Toccata e fuga in occasione di Umbria Jazz:albergo datato ma tenuto bene, camera singola molto piccola ma pulita e confortevole, colazione abbondante. Ubicato nel comune di Ponte San Giovanni a 8 minuti in auto dal centro di Perugia. Non ho avuto modo di provare la piscina. Tutto sommato mi ritengo soddisfatta. Ps:per la settimana di Umbria Jazz sarebbe utile mettere a disposizione un servizio navetta anche a pagamento(hanno una navetta nel parcheggio). Lo fanno già altri alberghi e basterebbero 4/5 corse al giorno per dare un servizio top.

We we're atleast 7 time in Italy, North and South parts of it, but never stay in such a nice hotel like this one!! Room size great. Bathroom size perfect. Clean and shine. Staff very very nice. Stayed there 3 nights,and loved it. For sure coming back!!

Residence albergo veramente ben tenuto curato negli spazi comuni ubicato a due passi dal lago Trasimeno. Noi per nostra necessità alloggiando in una camera attrezzata per disabili in carrozzina e confermiamo che gli spazi consentono di accedere alla camera bagno cucina e letto agevolmente. Anche la colazione merita di essere fatta Personale cordiale Superconsigliato

Not a charming or boutique hotel while a very spacious and well equipped one, with kind and complete service to make the stay thoughtless and pleasant. Very close to the Church and center and with numerous restaurants also in the hotel. Large parking area. Nice bar. Also a good basis to visit the area around (we went to Castelluccio form the blossom). Rooms have full equipment and triple rooms are really so, with two rooms inside

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. My room was small, but cosy. There is a decent pool with wet and finnish sauna. The breakfast service needs improvement, as well as cleaning.

An absolutely wonderful experience. You can feel the medieval vibe yet the accommodations are charming and modern. The staff were most welcoming and the restaurant breakfasts were delicious. The location is lovely and situated on a hill with breathtaking views. Nearby are easy hikes, cute towns and a beautiful stream. All in all a very magical experience.

Casale immerso nella campagna umbra, dove sicuramente potrete trovare pace e serenità. L’area esterna è molto bella e curata, soprattutto la piscina. Per quanto riguarda la struttura in sè, certamente si nota che avrebbe bisogno di maggior manutenzione. La nostra camera era piccola e piena di arredi antiquati che rendevano l’ambiente ancora più cupo e angusto. La seconda notte il climatizzatore ha smesso di funzionare. Attenzione che all’intento della struttura non era attivo il servizio ristoro (mancanza comunque segnalata correttamente in fase di prenotazione ) Avremmo voluto segnalare queste problematiche alla proprietà ma in fase di check out (possibile solo dopo le 9.) c’era soltanto la signora addetta alle pulizie che ringraziamo per gentilezza e disponibilità Ringraziamo anche il ragazzo della reception per la cordialità e disponibilità Concludendo, il posto ha grandi potenzialità ma andrebbe manutenuto meglio.

Ottimo albergo con stupenda vista sul lago. Giardino curato in modo naturale con scelta di piante mediterranee. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile a risolvere tutto. Buona colazione senza artifici. Spesso semplicità e naturalezza sono l'arma vincente. Consiglio certamente.

