Hotel Hot Springs di Dali

We had a lovely stay at little dolphin hotel. Mr Zhao was lovely and very friendly and helpful and there are great views from the roof. We had a room with a private hot tub on a terrace which was heaven to relax in at 40 degrees. Mr Zhao helped us plan where to visit and made a lovely noodle breakfast along with homemade pickles that were delicious. The bed was very comfortable. He is like a kind father, telling us to stay safe and showing us around. Only consideration is it's quite a long taxi ride from little dolphin to Dali ancient town on the other side of erhai lake but Didi is easy to use and inexpensive by British standards (about £8 for an hour's ride) ☺️

Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

對比好幾家酒店，本來想住海邊的，朋友極力推介這家，果然讓我中了個大彩票哈哈！ 全白房子像地中海某國，加上2.8米大床軟到想直接焊在這！落地窗前是那種豪宅才有的嵌入式泡澡池，可以想象端杯紅酒愜意地躺在温暖的池中，輕啜杯中紅酒透過落地窗望向遠處洱海的浪漫場景。 原本訂的是688基礎房，結果被房東塞了豪華觀景大套間，這波血賺啊！ 樓下院心還藏着一個小泳池，可惜天涼沒敢跳，哈哈。 自駕來超順，214國道拐進來就幾百米，停車也比較方便。 最絕的是晚上！趕上老闆搞party，被邀請蹭了頓烤肉，沒花一分錢，還結識幾個成都小姐姐，簡直太愛了～ 聽前台小哥哥説後山還有德國小木屋，先記在願望小本本上，下次帶姐妹團一起嘗試一下！ 祝老闆生意爆好，下次來還想蹭飯！嘿嘿……

Outstanding service and room quality! Really appreciative of Judy and the other customer service staff who went out of their way to make the stay truly phenomenal! Being up the mountainside, the view was amazing and the villa grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Any issues and queries we had were answered promptly and resolved fast. It’s a short car ride to the old town, and it’s easy to call a car at the villa. Would recommend this place for travellers who want a place to relax and enjoy their time in Dali! Thanks Judy!! (:

The environment of this hotel is very good, and the uncles and aunts are extremely enthusiastic, giving a feeling of returning home. It's very warm, and when you open the window, you can see the Erhai Lake。 There is a little cat named Xiaoliu in Mingsu, who is also very cute and clingy。On the first day we arrived, our uncles and aunties even greeted us for dinner and personally cooked for us to eat。 Here, we can experience a different Dali style! Really super recommended!

Very nice owners and spacious room. We even got hot milk in the evening and plenty of drinks to stay hydrated and they helped us carry the suitcases. The room and hot tub itself is really nice, but the view shown on the booking itself is not the same as the real view. I attached a picture taken there to show you the real view. You can still see the pagoda, but note that it is hardly visibly in the dark (no lights on it) and there is an electricity cable in front of it, which makes the view less. For the rest the stay has been really nice and they did everything they could to make our stay pleasant, so I would really recommend it.
