Our stay was absolutely fabulous. We were even offered a complimentary pickup from the station, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The room was bïeautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped, featuring heated floors, a multi-temperature water dispenser, a large-screen Tv, dehumidifier, etc.
What impressed us most was the exceptional hospitality—the service truly went above and beyond our expectations. Breakfast was delicious, and we were delighted by the tasty snacks delivered straight to our room.
We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this hotel! As an added bonus, the host speaks English, which made communication easy and comfortable.

What a great boutique hotel. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the North Gate wall entrance and we walked about 200 m to the hotel. We were greeted by Ming Xia. She gave us recommendations on what to see. She even arranged the Hanfu photo shoot which was excellent. The hotel is a small (about 9 rooms) but beautiful, spacious & clean. We tried the western & chinese breakfast. Both was very well presented and tasted great. The hotel is beautifuly located. Definitely recommend this hotel. Than you Ming Xia!

臨時決定來忻州古城，真的特別幸運選到這家花鳥魚鄉民宿！老闆人特別熱心靠譜，還特意幫我盯着攜程退房房源。半夜12點一看到有客人退房，立馬第一時間聯繫我幫忙預留，順利訂到了超心儀的狀元房。古城門口有交通管制不讓進，老闆特意騎着電瓶車出來接，貼心又暖心。民宿環境超有氛圍感，房間收拾得乾乾淨淨、整潔舒適，二樓景緻尤其漂亮，特別適合帶孩子入住，風景絕美！體驗感滿分，下次來忻州古城還選這家，強烈推薦給大家！

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are helpful and the lady boss has been extremely friendly, helpful and kind. She accommodated my need to modify my booking. Also, this is my first experience with the fully automated toilet system. The seat cover would open and close itself as one opens and closes the toilet door. I was staying in room 307, it has a lovely view of the city wall night light. 😊

A place that allowed us to rejuvenate and sleep well! It has a hot spring tub in the room. Bed is a king size bed. Toilet has a sewer smell though, so that is one minus point. Service is awesome. Service staffs were helping us to bring our luggage down and up the car. They also helped navigate our car into the old city. We appreciate the free snacks and arrival drinks. The disposable toothbrush is surprisingly usable. The location is near to food street; the staff will gladly direct you to it.

住過最有性價比的酒店！！！前台兩天兩位小姐姐人都非常好 酒店裡還有ktv和電競房 非常適合和朋友一起出來玩 進到房間很驚喜 送了水果和飲料 衞生間有濕廁紙 一次性用品都是環保的木製的 而且沐浴露也很好聞 前台小姐姐真的超級超級好啊 有機會來大同的話一定還來住！！！！非常推薦 讓我們的旅行結束的很圓滿

這次帶媽媽來忻州為了泡泡温泉先説位置非常好在古城裡打車也很方便 然後酒店會有專車在古城接送
這次定的家庭房前台小姐姐給做個升級獨棟別墅
如果家庭出行真的非常非常推薦這個別墅
樓上樓下帶父母很方便 也特別的出片
如果你對酒店出片要求高那選她家準沒錯了室內外兩個温泉拍照都很出片 純温泉水我媽媽腿不好泡完説非常舒服.
再説一下服務 服務真的特別特別好 前台工作人員彭彭 笑笑 來來 還有幾個沒叫上名字的工作人員都非常非常好 全程行李我們沒有提過 24小時服務隨叫隨到 走的時候還列隊送我們簡直是太太太暖心
下次還會去忻州為了在住一次安米塔

5月4日入住雲縵兮，感覺非常好。小院設計的很漂亮，綠蔭池魚，檐下小座，萌萌的小貓，可愛的兔子都是吸引孩子的亮點，每個轉角都有小巧思，步入院子，感覺時光都慢下來了。工作人員熱情又熱心，感覺很舒服。房間整潔，床品舒適，而且民宿的位置超級好，出門沒幾步就融入小吃街的人流中，左轉就是泰山廟巷，在五一擁擠的人流中，幾次返回民宿休息都讓這趟美食之旅不是那麼疲憊，強烈推薦

Initially it was a bit hard to find the location as the hostel is not directly accessible by car. You need to get to a gantry and request for it to be lifted. But overall the communication with the hostel was easy. The room was spacious and comfortable for a night stay. The hostel provided nice breakfast.