This review is actually difficult to write. The property itself is located at a beautiful location. With that being said, the staff are not genuine and do not enforce ”rules” consistently nor with any rhyme or reason. For instance we went down to the spa area to get a tour of what we could experience. We were not wearing the issued spa shoes, so we were not given a tour. Not even offered to use some spa shoes due to ours being in our room. Yet when we were in the spa for a pool visit, we saw no less than 3 couples being shown around wearing regular street shoes. Also people are not supposed to be talking on their phones or listening to audible music. At least two guests were when we were at the pool. Overall the spa is severely overpriced and overly hyped. Quite frankly it's not impressive. Along the lines of rules, men are are supposed to wear pants in the restaurant at dinner, yet I saw men wearing shorts. Also once again people were chatting on their phones. The breakfast was good, but dinner was a huge disappointment. We ate dinner twice. The food was indeed presented well. But the taste was lacking. During a four course dinner, my appetizer of fried cod was essentially room temperature as if it was cooked 10-15 min earlier. It was not of good quality taste either. The rest of my ”hot” food for the 1st and 2nd courses were also NOT hot. My ravioli were warm at best. For my 2nd course only part of my pork dish was actually hot. And staff NEVER checked to see if the food was prepared properly or to your liking. My wife's one course was barely touched, not a single question was asked. Also we weren't even offered a wine list! we were shocked!!!!!!!!! The portion sizes are extremely small and over priced. One morning there was NO hot water. Called the front desk, they had someone to find what the problem was. Once it was fixed about 90 minutes later, they never called us to let us know. For the price we paid for the room ,they could've at least called us to let us know we had hot water again. They charge a flat fee of 30 Euros to charge an electric car each time. Our rental car was a plug in hybrid that had a small battery which could charge rather quickly. There was a language barrier. I was under the impression the fee to use the charger would be only 30 euros for our entire stay due to the battery not being for a fully electric car. That is not the case. Even for a fully electric vehicle, paying 30 euros is way too pricey. Depending where your room is located you have a long walk up or down ad very long walkway that is NOT level. IT's actually on a fairly steep incline/decline. Upon checkout they sent the person to help load bags to the wrong part of the hotel two times. I will discuss the staff last. The staff here pretends to act friendly. They seem very uptight and not at all genuine. Our entire stay here we did not feel like we could relax. First the positives......location. Now the negatives... Avoid Room 50 llike the plague. We had booked a superior double room and were pleasantly surprised to be allocated Room 50 with all it's grandeur, until that is one of us went to the shower. Only to find that the bathroom flooded to almost Biblical proportions !!! No amount of trying to mop up the water with spare towels worked. Response from the Front of House member of staff was to provide more towels, and an explanation of how a previous guest had accidentally broken one of the glass panes in the shower screen (which given it's appearance and condition had clearly been there for a good twenty years or more) which he claimed had been repaired,but that the problem persisted and that staff were aware of this.!!! His solution to the issue was to say ”I can't do anything now,we'll deal with it tomorrow” Our reply was that this situation was unacceptable and could we please be moved to another room. Reluctantly he agreed to our request and allocated us Room122. We had booked for three nights, for the remainder of our stay we had quite a frosty reception every time we encountered the said member of staff. On checking out and paying the bill with a credit card a most unusual thing happened. The Front of House staff member on duty that morning asked for payment of the City Tourist Tax in cash. In all our years of travelling in Europe and paying various city taxes we have never been asked for cash payment when using cards.Hmmm? La Rosetta did not live up to expectations, breakfast was average and the coffee from the machine was dreadful. Italian guests must be appalled with it. We wished we had stuck with our first initial choice and gone with La Fortuna around the corner.

We stayed only one night but arrived early. It was super hot so having an in door pool was amazing. Our room was lovely but needed to ask desk to adjust aircon from their central control as it was set at 24 so when you put it down it would cut itself off. We didn’t eat here but facilities for dining looked lovely. Staff had great English and were very helpful.

My husband and I have the fondest memories of Hotel Giotto. The presidential suite spaciously accommodated us in one room and my mother in the other, and the huge terrace was an unforgettable gathering place for sunrise, sunset, full moons, and countless hours spent lounging there in between. Valley views are unforgettable from the handsome bar, the elegant restaurant, or the rooms with terraces and balconies. Staff are warm and attentive yet unobtrusive. The restaurant is excellent, and the wine, dinner tasting menu, and breakfasts are an especially strong value. Finally, the location is ideal, just a five-minute stroll from the Basilica of Saint Frances and 10-minute walk to Piazza del Commune.

Very nice place, close to the historical city of Assisi. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice rooms, very comfortable. All essentials were present. Good food. Parking in front. Nice walkings around; stunning garden. The meeting rooms are quite good as well.

This hotel has a great location as it is walking distance to all main hallmarks of Assisi, however the magic was soon demolished by the horrific customer service provided by Tiziana, I was checking out and she wanted to double charge me for a lunch already paid, I had to show her my bank statement via my bank application to avoid a second transaction, how she handled the situation was pitiful, and made that experience so nasty that never coming back here. Always keep your receipts because if you run into her you better have ready a prove of all payments, she is rude and lack of manners, when I called an hour later to get her name a man named Giuseppe picked up the phone and when I asked who runs this restaurant to express my disapproval on how the’re managing clients accounts he was hesitant to provide any information, first he said that Elena is the boss, then changed the name for Manuala, when I asked for a contact # to communicate with one of those names mentioned, he refused and finished the call, when I call back he kept Doing the same blaming it all on bad connection. Very rude person, sadly! The behavior of these two Giuseppe and Tiziana needs serious attention, the way they treat guests is very poor, classless, and unprofessional.

