Throughout the 9-day trip to Nagoya, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed. Pros👍 🇯🇵The hotel is located right next to the Takayama JR station which is very convenient for luggage drop-off. 🇯🇵The interior design and environment is very nice. 🇯🇵 Love the hot springs (also include one for foot!) and the night view on rooftop even though it was raining. 🇯🇵The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. They speak English well. 🇯🇵The room size is bigger than expected, with a small table and two chairs. The room provides a great street view too! Cons👎 🇯🇵um I can’t think of any so far lol (maybe I just stayed for one night)

Walking distance to train or bus station. Helpful staff, doesn't always speak English but uses a translation app. Great check-in, neat spacious comfortable rooms [402], with bottles of water offered. At certain times onsen opened. The old town is close by, and every morning there is a morning market along the river, nice. Several restaurants and attractions nearby.

This hotel provided great service and clean accommodations. I love that hotels in Japan provide pajamas and toothbrushes. This hotel had two public baths. It's nice that they have one bath where the water is not as hot. We had the dinner buffet. It included American and chinese offerings. You receive a ticket for one serving of the Hida beef. I thought the food was good. I like that the portions are small, so you can try a lot of things. We also had the breakfast buffet which included Takayama specialty items too. There is a large souvenir shop in the hotel, so you are able to pick up gifts. I thought the prices are comparable to other gift shops. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the train station. It is a 7 minute walk to the train station, so it's not so bad. They only have two shuttles that go to Takayama Jinya (government house) which is across the bridge from Sanmachi Suji. Otherwise it's at least a 20-25 minute walk. I wish they had more shuttles to that area. There is not much to look at on the way from the hotel to Sanmachi. As Takayama becomes more popular with tourists, most of the hotel staff and store owners are able to communicate in English. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the hotel and would stay there again.

I'm struggle to put my review in words cause I am amazed by the services offered by the hotel and the staffs. First of all, upon reaching Gero station from Nagoya station using Hida Line, we are thrilled by the surrounding atmosphere and we took our time snapping photos around not knowing that the hotel offers a free shuttle bus for all their customers. The driver waited patiently at the exit gate, holding the hotel sign board waiting for all customers to leave the Gero station. This is a real PLUS in our stays. After we checked in, the staff lead us to our rooms and explained to us on the facilities of the hotel and the staff helped to exchange the size of Yukata after studying our heights. Very observant and thoughtful. There are 3 different hot springs in the hotel and if you have time, you can visit all of them. You can always put on your Yukata and walk inside the hotel region, including the stunning Japanese garden. Just that, most of the services/shops in the hotel are closed on 9pm JST. Remember to plan properly. The room is very spacious with 2 comfortable beds, a small tatami region for you to enjoy your private Japanese tea time. We love the breakfast provided by the hotel as it offered variety of both Japanese and Western breakfast. There is a shuttle bus service (usually once per hour for instance 10am, 11am and 12 noon) to fetch the customers back to Gero station. The staff waved us good bye is another amazing experience provided by Japanese. It is just amazing feeling. Tips: 1. You can purchase the 5Days JR pass and enjoy unlimited ride on some JR trains if you plan to visit Nagoya region and a day trip to Tateyama Alpine Kurobe route. 2. There are not many tourists during our visiting time (24 April 2023) and we love the peaceful feeling of it. Just that, it also comes with not many restaurants are available during the day.

Onsen à l'intérieur, possibilité de le réserver pour 45mn. Grande découverte, tout confort, cet hôtel à plein de petits détails pour un excellent séjour et bien entendu son personnel et toujours aux petits soins avec nous, d'une énorme gentillesse .

This is a popular hotel in Takayama, welcoming many domestic and foreign visitors. There is ample parking space, but you have to pay ¥800 for parking overnight. The breakfast buffet can be added on for ¥1000 per person. The staff at front desk spoke good English. There was a welcome drink coupon which you could use it for beer or a soft drink at the bar, which is totally self-service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, comes with a shower and nice equipment. The onsen is located on the top floor, and for the private onsen it is on a first come first serve basis, you just need to lock it and enjoy the facility. It is family friendly, and visitors can help themselves to a popsicle after having a bath. Amenities such as combs, soap, shampoo, bath robes are provided, you can take it at the lobby.

