Hotel Dengan Gym di Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan

Miyazaki Kanko Hotel stands along Tachibana Koen-dori Street (1-1-1 Matsuyama, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, 880-8512) overlooking the Oyodo River. It is a large, well-established hotel. There is a large hot spring bath on the first floor of the West Wing, and on the second floor is Shokusai Kenbi Ichiboku Ichiso, where the breakfast buffet is located. A dinner buffet is also available. The hotel is old, so there is nothing new about it, but the rooms are spacious, the utility room is spacious, and the bathtub is also large. There is only an AC outlet for power, no USB, and the AC at the desk has to be plugged in through a wall socket at the foot of the desk, which gives it a sense of history, but this is not a problem.

The ambience is nice, a far drive to reach the hotel. We had the buffet dinner, authentic Japanese food and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Hot bath is nice. The hotel room is clean, and the hotel staff is friendly and polite.

Huge place with great views. Only spent one night there and didn’t get to explore much. Nice shops on the ground floor, a couple of restaurants, Onsen and a pool. Rooms were very big, a bit outdated but nice.

I used this hotel to go back to my father's hometown. It seems they also have a wedding hall. It's far from the station and downtown, but they offered to take a taxi when I checked in, which was helpful. I had a drink in the lounge and had a comfortable stay. There were some issues here and there, like adjusting the lamp in the room and mold in the corner of the bathroom. I think this is a good hotel, considering that Miyazaki has a lot of old hotels.

This was our second family trip to the cottage. Even though our children are now older, we still had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves. The breakfast was also delicious and we were very satisfied. We would like to come again.