We selected Asisium for our 2-night stay based on TA reviews and we were not disappointed. This is our second stay inside Assisi. Great location and a very small (14 room) boutique hotel. The hotel is new, very clean and contemporary but very comfortable. Rooms are large with very comfortable beds, and a very nicely appointed bathroom. Breakfast is included and is fine--nothing over the top but all the breakfast essentials. There is an expresso/cappuccino machine in the hall way outside our room with is a nice touch. Reception was excellent and helpful. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast is served and then open for dinner. While the hotel does not have a bar (only 14 rooms!), there is a great wine bar immediately across the street. Only feedback I would provide is that it would have been nice to have bottled water in the room. Other than that, it was a great and comfortable stay. The hotel has an agreement with the parking lot up the street. You drop your bags off and then drive the car to the lot and you pay 20 euro per night. We had a bit of a challenge with our GPS initially finding the hotel, but eventually got there. Make sure you enter the correct end of town. You do NOT want to come in on the end with the San Francesco Church. Also, very well priced for Assisi. Overall, I highly recommend.

I stayed for Umbria jazz and was amazing all the staff..the room...faboulus breakfast...so clean so quiet!! There a plus ..the bus that tales you for free to Santa Giuliana Arena for concerts and back every hour from 5 p.m. and back every hour too..in the same plaza you take the elevator for center so this bus is a great great thing!! So nice!!!

We spent 12 days in Umbria and used Perugia as our home base. This lovely hotel is about 10 minutes from the center of Perugia. You must have a rental car to stay here as the bus rarely comes by and it is not within walking distance of Perugia center. We had a car so no issues for us, There is excellent on site free parking. The hotel is wonderful. Big thanks to the fabulous Jessica and Aymen at the front desk! They helped us every day and made dinner reservations for us several times. They were always warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and lovely. The shower is small, but typical for Europe. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate is phenomenal. There is nothing they have not thought of to serve!! The staff at breakfast are also absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful time at this hotel!! Highly recommend.

The two stars given are for location, food in the restaurant and housekeeping. We found the staff here not just brusque but actually quite rude. On our first day the bar was open and there was someone serving, we ordered drinks, we’re given some snacks and we sat on the terrace. There was a school trip here as part of the jazz festival, it would have been good if our travel agent had been told of this, we may have chosen elsewhere. The location is good to walk into town with the escalators. There was no one working at the bar for the remaining two nights of our stay and each time we had to ask reception to serve us, each time this seemed like a chore for them and wasn’t met with a smile. They hadn’t bothered to get any ice so the drinks weren’t very cold. One morning one of the reception staff was counting our cash, I went back 20 minutes later to ask for change (the ATM had given us two €50 notes) and we didn’t want to use those for taxis. I was told they had no cash (there is also a sign saying they have a cash desk open. There is a pool but swim cap is mandatory and you have to get a key from reception and they limit numbers if it gets too busy. No irons in the room, apparently they have an ironing room where you can go to. The food in the restaurant was lovely. Once again let down by poor service. We will definitely return to Perugia, we won’t return here.

Comodo parcheggio, comodo letto, ottima doccia, colazione aria e discreta. Hotel un po' antico ma funzionale per business. Omaggio di bottiglietta d'acqua e snack alla partenza, molto apprezzato.

Bella struttura. Personale gentile. Servizi adeguati. Tuttavia parcheggio esterno pieno sabato sera a causa dei clienti del ristorante tanto da non riuscire a parcheggiare. Inoltre quando siamo arrivati la camera era fredda: a mio parere, se arrivano degli ospiti, l'ambiente deve essere preparato affinché sia confortevole (e ciò anche considerato il livello dell'albergo e i relativi costi). Spa con piscina riscaldata, sauna e bagno turco molto carina (a pagamento).