We stayed at Hotel Associa Takayama Resort as part of our tour group. We had a spacious twin room on the 15th floor of the Alps Wing which was the largest room of our tour. The room was very comfortable as were the beds. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The resort is on the outskirts of Takayama but there is a shuttle bus into the centre of the city. There are limited restaurants in the hotel and 2 of them were booked out by the time we arrived. We managed to book into the Japanese restaurant and had a delicious meal there. The breakfast buffet didn't have cereal. There was a laundromat on the ground floor which consisted of a number of combined washing machine/dryers which dispensed their own detergent.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at an onsen hotel, and I must say, my experience was somewhat disappointing. While the hotel had many appealing features, several aspects fell short of expectations. Firstly, the hotel's policy requiring guests to walk barefoot or in socks was problematic due to the cleanliness of the floors. The surfaces did not seem well-maintained, which detracted from the overall experience. I was particularly let down by the private bath. The two only available tubs was filled with bleach, which was concerning and not suitable for relaxation. Additionally, there were no shower facilities provided for rinsing off before or after soaking in the onsen. This made the experience less enjoyable, as I couldn't clean myself immediately before or after enjoying the hot springs. Furthermore, the reservation system for the private baths was poorly organized. There was no clear queue, leading to confusion and frustration among guests who were waiting their turn. Overall, the taste of dinner and breakfast was average, but the environment and service was quite good. Although the hotel offered many attractions and amenities, the execution left much to be desired. Overall, my stay was a case of having high expectations that were not met. I hope the hotel can improve these aspects in the future to provide a better experience for its guests.

Extremely well located if you want to be right next to the train station and bus station - my room overlooked the tracks. Provision of washing machine and dryer is a superb bonus inroom as are the full cooking facilities. The hotel intelligently provides basics such as oil, salt, coffee, tea and even a couple of detergent sachets for the washing. Strangelt though, no knives or other cutting implements of any kind. A tip if you intent to cook. The Family Mart opposite is basic, but there is a huge supermarket under the tracks and just beyond MacDonalds where you can get international food as well as Japanese. Slightly dreary corridors and a reception crowded with people waiting for their room to become available. But on the plus side they let me into my room early as I was unwell at the time.

This hotel is centrally located, just next to the Mercure. You leave your shoes in a locker and walk along the common areas barefooted or wearing socks. It's quite a hassle putting on shoes in the reception area to leave the hotel. The drawback of this system is that some guests remove the shoe cabinet keys when they check out. There's a pair of sandals in the room which you wear when you go to the toilet. This is different from other hotels in Japan where you can wear the sandals around the hotel. Vicinissimo alla stazione, si raggiunge in pochi minuti l'edificio, si prende la scala mobile e si sale al primo piano dove è presente la reception. Le stanze doppie sono nella media delle stanze giapponesi, quindi piccole, ma tutto sommato tranquille. Nell'hotel è presente servizio di lavanderia fai-da-te ed è possibile (anche se non ci sono andato) usufruire dell'onsen; difficoltà di comunicazione con il personale della reception. La cosa più simpatica dell'hotel resta il sarubobo gigante (ossia la bambola-amuleto tipica della cittadina) che staziona all'ingresso della reception. Consigliato per chi è di passaggio per Takayama e per chi vuole una base di partenza per la visita al caratteristico paese di Shirakawa-go.

