PPengguna TetamuWe had a lovely stay at little dolphin hotel. Mr Zhao was lovely and very friendly and helpful and there are great views from the roof. We had a room with a private hot tub on a terrace which was heaven to relax in at 40 degrees. Mr Zhao helped us plan where to visit and made a lovely noodle breakfast along with homemade pickles that were delicious. The bed was very comfortable. He is like a kind father, telling us to stay safe and showing us around. Only consideration is it's quite a long taxi ride from little dolphin to Dali ancient town on the other side of erhai lake but Didi is easy to use and inexpensive by British standards (about £8 for an hour's ride) ☺️

We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse.
Oriental aesthetics in every corner
The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere.
The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined.
Comfort with thoughtful details
Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay.
Warm and attentive service
From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore.
The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day.
A peaceful location near the old town
The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature.
More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. If you’re looking to experience the slower, more peaceful side of Dali, this is definitely a place worth staying.

ZZuomengmengjianzaishuijue從頭到尾衹能説十分滿意，去之前挑民宿真的挑了很久，很多民宿放的照騙海景圖和實際情況都不一樣（從住客評價看出來的），來這家之前我也有擔憂但是打開房門那一刻真的覺得這個景色值這個價。
入住期間服務也很滿意，到店離店服務人員都會幫着把行李帶下去，外賣下午茶會送到房間，早餐的米線很好吃！不過房間裏有些區域可能網速有點不穩定，應該是房間太大的原因，但也不耽誤我打王者哈哈哈，總之就是很滿意！

MM2dew9xvd****對比好幾家酒店，本來想住海邊的，朋友極力推介這家，果然讓我中了個大彩票哈哈！
全白房子像地中海某國，加上2.8米大床軟到想直接焊在這！落地窗前是那種豪宅才有的嵌入式泡澡池，可以想象端杯紅酒愜意地躺在温暖的池中，輕啜杯中紅酒透過落地窗望向遠處洱海的浪漫場景。
原本訂的是688基礎房，結果被房東塞了豪華觀景大套間，這波血賺啊！
樓下院心還藏着一個小泳池，可惜天涼沒敢跳，哈哈。
自駕來超順，214國道拐進來就幾百米，停車也比較方便。
最絕的是晚上！趕上老闆搞party，被邀請蹭了頓烤肉，沒花一分錢，還結識幾個成都小姐姐，簡直太愛了～
聽前台小哥哥説後山還有德國小木屋，先記在願望小本本上，下次帶姐妹團一起嘗試一下！
祝老闆生意爆好，下次來還想蹭飯！嘿嘿……

PPengguna TetamuThe environment of this hotel is very good, and the uncles and aunts are extremely enthusiastic, giving a feeling of returning home. It's very warm, and when you open the window, you can see the Erhai Lake。
There is a little cat named Xiaoliu in Mingsu, who is also very cute and clingy。On the first day we arrived, our uncles and aunties even greeted us for dinner and personally cooked for us to eat。
Here, we can experience a different Dali style! Really super recommended!

After staying in the heart of Lijiang’s Ancient City, it was refreshing to be up in the mountains here—peaceful, scenic, and really fresh air—but still only about a 10-minute Didi ride into Dali Ancient Town when we wanted cobbled streets, fried cheese, rose cakes, and all the amazing food.
We came here for our honeymoon and booked a hot spring villa, and to our surprise, we were upgraded to an even larger villa. The staff also surprised us with a bottle of red wine and a delicious cream cake—a really thoughtful touch that made our stay feel special.
The hot spring itself was perfect. After a day of walking the Ancient City or biking around Erhai Lake, relaxing in the steaming water was heavenly. The villa’s private yard was beautifully designed and made for the perfect chill spot. The whole resort is landscaped with care—gardens, ponds, and mountain views everywhere you turn.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied—plenty of choices to start the day right. It was all so nice that we extended our stay by a couple of days because we just didn’t want to leave.
Another highlight is the location right next to the Chongsheng Temple complex. The temples are stunning and absolutely worth a visit, and at night you can even hear the bells ringing, which adds a magical vibe to the stay.
All in all, Clouds Villa was everything we could have hoped for and more. I honestly wish I could live there forever.

CChangbudadexionghaiziss設施：房間內有泡池，這一點確實還不錯，就是泡着有點單調，建議老闆優化一下，可以在客廳有個投影之類的；房間內確實有小冰箱，前台也有牛奶、咖啡自己去接，其實還不如升級優化變成迷你吧，飲料成本也不貴，給客人感覺就會不一樣。
衞生：衞生還不錯，阿姨打掃的蠻乾淨。
環境：泳池空空沒有水，門口的玩偶手指已經破了，二樓平台有個躺椅是壞的。
服務：1、當天我們10:30左右到的民宿，一個人也沒有，但是我們提前溝通過，大概11點到，店家留言説找不到可以打電話來接，結果電話沒人接，自己找上門的。確實我們到的比較早一點，到了自己在院子坐了一會，阿姨打掃完我們去詢問入住問題，阿姨馬上聯繫老闆處理得很快，老闆也很不錯，馬上安排了房間；
2、再説説早餐吧，每個店都有自己的特色，仙府是配餐制，每人一份。希望老闆增加一點當地特色，比如米線、餌塊之類的，不要再上那個砂糖橘了，裏面都乾巴得不要不要的。
3、歡迎水果，是兩個🍊，兩個乳酸菌飲料，一些糖和餅乾小零食。其實直接放切過的西瓜、菠蘿什麼的，或者酸嘢這種當地特色更好一些。
總體老闆不錯的，阿姨也挺不錯的。希望老闆能越做越好。

SSpengyapThe location of the room is quite near the Dali Old Town, within walking distance.
The cleanliness of the room is fair as the property is not very new, and the flooring has aged. There isn’t hooks or rack in the bathroom to place clothes. However, the two guys at the front desk, Ah Kun and Xiao Guo are super helpful, providing very good service during our stay there. They helped to carry our luggage up to the room, and to the car when we checked-out. They are very responsive through WeChat whenever we need help. Also, the breakfast prepared by the staff is good, with mixian, porridge, egg, corn, mantou and tomatoes.
We feel warm by the nice people in the home stay, will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wish to stay near the old town.
