Hotel Dengan Sarapan pagi di Tangier-Tetouan, Maghribi

Hotel initially presents well. However some things let it down. The room was large and spacious however it was quite windy outside and this howled through window all night. The bathroom : the shower is over a really high bath that has no door or curtain so the floor gets flooded even if your being very careful. The toilet seems to have a leak either from the water feed to the toilet or bidet as the grout channels in floor were always full of water. Only 1 towel and one hand towel supplied. Restaurant: just don’t!! The food was shocking. It made a student flat dinner look like a 5 star dining experience. Staff were helpful but very inexperienced. Basically the restaurant is an afterthought. Breakfast: this is at a different restaurant in the complex. It was quite good. Extensive fruit and vegetable options. Lots of egg options. Lovely pastries. Only minor letdown was tea and coffee. The property is a long way from any local restaurants but there is a mall 10to 15 min walk away. Just not very pleasant walking there in the wind we experienced. Would I stay here again : Yes What would I do different : taxi to the Medina and eat there. Take ear plugs.

Had 2 rooms for the hotel. Average room, rather old. Renovations are in progress thus maybe caused the lack of service, had to wait rather long while checking in and in comparison with other moroccan hotels, no welcome drinks or familiarisation was given. There was no rooftop access for any aerial view despite strategically located next to the wonderful beach and nearby all the main attractions of the city. Staffs were friendly though, facilities and maintenance fell short for that last star.

We really would like to thank you for rhis 3 days with your staff. People in the reception, the staff on the restaurant and bar, allways happy and helpfull. We would like to say a special thank you for Jamila, our room service was amazing, she is very happy, helpfull and attentive, so lovely. Thank you so much for our amazing days with you. It was close to airport but 15-20 mins away from the city. Yassir was the front end manager who checked us in. He was very polite and explained us the tours and places around Tangier. Hotel was clean and new. Would recommend anyone staying here who has a flight out the next day or two.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in late April 2023. We arrived from Casablanca, by high speed train. The train station, clean and modern, is right across the street from the Hilton Tanger. Upon arrival we were upgraded from a king exec room a to junior suite. Loved the room. It was spacious, big bathroom with separate tub and shower, 2 sinks and bidet. Lots of closet space. Housekeeping brought us extra pillows that we requested. We were on the 8th floor facing the sea so we had a view of the coast. We could see Spain in the distance and the ferry coming and going to the Tangier port. Before going for breakfast we made coffee in the room with the capsules provided. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of variety, eggs on order, hot and cold dishes, Moroccan and Western. The restaurant is on the 15th floor with fantastic views over the beach and the sea. There is a mall attached to the hotel. I bought a nice Tshirt in a ladies shop and we bought some snacks at the supermarket. We walked down to the beach and along the boardwalk area that stretches for a long distance toward the port and further east. It is so clean. Workers regularly clean beaches and streets. You rarely see plastic bottles or wrappers strewn about. We took a taxi to the Medina 2 days in a row and wandered around. One day into the museum. It was okay.

They did not allow us to check-in even 5 min before 14:00. We arrived abt 12:00, so we could wait at the hotel pool for 2 hours before check-in. One lady at the reception tried to be very friendly and helpful. Yet she insisted of the charge having to be invoiced on credit card on dirhams (not euros as we had booked through ***********), and with the exchange rate we ended up paying 10eur more. One waitress at the hotel bar tried to fool me with giving too little exchange - giving 20 dirhams (2eur) too little when buying some water. I noted about it, she promised to bring later claiming she did not have, but never did, finally I asked it again. I thought this was only a mistake, but later she tried to do the same to my companion, when he went to fetch some beer. So apparently this lady tries to snitch some 2eur from every tourist looking person... Other hotel guests were mostly locals. Breakfast was quite Moroccan food, I like but my travel companions not. We had booked two rooms (4 persons), and both rooms were equipped only for 1 person. So we had to ask for more towels, complimentary water bottle (which were very small bottles) etc. Calling from the room to reception or room service - no answer at all. We had to find cleaners from the aisle to help us. The beds were not good. The water from the bathroom tap and shower is dangerously burning hot when you just run it from the neutral position - it really was steaming!! Also the water pressure at shower changed and was poor. Otherwise ok, luckily the place was clean enough. Location a bit far from Medina/downtown, but there are restaurants also nearby in walking distance. Beach also near, but the big street to cross over is really dangerous (with 6 lanes, people driving like crazy).