ブロック割を利用し平日利用。 色々特典付きのプランで宿泊。 車はスタッフの方が移動してくれます。 部屋までの案内もあり。 特典の色浴衣も傷んでおらず種類もありました。 お部屋も広く清潔。 夕飯は部屋食で満足。 朝食は残念。 大浴場は混雑もなく快適でした。 スタッフの方もいい感じ。 外国籍の方も日本語ばっちりでした。 リーズナブルで満足な滞在でした。 しかし休前日等、混雑した場合は厳しいかもです。

県民割を利用しての宿泊でした。 事前に電話で申告もしていたのでチェックイン手続き、県民割の申請共に非常にスムーズでした。 館内案内は外国籍のスタッフさんで、言葉の壁はあれど、必要事項は全て説明していただけてわかりやすかったです。 併せてチェックイン時にいただいたインフォメーションに各大浴場への行き方もわかりやすく記載されていて迷うことなく、3つの大浴場全て利用できました。 夕食をどれにするか非常に悩みましたが、小川屋さんは初めての利用だったため、スタンダードな会席にしましたが正解でした。個室宴会場でゆったり食事がとれ、量も味も満足です。 夕食の係の方も外国籍の方でしたが、案内の方同様丁寧でとてもよかったです。 朝食ブッフェも7:00過ぎに利用したためとくに混み合うこともなく、席も眺望が良くゆったりできました。 バルコニーに露天風呂付きのタイプでしたので、部屋での滞在も非常にリラックスできおすすめです。 全くもって不自由のない滞在になりました。 同行者もとても気に入っていて下呂に行く際はまた伺いたいと思います。

Un très ancien et historique ryokan, construit en pleine foret, vraiment magnifique. Tout était bien rien à redire, bus la gare, réception rapide et efficace, chambre avec vue magnifique sur le jardin, repas très bon servis en chambre et les bain son pas mal . ps. Ne pas venir ici si vous recherchez le luxe d'un hôtel 5 étoiles, vous serez déçus , mais si vous recherchez un endroit magnifique, ancien mais authentique, alors se sera que du bonheur.

The receptionist at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, with English speaking staff. The room is unexpectedly amazing even staying as solo, but you get a room with a maximum capacity of 3 person! The view from hotel room is superb especially with snowing! Highly recommended for all types of travellers!

Stayed there for two nights. In-room onsen was good, staff at reception excellent. Food was simply terrible. Rice was cold (personally it’s simply unacceptable in any Japanese restaurant except for sushi may be?), the chef seems to enjoy making fusion dishes (and except that they were unappetising). To name but a few, we had strawberry mousse for starter, tofu (which was bitter) and pickles with miso for mains, and who’d put diced apple in an apple sorbet?? (Felt as though I was biting into ice cubes). The waitress was also extremely impatient and rushed us through our meals (we finished our dinners within 35 minutes, breakfasts 20). I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. Sorry, but no.

