the original reservation, and promised to change us to the original room type and quiet room early the next morning. Thank you for the beautiful customer service Eerika who changed rooms for us the next day. After her kind greetings and arrangements, she stayed in a quiet and comfortable room type.
In addition, the breakfast was very exquisite. I tried the venison omelette for the first time and the taste was not bad. The traffic is very convenient. The hotel is only 100 meters from the No. 1 and No. 3 trams in the city.

GGuest UserIt's behind the station, but it's close to the Moomin Museum.
It's also easily accessible from the station.
I was very grateful that they provided slippers and tissues, which is rare overseas.
I'm not sure if it depends on the room, but my room had a bathtub so I was able to warm up my body properly.
If you ask at the front desk, you can get a discount coupon for the Sokos department store! I didn't get one unless I asked.

GGuest UserThe location is superb. The view is amazing. The breakfast has various nice options.
The place is more of family place. It looks like the place is quite popular among people travelling with kids. So its possible to hear kid crying late at night, not that it disturbed us. For noice sensitive travellers I recommend to avoid going to breakfast between 8:00-9:30. Its like trying to eat in a kindergarten. The noice gets easier after 10:00.