The hotel itself is amazing, with many green spaces that are well maintained. The check-in service was quick and smooth, and we got the exact room we had booked. However, there were several issues during our stay. Let's start with the list below: Breakfast: It was a horrible experience. There were so many people, flies (YES flies) and the quality of the food was really bad. You wouldn't even find such low quality in a 2-star hotel. When we were there, it was impossible to enjoy anything due to the presence of flies. There were around 20 flies per table, Im not kidding. The managers seemed useless and did not take any action to solve the issue. The croissants and pain aux chocolats seemed frozen and of poor quality. The same goes for the eggs and bread. As for fruits, the only options available were melon, watermelon, and oranges. There was not a single sign of any berries or mangoes. During the last four days of our stay, we couldn't even find a table as it was extremely crowded, with people queuing for food like in a cafeteria. We had to share the table with other guests. It's a shame for a 5-star hotel. The high chairs for babies were also extremely dirty and should not have been given to guests. Dinner: We had dinner once, and we deeply regretted it. They charged 370 DHs per person, and the food was a disappointment. The homemade burgers we ordered for my wife arrived burned, to the point of being badly charcoaled. The fish tajine was full of bones, and the salad bar was unappealing. Towards the end of our meal, we informed the manager about our experience. He said he would inform the kitchen and they would try to redo the burger, but we were already leaving as it was bedtime for the babies. When the bill arrived (we hadn't left any deposit), I attempted to pay using contactless payment (Apple Pay), but to my surprise, it was not supported throughout the hotel. Since I didn't have my card with me, I told them I would come later to settle the payment for my wife's meal (370 DHs). The manager that night agreed. However, around 1 hour later (at 10 pm), they called us in our room and asked us to settle the bill, disturbing the babies' sleep. It was a nightmare in terms of management. They could have waited until the next day or checked out to collect the payment in a more convenient manner. I don't recommend having any meals at this hotel. On our last day, we went to another 5-star hotel in Tangier for breakfast, and the difference was like night and day. Pool: The pool size was amazing, and the whole area was child-friendly. However, there was a lack of responsible and serious management again. We arrived around 9:30 am with the babies to enjoy our last morning. To our surprise, nobody was there. The pool had no towels, the sunbeds were covered, and the umbrellas were closed. We asked a restaurant waiter to call someone, and we finally received the towels around 9:45 am. 3月底去的，酒店位置是在摩洛哥丹吉爾的郊外山區，風景環境相對不錯。但因為是齋月，所以基本客人不多，而且游泳池在維修中。50美元一個人的自助餐性價比比較低，食物不多而且也不添加，客服人員基本不懂英文，溝通相對比較困難。早餐點了貳杯200毫升的橙汁，收費12美元，有點離譜，當然房間設施達到五星級標準。離開酒店之後發現多收了莫名其妙的250美元，已經向銀行要求退款。整體服務水平衹能在2-3星級水平。不推薦，性價比太低。

Don’t stay here! These people are thieves from start to finish. In October 2022 I booked one room for two nights for January 2023, then a few days prior to arriving, booked an additional room for the two nights. The front desk claimed I never booked the rooms in October. I showed them the confirmation email, which they asked that I forward to them. They checked us in and told us they would sort it out and get back to me. They had me make a partial payment for the stay at check in. The next day they asked me when I was paying for the 2nd night. I told them I would pay anytime and asked if they had sorted out the reservation. They said yes and told me I owed 1,000 euro. Mind you the rooms are less than $100.00 usd per night, so this seems strange that the total could e anything greater than $400.00, but having already made a partial payment, this number was absurd. When I questioned it, they backtracked and told me I owed about 1,600 Durham per night (which was the reservation rate total for two nights for the room booked a few days before arriving). They then told me that same rate applied to the first booking, even though I have an email stating the room was 964 diram per night. They said that email was not from the hotel. I pointed out that it was their company’s email domain. They said Le Royal was a big company and they don’t know who sent that email - really???? At one point they brought someone they said was from central reservations. He just kept pointing to a piece of paper and refusing to listen or discuss the issue. I opened my laptop and showed them they are marketing the rate for 890dirham that night (about 100 dirham less than what my confirmation listed) and asked why I would pay twice that…it was at this point the stupid little man from ‘central reservations’ ran out the front door, leaving me again to deal with the front desk. The staff were rude, indignant and unprofessional, but clearly skilled thrives - Le Royal should be proud of the team they have assemble at this outdated antique. Nothing nice or impressive about this hotel, but with the added thievery, definitely a place to avoid. Unless you really want to seek crooks in action, sleeping in the streets of Tangier would be a better experience than this place. Save your money, self respect, and time by staying elsewhere. Worst hotel experience in Morocco, ever (and I have stayed in a lot of Moroccan hotels)!

The place granted 5 stars but my rating is 3 stars. PROS: - Located 15 mins walking to the Tanger corniche, and in very quiet area. Hope the dogs not around during your stay. - The room is huge. - Friendly and supportive staff. - Huge breakfast area with humble people serve you, so smiley people. - Pool area is great for chilling and have a cup of moroccan tea. CONS: - I’m sorry but I don’t see this resort as 5 stars. - corridor light sensor is weak, it took long time to switch the light on.