名古屋で外せない用事があったので、せっかくなら泊りは下呂にしようと、他県で何度も利用したことのある大江戸温泉に九州から母娘でお邪魔しました。 二泊三日。温泉街から遠い高台にあることは分かっていましたが、「送迎します」とHPに記載されていたのでそのつもりで予約。 でもこれが最悪の始まりでした。 まず、夕方6時ごろ駅に到着予定だったのが、事前電話で「送迎は5時までですのでご自身で来ていただくことになります」と。 タクシーで行くしかないと駅に着くと、他の旅館は3名もそれぞれ旅館名の書いた札を持って出口で迎えてくださってる。ここでちょっと切なくなるも(笑)、気を取り直してタクシーでチェックイン。 到着後、明日の朝は8時前には駅に行きたいことを伝え、送迎できるか尋ねると「朝は9時半からの送迎になります」ですって。 まぁいいわ。早く出かけるのはこちらの事情だしね。朝は遅いのに夕方は早く送迎終わるのもそちらの事情だしね。 そして翌日。タクシーを呼んでもらってお出かけ。帰りは駅に夕方5時半到着。 そこをなんでか5時15分到着だと勘違いした私がそもそも悪かったことはよく分かってます！分かってるけど、ものすごい言われ方されましたよ。本当に。 15分到着だから、もしかしたら送迎してもらえるかも？なんて考えてホテルに電話してみたのです。 すると最初は「5時までなんですよ～」と言われ「やっぱりそうですよね～」なんて返してたら「あ、担当に代わりますので少々お待ちください」と言われ少々じゃなくすっごい待たされる。 代わった女性がもう最初からキツイ口調で感じはよくなかったけど「じゃあ過ぎるのが15分程度なら特別に送迎します」みたいに言われて、まぁ送ってくれるならいいか、という気持ちに。 が、そう！到着は15分じゃなく30分だったと気付くことになります。その時すでに5時15分。 バスの中で近くに人が座っていたのですぐにはホテルに電話できず、その人が降りたら電話しようと思っていたら、向こうからソッコー電話が来ました。 「あのぉ！15分に駅に到着ですよね！？」といきなりぶち切れたものの言い方。もちろんさっきの女性。 「すみません、、時間を勘違いしてしまって30分に駅に到着でした」と謝る私に「じゃあ、もう送迎できませんから！」「あと10分も15分もかかるんですよね！？」「今どこですか！？」 本当にこんな口調。こんな言葉遣い。バスの中で小声で話すしかない私に、ぐだぐだ嫌味やすっごい上からの物言い。 挙句の果てには「こちらも次の業務があるんですよ！！」って。 こんな言い方あります！？誰が誰に言ってるの？ じゃあこの電話は何。業務じゃないわけ。 てかこんな人間を雇ってもいいのかしら。接客業で。 でもこの時の私は申し訳ない気持ちが先にきてしまって、しかもバスの中で自由にしゃべれない状況だったから、馬鹿みたいですが何を言われてるのかすぐに理解できなかったのです。 そもそも他人にこんな言われ方されたことありませんし。 送迎ひとつで、ここまで怒りをあらわにできる人がいるのが怖い。 送迎にきてくれた方はやさしかったので、それが少し救いでしたが。 今思い出しても涙が出そうになるひどい出来事でした。 でも逆に、こんなことで怒り狂うあの女の人も可哀そうな性格だなーとは思いますが。 この電話係一人が、スタッフ皆さんの努力を無駄にしていると思いますし、もちろん二度と行くことはありません。 こういうスタッフを野放しにしているということは、雇ってる方も許容しているとうことですので。

下呂新館と比べてみた！ 前日に大江戸温泉下呂新館に泊まって翌日こちらのアルメリアに宿泊しました。 下呂新館は3回目くらいでアルメリアは10回以上泊まっていましたがコロナの影響もあり久しぶりに宿泊しました。 個人的には下呂新館よりもアルメリアの方が格が上だと思っていましたが今回泊まってあまりにもレベルが落ちていた事にビックリしました。 そもそもコロナの対策も上っ面だけで形だけやれば良いと思ってるのが丸わかり！ 消毒液も下呂新館には各階のエレベーターの前には必ず置いてあるし各所に置いてあるのですぐに使えるし、更には部屋でも使えるようにチェックイン時にアルコールスプレーを渡してくれる。 アルメリアは最初のエレベーターの前にあるだけで各階には無く、エレベーターでボタンを押したりした後に使いたくても消毒液はないので出来ません。 食事会場も下呂新館ではビニール手袋を使い捨てにしていますがちゃんと各テーブルに手袋を捨てるゴミ箱が設置されていますが、アルメリアは使った手袋はテーブルの上に置いておけとの事。 何の為の手袋？それに菌が着くかもしれないから使い捨てでしょ？ それをマスクを外して食事するテーブルの上に置いておけって、、、 道理が分かってないですね。 極めつけには感染対策でご飯はスタッフがついでくれますがその時にしゃもじを床に落としました、、、 するとご飯がくっつかないように濡らす為の水に1度「潜らせた」だけでそのまま使おうとしました。 今落としたやろ？って言うと潜らせただけで洗いましたと堂々と言う始末！ ちゃんと洗うように言うと水道に持って行き軽く流してまたそれを使ってつぎました！ 他のスタッフに聞いたところフィリンピン出身のスタッフとの事ですが日本出身であろうとフィリピン出身であろうとちゃんと教育出来てない人を立たせないで下さい！ そして前回泊まった時もそうでしたがお風呂には刺青を入れた人が入っていました。 お風呂の前には刺青やタトゥーのある人は入らないで下さいとの張り紙がありますがまったくスタッフも見回りもしないし、やっぱりホテルの質が悪いからそういうお客さんが寄ってくるんだと思います。 下呂新館はこまめに温度チェック等でスタッフが入って来るので目も行き届いているので安心です。 そして値段は下呂新館よりもアルメリアの方が高く食事の内容もスタッフの質もサービスもコロナ対策も劣ります。 値段が高いのに質の悪い所に泊まる必要はないですよね（笑） 結果私は二度とアルメリアには行きません！！ 今まで好きで良く行ってた所なのに残念ですが、今後はアルメリアに泊まるなら下呂新館に泊まります！ 下呂にはたくさんホテルがありますがわざわざアルメリアに泊まることはオススメしません。 ホテルのフロントには楽天トラベルやヤフートラベル、じゃらん、るるぶで2018年〜2021年等に表彰されたり、優秀ホテルに選ばれた等の賞状や楯が沢山置いてありましたが何を根拠に選ばれたのだろうと思う感じです。 その評価も眉唾物ですね（笑） 下呂新館にはまた月末に行きます！ 皆さんも下呂新館や他のホテルを使うと良いと思いますよ。 どうぞご参考にして下さい。

