Kerusi angsa merah yang terkenal dan sofa di dalam bilik tetamu penuh dengan rasa kontemporari. Kolam air panas dilengkapi sepenuhnya. Jangan risau tentang perjalanan yang bergelombang. Mata air panas dan makanan yang lazat serta-merta menghilangkan kepenatan hari itu. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah jurang antara perkhidmatan lama dan baharu membawa perasaan yang sama sekali berbeza. AANASTASIIA_BERDNIKOVAThis hotel is a paradise in the mountains of Hakone! Traditional style of the rooms - it feels like you are living in a Japanese family. We were prepared a traditional dinner, which was served in our room. It was very tasty and varied! The hotel has 3 onsen: 2 - private, 1 - public. We visited only the private ones (you need to book a time in advance at the reception upon check-in, the visit time is 30 minutes). It was wonderful! The hotel also provides a transfer from and to the nearest train stations. The rooms are clean, cozy, we slept on tatami under soft blankets. The hotel has a relax room. With massage chairs and a very quiet atmosphere. We stayed in this room after visiting the onsen and got great relaxation. And you are also given national clothes for rest and sleep. It is very beautiful and cute. Breakfasts were also in kaiseki style - varied and unusual. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. this hotel allows tattoo baths. great experience, thank you very much! want to come back again!

DDevopriya TirthoMy wife and I traveled all the way from Canada to Japan to celebrate my recent graduation, and booking a night at Hakone Yumoto Aura Tachibana was the best decision we made for our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was nothing short of world-class. We arrived early around 1:30 PM to drop off our luggage before tackling the Hakone sightseeing loop, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, seamlessly taking our bags so we could explore unburdened. When we returned in the evening, check-in was smooth, and we were made to feel so welcome.
We stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room with an Open-air Bath, and it was a dream come true. The hotel kindly accommodated our request for a high-floor room with a beautiful, photogenic view of the surrounding Hakone mountains. Soaking in our private open-air bath after a long day of walking was the ultimate relaxation. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, perfectly blending modern comfort with traditional Japanese aesthetics.
However, the absolute star of the show was the food. We had both dinner and breakfast included, and the Kaiseki (traditional multi-course) dining experience was phenomenal. Every single dish was a work of art—intricately prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with seasonal flavors. The dining ambiance was serene and intimate, making our graduation celebration feel incredibly special. The staff even helped us select some wonderful Japanese drinks from their menu to toast to the occasion.
If you are looking for exceptional service, mouth-watering food, and a deeply relaxing atmosphere, look no further. We left feeling completely refreshed and cannot recommend Aura Tachibana highly enough!

HhappydragonI would really love to visit again. So conveniently located at togendai port. Just 5mins walk from back exit. Staff are international and speaks good english. Love the food and free flow alcohol at buffet.
I booked private onsen for my family 3000yen for 40mins. Clean and comfortable.
There is shuttle bus service from odawara station. Taked abt an hour. Prebook with the hotel for the shuttle bus to and from odawara.
It's probably a lil pricey compared to other hotels but it's not the most expensive and I think it's worth it.

JJette Marie☀️ When i first arrived, i thought i was at the wrong place - i‘ve never booked something so nice for myself before!
🪲PROS
- chill 4 people bedrooms, with a comfy bed and a big personal shelf + locker and a fridge for the room
- clean facilities and rooms
- towel, toothpaste/toothpaste and yukata were provided as well as shampoo and showergel
- the common room was so cozy and nice, with tea and water always at the ready and a great view of the garden
- i was satisfied with both the dinner and breakfast and the price was fairly cheap (~1200¥ or a bit more, depending on your choices)
- PRIVATE ONSEN that you can book for around 50minutes at night and can use in the morning if nobody else is already using it (costs around 150¥ per use)
- there is a shuttle bus going at pretty regular times in the morning. They offer a ride to both Gora-Station or Hakone-Open-Air-Museum!

🌱 i really enjoyed my stay. I had cool roomies that became travel companions and absolutely loved the inn, the onsen, the food and the kind staff!
Definitely a recommendation if you ever decide to stay in Hakone - i would book again!