LLiuMKThe hot spring hotel has been awesome. The room is very big, super clean and bright enough in areas like the bathroom. It is warm enough even in winter due to the underfloor heating,, so I have to turn off the room air con heating.
The hotel front desk team is even more awesome. They are always ready to help with all kinds of queries and needs. When we were leaving, they even gave us a bottle of local vinegar as a gift.
The hot spring is not located inside the hotel like the Japanese onsen. It is a couple of hundred meters away, but the hotel provided an electric buggy to ferry you to and fro. The hot spring area itself has a changing room, where you can out on the bathrobe before you step out in the open and into the hot spring. So even in winter, it is still manageable and you should not catch a cold. Some regular hot spring users even put on their down feather jacket over the bathrobe, and that surely is more effective.
There are even security personnel at the hot spring to make sure there is help if you get into difficulties.
Breakfast is also good. The hotel also uses the buggy to fetch you to a posh looking restaurant in the hotel vicinity. Food is good, and not too expensive. There is also a small retail outlet next to the restaurant. The prices there are very reasonable.

GGuest UserMy friends and I love simple, bright, and fresh decor, which is why we ultimately booked this B&B on Ctrip. The pick-up and drop-off service was perfect for us non-driving independent travelers; the car took us to the entrance of the ancient town, and then the shuttle bus from the ancient town dropped us right at the hotel entrance. This was so much better than dragging our luggage through the ancient town like other tourists. Although the B&B isn't on the main street of the ancient town, it's a short walk from everywhere, which is very convenient, and it offers a quiet retreat from the bustle. The butler's service was incredibly thoughtful; they gave us a map of the ancient town and even explained how to explore and where to eat. Even though it's a renovated old house, the interior feels very modern, and the hygiene is excellent. They provide disposable bath towels, regular towels, toilet seat covers, and even bathtub liners. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with attentive service, definitely recommended.

GGuest UserMy stay at Futiandahua Rain Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is superb, right inside the ancient city. It's super close to where they do the iron flower show, which, by the way, is an absolute must-see. I'm getting on in years, but watching that show brought tears to my eyes; I was so moved by the performers' dedication and the incredible spectacle they put on.
It's clear the hotel owner pays incredible attention to detail. My two girlfriends and I stayed in a triple room, and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were gushing over the hotel's ambiance, the staff, and the room's decor. Every little detail was thoughtfully done. Even when we were heading out to explore the ancient city, the front desk proactively offered us a pack of tissues to take with us.
The room itself was a standalone unit, so it was incredibly quiet. They delivered coffee and afternoon tea daily, and the fruit plate in the room was fresh. There was also a cooler in the lobby with bottled water available for guests. The whole room was smart-enabled with XiaoDu (a smart assistant), and the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area. Oh, one small thing: the trash can in the bathroom was a bit too small; I hope they can improve that.
The private hot spring was amazing. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to soak in the hot spring and chat was just pure bliss.

GGuest UserI found this guesthouse just 20 minutes before arriving in Pingyao. I contacted the owner and learned they offer pick-up and drop-off from the station. I thought 20 minutes wouldn't be enough time, but to my surprise, the owner immediately sent a housekeeper to pick us up in a Mercedes business van. They were incredibly efficient despite the short notice. The room was clean and tidy, and we even got a free upgrade to a larger one. The service quality was top-notch; they were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. On the way to the guesthouse, they asked us what we wanted to drink, and when we arrived, our preferred welcome drinks were already prepared. There were also complimentary fruits and a specially prepared beverage waiting for us. I initially booked just one night, just to try it out, but I was so pleasantly surprised that I extended my stay for another night. All the staff were warm and attentive. I genuinely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Pingyao.