Ia terletak betul-betul di hadapan anda apabila anda turun di Stesen Gero, dan jaraknya kurang daripada 5 minit berjalan kaki. Saya telah menginap di banyak hotel di Jepun, tetapi ini adalah kali pertama saya menemui tempat di mana kakitangan sangat baik.🥰 Mereka menyediakan sarapan pagi yang sihat, dan semuanya dibuat dengan bahan organik. Saya sangat berpuas hati kerana nampaknya anda berusaha sedaya upaya untuk membuatnya! Kebanyakan kemudahan berasa lama kerana ia terletak di kawasan pergunungan, tetapi biliknya cukup bersih sehingga sukar untuk mencari walaupun satu kesan acuan atau habuk, jadi saya boleh tinggal di sana selama sehari dengan ketenangan fikiran👍 Saya menghabiskan masa sehari berubat di kolam air panas dan di alam semula jadi.☺️

Selain daripada penampilan kurang menyenangkan pakcik yang mengambil stesen kerana mempunyai anak tambahan apabila menyemak maklumat, kemudahan perkhidmatan yang lain sangat bagus. Kerana saya menginap selama dua malam berturut-turut, saya menambah 2,200 yen untuk makan malam pada hari kedua/orang untuk menaik taraf ke Shenyue hotel untuk menikmati hidangan set tahap A5, iaitu makanan Jepun gaya Barat, sangat lazat! Kumpulan kami bersetuju bahawa ia adalah nilai yang sangat baik.

Chose this hotel as a tourist deal with a return free shuttle bus from Nagoya (post Covid) Shuttle left on time from the Shinkansen side…only about 20-25 people. Very comfortable bus with shields between the seats..lots of room and many windows to be opened if you so chose. Arrived in Gifu on schedule. Not able to check in early but our luggage was kept for us and put into our room before we checked in. A large room and a big bathroom on the 6th floor (618) looking out over the river and with a great view of Gifu castle. A pleasant and easy walk along the river to the bridge going over to the park and ropeway up to Gifu castle (beautiful foliage right now and the park is free to walk around!) Good wifi in the room…and check out until 12. Could not ask for anything more. The hotel has a luxurious feel in the communal areas and the staff were all extremely pleasant and courteous. Would definitely stay again if the price were right.

Nearby train station. If you drive and need to park overnight, you will need to park nearby LOFT (around 5 mins walking distance).

I have always found the Daiwa Roynet chain hotels to be excellent and this one did not disappoint. Great location, excellent service and nice rooms at a good price. Well done!

an old hotel but suitable for those with budget and need a privacy and comfort space. breakfast is simple, just bread, egg and coffee or juice. near to train station. public car park opposite for small car. lift to lobby at 4th floor. easy to check in and check out.

