The place is located before the main market area of Darjeeling and is more of a hotel rather than homestay. Attached bathroom with geyser and electric kettle and room service. The wifi worked very well, I was able to get some office work done. The main market is accessible by shared taxis for Rs 15, which was fine for us because the main town is very crowded and here we could take walks and wake up to the view of the hills and Mt kanchenjunga. The staff went extra mile to help us and prepared customized food for my aged mother. I would always stay here whenever I come back to Darjeeling

I stayed 2 nights, ac was in good working condition and geyser also was, the receptionist was very friendly, the location was in heart of new market, uber taxis cab be found in the nearby lane, there are tea stall nearby, and fast food available, i recommend this hotel. Bathroom was clean tv working condition, bed was comfortable, nice stay, staffs were helpful

Love the stay here. Though it was just an overnight, i had a pleasant stay. Far away from the madding crowd and hustle and bustle. Clean and comfortable. Next time we visit kolkata we will definitely stay here again.

The place is good to stay if you want to catch early morning flight. But the name should mentioned as swagatam international in make my trip instead of swagatam international guest house. I had to work hard to find the hotel in uber. So make my trip should correct the name of the hotel.

This is a great place for families on a budget. Their rooms are are large with high ceiling and the building is from British times. It can be rated as a decent guest house just 200 yards from New Market, 400 yards from the Museum and 500 yards from The Park street. Beds are large and extra bed can fit in easily. Attached large size washroom with hot water facilities. Rooms are air conditioned and good for family stay or short visit by executives on work. ***y food joints around street food small entries and decent restaurants within few minutes walk. I would rate it as 2 star. Housekeeping is ok. However no room service as nearby food joints deliver to the room of requested to the reception I charge. Clean and decent stay.

We had been staying in Gangtok and wanted a hotel near Bagdogra airport for an early morning departure. The rooms are clean and with good comfortable beds. It is very quiet, as it's set well back from the main road. The food is homemade very very tasty and extremely good value. With the airport just a 5 minute taxi ride away, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.