PPengguna TetamuYama No Chaya has its own beauty and serenity. I personally don’t find it hard to locate - 2 bus stops away from Hakone Yumoto station + a 5 minutes walk are worth the stay. (Bus service stopped for one of the days due to bad weather and we walked for 20 minutes to Hakone Yumoto Station - all good)
The team is very hospitable - they also have some English and Chinese speaking staff otherwise simple English is not an issue to communicate. Our butler - Sandip always carry a smile with him, and he ensured we are very well taken care of. Every morning, the team will prepare heat pack and umbrellas for us (it was raining and snowing). In the evening, they made tea and prepared snacks (vary from mochi to sushi) for us upon our returned.
The room we booked is Yamano Ichigo (main wing) - just nice for 2. The viewing platform was where we relaxed every evening and we soaked our tiredness away in our very own private onsen at the basement. Despite of having our own private onsen, I still went to visit 3 other public onsen within the Ryokan - you will not be disappointed.
Our room came with daily breakfast and we added on dinner for 1 night. I must say the chef and culinary team put in their passion and effort to prepare all the dishes. It’s not common for a visitor like me to taste Kaisekai cuisine which I enjoyed very much. You need to take time and an empty stomach to full experience it :) However, my partner and I weren’t used to heavy breakfast and our butler noticed it - we get to change to western style for the rest of the stay which was equally delicious. We are thankful that we minimised food wastage.
Overall, we felt pampered during our stay at Yama no Chaya :) I will return again in the future when I visit Hakone.

Location: Super near Gora station very convenient to travel everywhere. There is even direct bus to and fro Gotemba premium outlet, Hakone-Yumoto and Odawara was convenient as well.
Ryokan: Check in was great, front desk communicates and explains everything in English clearly. Was able to reserve my 2 night’s dinner upon checking in too. There were free snacks, lounge area with coffee/drinks/ice cream, you can choose your yukata for both male/female, daily nighttime free delicious ramen.
Room: Excellent, bed was comfortable and there is an outdoor tub as well. Take note the tub will be filled with hot water instead of hot spring water. There was pyjamas as well.
Onsen: There are 3 different outdoor private tubs which will light up when in used (first come first serve basis). We managed to try all 3 and our favourite was the wooden tub, followed by stone tub and lastly the one with 2 tubs (so each person to soak in 1). Queue can be quite long sometimes as this private onsen is popular among couples. To be considerate it is best to use it as quick as possible. Then there is the public onsen with both indoor and outdoor, hot, cold dips and sauna. Hot dips can reach up to 40-42 degrees. There is another human made hot water carbonation onsen which has lesser people since it is not hot spring water. I thoroughly enjoyed all the onsens.
Meals: Highly recommend to opt the breakfast and dinner options. Restaurants close very early around 5pm so there are not a lot of dinner options outside the ryokan. Meals were excellent and Japanese Kaiseki style. Very delicious and there was so much food in the course meal.
Overall 10/10 experience and I would choose this ryokan on my next trip.

PPengguna TetamuWe got to the hotel in the beautiful location just before 3pm and we got given a little tour of the place and then got shown to our room. The staff are very friendly and do their best to speak English. A lovely lady was in charge of our hospitality throughout our stay and she first showed us that there is a public hot spring and a private hot spring and asked us if we would like to book a time to use the private hot spring, we booked a time as we checked in but then we didn’t use it as we were happy with our private hot spring in the room. We also booked a time for dinner and they arrived at that time
Promptly with A LOT of food. We also got a choice for a staple food and we chose some steak which was high quality and delicious, as well as the lobster (on the menu it said grilled prawn but a lobster is what came and it was delicious). We ordered a few beers and a bottle of wine with room service and it always came quickly and was nice and cold.
The private hot spring is absolutely boiling but it’s a good experience and there’s ice water provided which helps.
Breakfast came at 8.30am and it was also huge! It didn’t come with coffee but I ordered some and that was easy enough.
The lady who served our food explained every dish and how to eat it and she was always extremely friendly and attentive.
Would recommend!
