This was my first time visiting Varanasi & we wanted to pre book our stay to avoid any hassles. After doing an extensive research on the Internet and speaking with various vendors we finally came across Baba Guest House. The owner Gopal Jha was extremely polite and helpful with sharing the right information and he also showed us the room via video call. Baba Guest House is conveniently located on Munshi Ghat and all major attractions like Dasashwamedh Ghat & Kashi Vishwanath temple are at walking distance. All the ghats in Varanasi are well connected and you can just walk by them by exiting the guest house. The rooms are clean and comfortable and as this is a family business we experienced a very friendly vibe and Gopal Ji and his family were amazing hosts. We celebrated Holi at the property as they had arranged a small event on their rooftop and it was the best Holi celebration ever. Great location, awesome Wi-Fi speed, safe and secure accommodation. There is a rooftop cafe called Aadha Aadha which serves a decent spread. We totally recommend staying at Baba Guest House for a comfortable and memorable experience in Varanasi.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed the rooftop for lunch! Very nice quality for the price you pay and a warm welcome from everyone As you can see on the picture, the view on the Taj from the rooftop is just incredible! I would definitely recommend you staying here if looking for a hostel

The best guest house I've been in India, clean, excellent service, everyone very kind and very very professional. Totally recomend it! Also the location ia the best, you can't be more closer to the taj mahal and you have a good view from the restaurant

Tesis, Varanasinin dar sokaklarında olduğu için tuk tuk, taxi içeri girmiyor ama endişelenmeyin tesisin genç beyi sizinle ilgilenir :) Tuk tuk sizi cadde üzerinde indiriyor ve tesisin konumunu bulmak biraz karışık sokaklar labirent gibi bu yüzden lütfen tesisten önceden yardım isteyin. Tesisin odaları temiz ve ortak banyoları var. Teras kafesinde dilediğiniz yemeği isteyebilirsiniz ve yemekleri çok güzel. Ghatlar yürüyerek 1-2 dakika mesafede, ganj nehri kıyısında ölü yakma törenlerini izlemek inanılmaz bir deneyimdi. her akşam ganj nehri kıyısında, ganj nehri tanrısı gangha için tören yapılıyor mutlaka katılmalısınız. Nehir boyunca birçok yerel satıcı görebilirsiniz, aynı za***da yerel pazar otele çok yakın. Tesis yetkilisi çok ilgili o aynı za***da sizin tüm biletlerinizi ayarlayabilir. Herşey için çok teşekkür ederim, maymunları benim için öp :)

A*** and his guesthouse are the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the beauty that Agra has to offer. Just a half hour walk from the Taj Mahal, the rooms are very clean and the staff beyond helpful. Too bad we couldn’t stay one whole night as we had to catch an overnight train to Varanasi. There is no other place I would be staying if in Agra. Awesome rooftop too!

Der große Vorteil des Hotels ist die Lage. Das Hotel liegt in einer kleinen Gasse im pulsierenden Varanasi. Von dort aus ist es nicht weit vom weltberühmten Dashashwamedh Ghat, wo die Abendzeremonie stattfindet. Das Hotelzimmer war klein und von der Sauberkeit entspricht es dem indischen Standard. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr herzlich und vermittelt auch einen zuverlässigen Boots***n für den Sonnenaufgang. Der Besotzer hat mit uns persönlich die Walking Tour gemacht und da haben wir viel von Varanasi gesehen was uns sonst verborgen geblieben wäre. Die Zentrale und trotzdem eher ruhige Lage sind die Hauptargumente w***m das Hotel empfehlenswert ist.

Devender and the staff are amazing. Nothing is a problem for them. We had been staying in 4 star hotels and the simplicity and comfort of Da Bungalow exceeded our previous experiences. Comfortable beds, good bathrooms and hot water always on. Aircon that works..... Everything about the rooms was just right. A beautiful garden setting to relax in, with rooftop or garden dining. Food - what can you say.... some of the best meals we had experienced in India... their kitchen is amazing. Great breakfasts !! We cannot recommend this property highly enough .... Do yourself a favour and avoid the hotels in the city and near the Taj. Stay just 15 minutes away, in another peaceful world at Da Bungalow !!!

最終的にオーナー様にご親切頂きとても助かました。ネット上の口コミが悪く不安がありました。折しもホーリー祭りの後だったので、宿の状況にも一抹の不安がありました。案の定、当日飛び入りと思われたのか「部屋はないよ」と言われ予約確認フォームを見せると、希望のドミトリーではなく「デラックスにするけど追加払ってくれる？」と言われたので「予算厳しいから無理だしソファーでも良いからドミトリーお願いします」と押し通しました。結果的に「ドミトリー汚いしスタッフと同室だから」と無料でアップグレードと水１本無料で頂きました。部屋はインドでは良い方だと思いますが、若干蚊が多かったです。後、サイトにあった朝食オプションは、そもそもなかったので、素泊まりがいいと思います。ひとまず良かったですし、親切頂いたのでお礼に評点高く書きましたが、実際こういうゴタゴタがあったので、お含みおき下さい。