全国旅行支援などでなかなか宿が取れなくて、やっと取れたホテルです　今風の必要最小限の設備ですが、無駄がなくて好感が持てます　特にこれといった問題はないのですが、上質なおもてなしを期待する向きには、おすすめしません　私は名鉄岐阜駅から行ったのですが、距離はまあまあ、飲み屋街を通るので偵察を兼ねてよかったです　JR岐阜駅からくると途中に何もなく周囲のオリエンテーションはつき難いかもしれません　宿泊した時期にやっていた岐阜旅クーポンで飲みに行きました　岐阜旅クーポンのアプリは飲食店が検索できるので便利でした　

無料の朝食は、軽く食べたい人には丁度良い感じ。鶏肉のちゃんちゃん焼は自分の口には合いませんでした。無料のコーヒーは特別に美味しくもなく、不味くもなく。部屋は清潔で必要最低限のものは揃っていて不便は感じませんでした。駅から近い上、風俗街からも離れているので、女性には安心な立地。洗濯機があるから選んだのですが、（有料）３つしかなくて、使用後放置している人（男性でした）がなかなか現れず、フロントを呼んでよけてもらうことになりました。そもそも使用するのに、1時間ほど待ちました。待っている間も、自分と同じゆおに、洗濯機の空き状況を確かめに来る人（全員女性）が3人。夜、ホテル外でのコインランドリーは使いたくないですよね。ランドリーの使用状況がわかるといいなあ、と思います。

快適なドーミーインです。 隣接の駐車場（有料２４時間１０００円）と外回廊で繋がっているので建物２階からドーミーインのエレベーターホールに入ることができます。フロントや大浴場・レストランは６階なのが少し変則的。 大浴場は単純アルカリ温泉なのでお湯がぬるぬるとし、温泉らしくて私は好きでした。 食事は小鉢主体でトングで大皿から取り分けるスタイルよりもやりやすくて良いと思いました。 満足度は高いです。 駐車チケットをフロントに提示すると宿泊代と駐車場代を含めた精算ができるので領収証が必要な方には便利でしょう。

もうちょっとオンボロを想像していましたが、そこそこ手直しされていて思ったより良かったです。 エアコンが集中管理なのが少し使いにくいのと便座が小さすぎることが不便に感じる程度です。 朝食も結構おいしい。 近隣は飲み食いするところがたくさんあります。向かいの大通りを渡ったその裏の一本の通りに集中していますが、食べ歩きしやすく、また若い人ばかりですが、とても多く飲み歩いて岐阜はとても活気があります。 裏手には駐車場も複数あり、比較的安価です。

As a ryokan with a history of more than 150 years, we imagined an old wooden building, but it was a seven-story reinforced concrete building. Our room was a mixed Japanese and Western room with a view facing the Nagara River. We had a wonderful stay with this view. Nagaragawa Onsen was a brown hot spring due to its iron content. The hot springs were beautiful and clean, and I was able to spend a relaxing time. There is also a large parking lot, which was perfect for a car trip. 　我々の部屋は和洋混合部屋の長良川に面した景色の良い部屋でした。私たちはこの景色と共に素晴らしい滞在を得る事が出来ました。長良川温泉は鉄分成分の為褐色の温泉でした。温泉は綺麗で清潔感がり、ゆったりした時間を過ごす事が出来ました。広い駐車場もあり、車旅行には最適でした。

梅雨明けを期待しての７月１４日であったが、遅れていて気を揉んだ。前日の鵜飼いは大雨の水で中止だった。この日は、水は引いて澄んでいて、予定通りの催行で、鵜飼いが楽しめた。以前と比べ、丁寧、かつエンターテインメント性が増して、見せる鵜飼いに大満足。舳先に座ったから、まさにかぶりつき状態で鵜飼いのシーンが見られた。待ち時間も、夕食を食べながら美酒に酔いつつ寛げたし、驚いたのはトイレ船。快適な水洗トイレが用意された船のトイレが横付けされていて、心配なく利用できた。まさに、CS舞インドに満ちた鵜飼い見物で、大変満足した次第。
