Lovely setting / we had one of the newer rooms which was LUSH! Fireplace, bath tub, excellent views etc so don’t skimp out when selecting. All in all a great place for an Ecolodge. Easy to do the 90 min walking loop through the valley - NO tour needed! Just walk and go! You’ll see 100 people in the valley with tour groups as you pass. Only fundamental issue for the hotel is their room service. We wanted to order a snack - fried corn (which costs 70k Dong). They informed any and all room service has a charge of 200k Dong fixed. This was just slightly frustrating as a matter of principle so being British and obviously passive aggressive we ate out instead. That rule should be fundamentally scrapped as a policy matter.

I actually didn’t stay here. When i came to checkin, the receptionist said there is no room for me (booked and paid online) i came from Noi bai airport to Sapa, i reached around 5.30am at the hotel lobby. I told the receptionist that i will stay only until the checkout time (11am). He said that the person who’s incharge for the booking is drunk and he/she didn’t inform him (night shift). The hotel don’t have computer on the reception area, maybe that why he cannot check and he also look like he have eyesight problem. Bless him. He handle the situation very well. He should get a raise. Dear owner, give him a raise. The person who drunk should be fired, he/she give other staff trouble. This happened today morning 26/6/2024 btw. I gave poor rating for the hotel service but for the receptionist, 5 star.

My stay at Mega View Homestay in Sapa was an unforgettable experience. The host went above and beyond to make my 3-day adventure as a backpacker truly special. His warm hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The cozy and well-kept rooms offered stunning views of the mountains, making each morning a breathtaking start to the day. The host’s guidance was invaluable—he helped plan my treks,ensuring I experienced the best of Sapa. The package offered was excellent, providing great value with personalized attention. I highly recommend this homestay for an authentic Sapa experience! thankyou brother. see you again.

This is really an amazing place! We had lousy weather but Lang gave us several options to make it a trip to remember. We ended up being able to do a nice walk and experienced some other great things that fitted the wishes of my family. Our guide was amazing and we were lucky enough to be invited to lunch with her family for a special occasion. The accommodation at Langs was beautiful and comfortable, we loved the food. All in all an amazing experience. Highly recommended!!

We had a blissful stay at this highly regarded lodging. You couldn’t ask for a better location in the picturesque Ta Van Valley away from the frenzy and bright lights of Sapa. Rose and Rex (the proprietors) are two of the most genuine and adorable people you could hope to meet. They have developed a homely, quirky and comfortable residence with cosy rooms, intricate soft furnishings, and elegant bathrooms. Rose more than lives up to her reputation as a legendary cook. We enjoyed all our food but her spicy eggplant and the family banquet she prepared for us were real highlights of our trip. As a result, we had practically all our meals there. The portions and prices were far too generous for the prices charged. In addition to satisfying our stomachs, Rose took care of many other aspects of our trip (pick up and drop off at Sapa, day trek and lunch with a fantastic local guide Mimi - highly recommended) and even accommodated us in a room for an extra half day after check out without charge so we could relax and freshen up before our night bus. She was full of helpful tips and advice which helped us to make the most of our time in Sapa. The staff (and Bailey her dog) were all very sweet, fun and welcoming. Even though we were only there for 3 days, by the end we felt like part of the family and were sad to leave. We would love to return one day.

It was a wonderful stay with a clean room and easy to access to all places. The room had a very nice view, you can use the heat on the AC which is important during winter.

Great location, there are coffee shops, food and other essentials you need around the area for a vacation. The lake is just outside the homestay which is great. The room is ok for a cheap price, but the only issue I'm only concern with was about the bedsheets, it got small stains and even the pillows. There were no soap in the bath as well that I had to buy in a store. Other services is superb 👍👍 Overall experience, 8 out of 10

After a warm welcome by host (Nam) we revelled in our surrounds - the rooms are inviting, beds are wonderfully comfortable and breakfast is a real treat... be sure to order the omelette. The open fireplaces in common areas are such a homely touch. Nam is an excellent host who can make anything happen: organise transport, tours, laundry and the list goes on. A home-cooked dinner is available in the intimate dining room for US$10pp and it’s worth every cent. If you’re planning a trip to SaPa so not miss this gem of a property that’s a beautiful blend of East and West. Thank you for your hospitality, Nam.

Great location in a lovely village, the staff were very helpful in booking us a taxi to leave. All in all a nice stay, however the rooms are very cold with no radiator and a slightly rubbish electric blanket. Also to get to the toilet you have to go outside and to go to the showers you have to go outside and go downstairs. So okay as a stay but defo not too comfy.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt, war jedoch mit Google Maps leicht zu finden und der Weg dorthin wird mit einem wundervollen Ausblick aus dem Zimmer auf die Reisfelder und Berge herum belohnt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und bot alles was man benötigt. Man kann im Homestay sehr empfehlenswerte Trekkingtouren buchen und auch beim Kauf von Tickets für die Gondelbahn/Bussen hilft das Personal gerne. Generell war die Familie extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und spricht perfekt Englisch. Sie lud uns zum Abendessen ein, ließ uns unser Gepäck auch nach dem Checkout unterstellen und bot uns vor unserer Abreise sogar noch die Möglichkeit, uns in einem anderen Zimmer zu duschen. Zusammenfassend war es eine wunderschöne Erfahrung, würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen!
