We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

I’ve just returned to my home country, and I’m already missing my stay at this Dali hotel! The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from Dali Ancient City. What’s even better is that the hotel isn’t directly inside the ancient city, making it super convenient to order Didi rides, which can pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel’s doorstep. Since we stayed for two nights, the owner generously provided us with a pick-up service, which made our arrival so much smoother. As female travelers, we truly appreciated how attentive, caring, and thoughtful the staff were throughout our stay. The area around the hotel is very convenient. At night, the road fills up with roadside stalls, making it easy to find food. As Muslims, we were delighted to discover halal food options nearby, which added so much ease to our trip. The room itself was warm, spacious, and cozy—with probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept in! If you’re visiting Dali, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