Dar Jasmine is a beautiful property with amazing views of the colorful village of Chefchaouen. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Call them upon arrival to the parking area below and they will carry your bags up the steps for you. We stayed 2 nights and took a guided walking tour of the town during our full day there. We had all of our meals at the hotel and I have no regrets about that. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. In addition, we had stunning sunset views from our outdoor table on the terrace. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very romantic, as is the entire hotel. I highly recommend Dar Jasmine! The only downside is that if you are unable to climb the stairs, then this is not the right place for you. There is no ramp...and there are a LOT of stairs.

We stayed for one night as part of a tour group in March 2024. It was rainy the day we arrived but that did not dampen our mood as we arrived after climbing a flight of winding steps to reach the hotel. It was a small quaint hotel unlike those big establishments and it was cozy and warm when we enter the hotel. I felt myself being inside a cave as the decor and ambience were so beautiful and the peace that is away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms were spacious and clean though the fittings were a bit dated and I guess it all adds up to the charm of the place. As the place is rather compact we can actually hear the voices of our neighbour talking but it was no big deal. There are no elevators so it will be challenging if you have to lug your heavy bags to your room so best to travel light if visiting this city. The breakfast and dinner were more than adequate and clearly reflects the culture of Moroccan food. It was tasty and delicious. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel for the experience.

The location of Hotel Parador is very good, just a gentle walk to the edges of the Medina and also a selection of restaurants. The room was not very big, but comfortable size for one night. The wifi worked well in the room. There was a fair amount of noise from the hallway. No alcohol served here. Breakfast was average. No fruit and watery scrambled eggs.

The staff was telling us our room is not big enough for 2 adults + 1 kid , but actually we booked 2 rooms for 4 adults & 1 kid. And the bed is big enough for even 3 adults. So he asked me to cancel the booking and rebook it in the hotel. Of course, we have to add 200 dirhams. We only have warm water to do shower. Toilet is small. Air-con is all in Chinese not working properly. Buffet breakfast is really bad in quality & choices. We rather pay money to eat outside. The only thing we like this hotel is view but you won’t be able to enjoy good food. So there is no point to come again.

We stayed here for 2 nights and arrived quite late to check in on the first night. Location- 10/10 In the heart of the Chefchaouen medina. It helps if you use Google maps or you'll definitely get lost. Hotel/Riad - 3/10 This place needs a refurb. It could be that they were going for the traditional riad design but this just seemed like it was designed 100 years ago. Certain parts need an upgrade. Cleanliness wise it wasn't too bad. Although on the first night, there was bad odour coming from the bathroom. Service - 5/10 The owner had bad attitude and just seemed miserable the whole time. Then I realised that's his personality so I don't think he means to be horrible, it's just the way he is. He offered to sell his riad to me, and has plans to relocate. So I think he is just bored and fed up of running his riad. Breakfast - 10/10 Cooked fresh to order. The usual traditional moroccan breads, pastries, spreads and eggs. Value for money - 8/10 Cheap and cheerful. Okay for a very short stay and you don't plan to sit in all day There weren't many other options around as the town itself is very quiet in terms of tourists.

We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour group. Located in the Medina, we walked in from the main road, with our suitcases brought to the hotel by private courier. Otherwise, you’d have to drag your suitcase through the Mattie, hilly Medina streets. Our room was small: room for a very firm queen bed, a bureau and 2 straight backed chairs. Others in our group had much larger rooms. Our small windows faced outside, which meant street noise at night and in the early morning (roosters crowing and call to prayer) but this was fairly minor. Others in our group had windows opening into internal hallways. Cute Moroccan decor. Shower took a long time to warm up. Minor adjustments were needed as it came up to temperature to avoid a scalding. Water pressure was low and varied by water temperature. Good breakfast options: plain omelettes, goat cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumber (both peeled), Moroccan bread.

I stayed here in the single room which was very comfortable. The shower was hot, everything was clean and breakfast on the terrace sets you up for the day. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Casa Sabila is not far from the main square or where taxis drop for the Hotel Parador, just take the path up the hill and when you get to a drinking fountain at the bottom of steps you are there. The main route outside the hotel is well travelled but quiet after 9pm. I would definitely recommend here to anyone wishing to visit Chefchaouen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa Rita. It’s not right in the Medina which for us was a bonus as we like to stay away from the action in quieter neighborhoods. It’s a short cab ride ($2) from the Medina or a 30 minute walk. We visited at a non peak tourist time so we were given a choice of rooms. They are spacious…bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and kitchenette. Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and well appointed. There are 2 outside rooftop terraces for relaxing and nice views. The breakfast was incredible. We had the choice to have it on our room or on the balcony. So many offerings delivered to our room…a lovey over easy egg, crepes, rolls, cheesed, lovely fresh fruit, olives, fresh squeezed orange juice. It’s a guest house, not hotel, so the desk is not staffed so if you want full concierge service you might want to choose a hotel. But, we were warmly greeted and oriented and given keys to the outside door/gate as well as our room so we could come and go at any time. I highly recommend this beautiful, charming, place for your stay in Chefchaouen!
