這是一次很愉快的旅居體驗，酒店的環境很好，大堂門口有一個種滿各種花草樹木的園子，給人以一種很温馨的感覺，暖心的老闆還熱情的介紹他精心打扮的花園，讓我們大開眼界。早餐也免費配送，酒店老闆親自下廚，做的都是當地的特色菜，讓我們足不出户就能體味當地的風情。早餐的樓層是在樓頂，外面游泳池，蒼天映在水面都在吃早餐時就能盡收眼底。房間的超大落地窗讓我們可以看到洱海的美景，一望無際。房間裏面的配飾十分齊全，洗浴間，廁所都非常大，滿滿的高級感。因為是別墅區，所以非常安靜，房間隔音非常好。

Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse, Dali | A poetic stay in a century-old Bai courtyard We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse. Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

Perfect two rooms right in the middle of the old town. Great location, amazing soaker tub, and well equipped bathroom. Very comfortable bed and lots of space everywhere. Quiet, great for sleep after long days exploring. Very nice terrace to chill at and catch some sun. And there's a cafe with the best Americano we had in Dali across the alley. Finally, very polite and courteous staff, especially Liu. Potential improvements: tv in the main room would be nice, and a bit more variety for breakfasts (same exact meal for 7 days was a bit boring). Hope to stay here again one day. Thanks!

對比好幾家酒店，本來想住海邊的，朋友極力推介這家，果然讓我中了個大彩票哈哈！ 全白房子像地中海某國，加上2.8米大床軟到想直接焊在這！落地窗前是那種豪宅才有的嵌入式泡澡池，可以想象端杯紅酒愜意地躺在温暖的池中，輕啜杯中紅酒透過落地窗望向遠處洱海的浪漫場景。 原本訂的是688基礎房，結果被房東塞了豪華觀景大套間，這波血賺啊！ 樓下院心還藏着一個小泳池，可惜天涼沒敢跳，哈哈。 自駕來超順，214國道拐進來就幾百米，停車也比較方便。 最絕的是晚上！趕上老闆搞party，被邀請蹭了頓烤肉，沒花一分錢，還結識幾個成都小姐姐，簡直太愛了～ 聽前台小哥哥説後山還有德國小木屋，先記在願望小本本上，下次帶姐妹團一起嘗試一下！ 祝老闆生意爆好，下次來還想蹭飯！嘿嘿……

The private hot spring pool is incredible—constantly at the ideal temperature for a relaxing soak. The room is modern and sleek, comes with auto blinds, and it was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The staff went above and beyond. Their thoughtful gesture of providing herbal drinks before we traveled to higher altitude was just one example of their attentive service. Highly recommend for a luxurious and relaxing retreat!

I read a lot of reviews before coming here, and they all said that the boss is very kind. Indeed he is a very nice person, when we arrived here on the first day, it was a bit late and inconvenient to go out for dinner. The boss took the initiative to invite us to have dinner together, he prepared six or seven dishes, we really enjoyed the dinner together, It felt like home. We were very happy to stay here the room is very spacious and clean, due to the villa being located on a hillside, it is very windy at night. The location is quite a strategy, not too far from the train station and the airport. Before we left, the boss prepared us delicious rice noodles for breakfast and we finished the whole bowl. Thank you very much you gave us a bottle of pickled mustard as souvenirs back home, I really love it

Exceeds expectation. Staff was kind enough to upgrade our room so that we will not be staying near the large tour group which may be nosy. Our room was very spacious. Location was ok, walkable from high speed train station

Had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this establishment in December. Was rather busy hence this late review. The room was extremely nice, the staff very accommodating. Only thing is its location - there were some road works... Hence, accessibility was limited. I should guess that all would be brilliant once the works are completed. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Lijiang.
