The grounds are spacious and very beautiful. Even though I was traveling alone with my two-year-old daughter, I had a corner room in the old building that was huge (easily big enough for 8 people) and absolutely lovely. The lack of a shower in the room is something to get used to. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, the hotel and the onsen are unfortunately quite dated and could use a renovation. The outdoor pools, the plentiful food, the free shuttle to the train station, and the large room somewhat compensated for this. However, the value for money wasn't quite right due to the dated facilities.

I really liked the Comfort Hotel. Great location, easy access from maebashi train station and quick walk to shopping areas. The room was just what we needed with helpful amenities. Staff are lovely and helpful. Would recommend for a short stay.

We had a very good overall experience at this onsen hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We especially appreciated having an English-speaking staff member available — it made communication much easier and helped us feel more comfortable during our visit.

We stayed in a warm and comfortable tatami room, which included two meals. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to and from the station, and the staff were very attentive throughout our stay. The on-site hot spring was excellent; it snowed heavily the day we visited, and soaking in the hot spring while watching the snow fall was truly a magical experience. We also enjoyed the complimentary delicious late-night snack provided in the evening. Additionally, parking is available, which is convenient for those driving.

Rooms were small and tight for a couple. Location was great with the rail station just next door. Eateries were easy to find and there is a mall. Super convenient if you need anything. Overall we had a great stay

Room is expected of a Japanese hotel. The room is slightly bigger in fact, and very clean. The hotel in conveniently located near Takasaki Station with direct pedestrian bridge access. Vending machines in hotel and conbini is nearby.

Dormy Inn Maebashi is a fantastic place to stay, offering comfort, convenience, and excellent amenities. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean and cozy rooms that provide a relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights is the onsen, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day. The complimentary nighttime ramen is a nice touch, adding to the overall experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. With its great location near the station, Dormy Inn Maebashi is a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!

The hotel is not far from the station, about a five-minute drive away. Near the hotel is Tianyi Art Museum whose owner is an artist of traditional Shakuhachi musical instruments. The decoration and details of the hotel are very artistic. Inadvertently found a hotel with a local traditional culture atmosphere. You need to make an appointment if you have a private soup, and you can see the outdoor scenery. Public soups for men and women are separated and served 24 hours a day. The breakfast is delicious and authentic with local specialties. The dinner will provide musical instrument performance and experience. Interesting.

The hotel is a bit of a drive from Karuizawa JR Station, about 35 minutes, and there's a toll fee. However, the scenery along the way is beautiful. Shiraito Falls is about 10 minutes away. The hotel parking lot is ample and very convenient. The hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hot springs are both indoor and outdoor, with an orange-brown color and a mild odor. Unfortunately, the outdoor hot springs don't allow for a view of the sky. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of options and are delicious. This hotel has a very resort-like feel and I'd definitely return if I had the chance. If you stay at Prince, you can go to Manza Plateau to soak in hot springs. There is plenty of sulfur. I highly recommend it. But I suggest you bring your own food. There are no convenience stores around. The room is quite big but it is very old. It is basically very good.
