Very good hotel for the price. The room was clean and comfortable — no issues with cleanliness or any unpleasant smells. I saw some negative reviews, but they might be more relevant for local guests. My room was neat and well-maintained. The windows faced the highway, however once the window is closed the noise completely disappears — you can sleep peacefully. You also can’t hear the neighbors, the soundproofing is good. Overall, a pleasant and convenient place to stay for a reasonable price. You can book with confidence, you won’t regret it.

Review of Villa Fontaine Grand Osaka Umeda I stayed at Villa Fontaine Grand Osaka Umeda and found it to be a convenient and comfortable choice for exploring Osaka. The hotel is within walking distance of several train stations, including Osaka Station, which made travelling around the city very easy. The area is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and convenience stores, so food and essentials were always within reach. The hotel offers a complimentary spa for guests, though we didn’t get a chance to try it. The staff were friendly and able to communicate in English, which made the stay smoother. Check-in and check-out were done through machines, with staff available if assistance was needed. Overall, Villa Fontaine Grand Osaka Umeda provides great accessibility and a pleasant stay, ideal for travellers who want convenience and helpful service.

Very good. The location is excellent — very convenient to walk around and directly connected to the subway. There are convenience stores all around. The staff provide good service. Towels are changed every day, and the room is cleaned once every four days. Overall, it’s really good for this price.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I was especially impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was—the room and common areas were spotless. The location is also excellent, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would happily return again.

The location of the hotel is pretty convenient. 5–6 minutes walk to Hommachi St., which you can easily use to travel to Kyoto, Kobe, etc.  The check-in and check-out were really fast, and we had an upgrade, which was worth the price. I had read the previous reviews about the rudeness of the staff, which is not actually due to this, but it’s the language barrier that could make a tired traveller a little less patient.  If you wish to ask something more specific, please don’t be afraid to use the Google Translate app to help you with the communication. The staff have been really helpful to all of our enquiries. Some remarks were about the hotel lobby being on the 15th floor, but they have a dedicated entrance for taxis or cars to reach the hotel.  Bonus: if you exit through KoKuMiN Osaka Metro Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 4) on your right is a local grocery store that sells local produce and other fruits/food products. It's cheaper to go here to buy your drinks and fruits, etc.

LUGGAGE STORAGE 💀 💕Overall the hotel is amazing! Near to 7/11 and Lawson. There’s an airport bus just 5minutes away. However, their luggage storage system, it says there’s free luggage storage but they only allow ONE baggage per person, if there’s 2 ppl in your room then 2 luggages. You can store your other luggages at the mall where the airport bus is, BUT Sundays the storage space is closed and we had to drag our luggages to somewhere else for a whole day….you should have written the one luggage per person instead of free luggage storage at the concierge so that people can plan accordingly.