GGuest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend! This is an incredibly stylish private hot spring siheyuan (quadrangle courtyard) guesthouse in Datong Ancient City – the Jinhuangqi Private Hot Spring Healing Guesthouse.
The location is right within the ancient city, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling area, making it very convenient for sightseeing. As soon as you step into the courtyard, you're greeted by a Chinese Zen garden, perfect for photos. The rooms are clean and elegant, with comfortable bedding. The highlight is the private hot spring, offering excellent privacy, and the water temperature is just right. After a soak, you feel completely relaxed and de-stressed.
The service is also very thoughtful; the housekeeper is warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The scrubbing and massage treatments were both excellent, with professional techniques. The overall atmosphere is quiet and healing. It's definitely worth staying here when visiting Datong. I'll be back again next time, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserThe room still smells a little bit newly renovated. It is located on the bar street and it is very noisy. The front desk said that it will be arranged upstairs to make it less noisy, but the music in the bar next to it has been so loud that it makes people feel heartbroken. It has both points. Anyway, when I was lying on the bed, I regretted choosing this hotel. It's not close to the snack street, so you have to walk for a long time to get there. In short, except for those who like to stay up late at night, it's better to avoid lightning. The room facilities are okay, there is an automatic water dispenser, and the bath water is large, but the shower room and toilet are right next to the bed, which doesn't feel good. The so-called minibar snacks are just a pack of snacks.

FFangfangdajiejieThe location is superb, quiet yet conveniently located, within walking distance of all attractions, yet not on a main road, giving a strong sense of security. It's surrounded by the Southeast Yi commercial district and close to the Drum Tower, which is beautifully lit up at night. The hotel's infrastructure is excellent, incredibly clean, and stylishly upscale, with super comfortable beds. The private hot spring is incredibly relaxing and offers excellent privacy. They even provide complimentary grapefruit and grapefruit tea, and the toiletries are from Le Labo, adding to the luxurious feel. The breakfast is plentiful, with plenty of protein, staple foods, and vegetables. The service is truly exceptional, making guests feel right at home. We didn't know that airport transfers were only available, but the staff offered to take us to the high-speed rail station if no other guests needed a transfer. It's been a long time since I've experienced such excellent service at a hotel. Having only been open for a little over a month, I hope they maintain this high standard of service and accommodation. It's definitely the best choice for visiting Datong. The only three minor drawbacks are: the pillows were a little soft (the staff mentioned on the way back that they had received feedback that buckwheat pillows and memory foam pillows were available and could be requested from the butler); and the lack of a smart toilet seat, which was a little cold at first in winter.

GGuest UserWhen I wanted to stay in the ancient city, my first consideration was parking. The hotel's own parking lot was my primary attraction.
Secondly, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to Xiurong Academy. However, it's incredibly quiet at night.
The front desk contacted me in advance and provided detailed directions. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the entrance by a barrier. The staff was already waiting in the parking lot, helping us with our luggage and checking us in.
Our room had a circular hot spring bath, and the staff provided disposable bath bags and explained all the room amenities.
When we checked out, the front desk even gave us corn grown by the owner.
It was a truly heartwarming stay. I'll definitely be back.

SShiVisiting the Wang Family Compound is quite convenient; the hotel is just a short walk from the west gate. There's a 5 RMB shuttle bus to the compound, and parking is available in the underground garage. Staff will help with your luggage. The rooms are on the lowest level, requiring a short climb up some stairs. Breakfast is located above check-in. The restaurant food is good. Since it was Mid-Autumn Festival when I checked in, they thoughtfully provided mooncakes. While the room facilities aren't new, the price is reasonable.

HHaliluyaThis homestay is located on the east side of the ancient city of Datong. It is a relatively new area with a much smaller building density than the old area in the west.
The building is very exquisite, many angles can be filmed, I especially like the porch. When we lived, we happened to encounter a small exhibition of Tangka. I can't think of Tangka and the tonality of the homestay itself.
The room is very good, there is a small hall to eat and put things, the bedding in the bedroom is moved, and it is easy to sleep two adults and two children.
Cleaning is very good. At check-in, the waiter will wipe the dirt on the wheel of the suitcase. You have to change slippers or wear socks directly into the room area. Smart toilets are also a plus.
The fly in the ointment is that there seems to be a nightclub next to it? There are bass piercings in at around 11 o'clock.
