From the moment we arrived we were greeted at reception by a lady with bright red hair and her hand up saying “don’t bring that luggage to reception” and ordered to leave it at the door! No welcome smile or enquiry how our journey had been. Service was appalling from the start. When we arrived in the room I was horrified at the state of the decor. It was dated, needed painting and decorating and certainly needed new facilities. I thought I was back in the 80s. I was even more appalled when i saw the balcony. It was tiny. So tiny that the only way you could get 2 chairs out there and open the door was to stack the chairs. You couldn’t sit out there at all and enjoy the outside space. I immediately went back to reception to ask for a room with a bigger balcony, fully expecting to pay extra. The lady with the red hair said it was impossible as they are all the same size. Very unhelpful. Clearly someone who is not happy in her job. We spent the first night in the room and I didn’t sleep a wink. The bed had a huge dip in the middle so I spent the night in a roll. And by the side of the bed was a light that was impossible to turn off. I complained to the reception again. A lady called Sara helped me. At first she was lovely and offered me a new room, she gave me a new key to check the room first before we moved. I checked the bed was ok and it was. This kitchen area looked a little less dated so I felt it was a better option. We packed and unpacked and moved all our stuff down the immensely long corridor with no offer of help and unpacked in the new room only to discover the fridge was broken and the aircon didn’t work. The lamp was also covered in some kind of crusty dirt! I had to go back to reception again very very annoyed and upset. Sara and the other receptionists just rolled their eyes at me as if I am some kind of serial complainer!!!! I was the one feeling embarrassed in the end for pointing out their failings. The standard of accommodation is certainly NOT 4 star!! It’s 3 at the very best. The service at reception is a zero star from me! I was made to feel awkward and uncomfortable for something that really wasn’t my fault. I’ve worked hard to pay for my 4 star holiday and I wanted to switch off and relax knowing that my needs and comfort were being catered for. Instead the reception staff don’t care about their customers and almost resent them for being on holiday!!! PLEASE DONT EVEN BOTHER STAYING HERE. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Exceeded our expectations. The welcome ride in the golf buggy to your accommodation block was a great start. We had a one bed garden view room near to the bougainvillea restaurant. It was dated in its furniture except the kitchen where it was clear it had had a recent upgrade. But the place was spotless and very clean., so we were happy. It was very late when we arrived so we went to the restaurant for a quick meal. It was very nice and reasonably priced. In the morning we could see where our room was, over looking the kiddie pool. It wasn’t the best view but it was ok. There were 2 sun beds and a table and chairs on the balcony which was good. Overall we loved the resort and will probably return at some point. We had a meal at portobello just across the road which is recommended.

To say this place was awful is all I can do after my personal experience there recently, I certainly would never book to stay there again or recommend it. I booked a double room in their Guest House part of the complex. * The Reception is only open certain hours. You are supposed to be able to contact them outside those hours but I had to call them a couple of times and got no answer or help. It’s really impersonal and there’s no one around when you need them. * There is no facility to make hot drinks in your room. There was a bottle of water. You have to go to the breakfast room where a vending machine serves terrible quality drinks. You don’t want to have to walk around the hotel first thing in the morning to get hot drinks. *Room 521 was right by the door into reception and was noisy all night with people banging through into the corridor to get to their rooms. * The space immediately outside of the double windows in my room opened out on to the terrace for people sitting having breakfast. This was horrible and gave no privacy into the room at all. Thankfully it was raining but had it been sunny I would have had people sitting right up by my only window in the room. * They have waterproof mattress protectors on the bed which made it feel like you were sleeping wrapped in tin foil it was so hot and it crackled loudly every time you moved. * Pillows were either absolutely enormous and too big to put your head on or so flat and small they were useless. * No bathmat provided for the floor while showering, bit of a safety concern and I had to use a pool towel. No where to hang towels in the bathroom when you’ve used them…it was all just lacking in thought. * No waste bin in the bedroom * Horrid yellow lights in the room * It’s very dark and depressing inside. * Bright light over the door to highlight where the door was in the night but it lit the room up through the night making it hard to ignore and sleep. * Breakfast is only available from 8.30am which is very late. It was poor, stale bread and dirty jars with cereal in with a very poor selection of foods. Overall this was poor quality, grim and depressing and absolutely not worth the cost.

Stayed here in October half term. The hotel was kept clean and tidy. Nice big heated pool, and an inside one but we didn't use that. Plenty of choice of food although the dining room was spaced out so you need to have a good walk round to see what is on offer. Drinks are available in the dining room for you to help yourself too and I found the red wine on tap to be better than I've had in similar all inclusive hotels. Drinks glasses were available at dinner, more on that later. The entertainments team did an enthusiastic job which was hard for them as the hotel was fairly quiet. The break was just before Halloween so the hotel was decorated throughout and the entertainment team were never out of fancy dress and horror make up. We especially enjoyed their horror themed escape room activity. The hotel runs a free bus into Albufeira which was handy. We also took some walks down to the beach and had cocktails down there as the sun set. Only thing letting the hotel down was they only used paper or plastic cups for drinks at the bar. I think that's fair enough for the daytime pool bar but for the inside bar in the evening they should buy some glasses.

Such a lovely 10 day stay. The staff are friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean, linens changed every day. The view from our room was stunning (304). The breakfast was buffet and the choice astounding. We also ate a few times in the ground floor restaurant and of course used the ice cream parlour! We spent a few evenings in the bar, with Noonoo at the piano ( except for Sundays when we were entertained by ”Presumed Innocent”) fantastic place to watch the sun go down and served in luxury. We loved it. Thank you all. PS. To contradict an earlier reviewer. There IS a swimming pool, but we didn't use it as the beach is on the doorstep!

I would like to say that I have booked this hotel all inclusive with loveholidays app.Everything went well till in the moment when I have arrived.At the arrival I was asked to sign the check in document without being informed that I need to pay a deposit of £100 which was supposed to receive it back but not happed yet.I have asked why before signing the check in I was not informed about this fee.I was told that the third party love holiday stated in their policy which.Well this is mentioned in general but not in particular for this hotel.I was told I can’t check in without paying this fee,event though was 10.30 pm and I was with a child after me.The tone use by the receptionist Camilo was rude and I have asked to speak with a manager.Same attitude received from the manager Sia.Same tone used.Nobody made me fell so bad.I have started the holiday into turn worse way possible.After I have payed the all inclusive package which was not cheap I was treated so badly. Not saying that this is not a 4⭐️ hotel.No water in the room at arrival with all inclusive.Not even a sandwich on arrival with all inclusive.They have asked me to pay a deposit of £100 for any demages I could cause but the rooms literally needs a refurbishment.Broked iron was given for use.Cockroaches in the kitchen.Not worth the price I have payed. I was told I will receive my deposit back but not happened.I want my depoist back asap.
