This is the best hotel I stay in Shenyang. The room is clean and big with outdoor hot spring. At first I thought I only have 1 day resort ticket. Surprisingly, I was told everyday I stay at the hotel, I am free to go to the resort to relax and enjoy myself. The breakfast is very good and with wide spread. Only negative point is that it is far from my room. Will be back again.

Had a very enjoyable stay here over the weekend leading up to Christmas. Lovely room with a fantastic view over the Labour park. Very good breakfast - excellent coffee - and the Paulaner Brauhaus had a superb Christmas party. The Kempinski sets very high standards and did not disappoint.

Stayed 43rd floor club room, room quality was good and very comfortable.  We enjoyed club lounge for breakfast and cocktail time, both the club IC manager Betty welcomed us very well.  The club lounge staff are all friendly and served us with nice hospitality.  Enjoyed stay at the Intercontinental Dalian.  We are sure back IC Dalian again!!

Stayed here 09 nights in total, after multiple extensions. Room 207. 1. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of action. There was a street food next door, with McD, Pizza Hut and KFC all within 05 mins of walking. There was a mall with a Walmart hypermarket at the underground level nearby. It is convenient for those who stayed more than a few nights and needed to provision for work in Dalian. 2. There is a university nearby, plus a hill overlooking the Dalian city which you can conveniently walk/jog up to in the morning/evening. 3, The room is sufficiently well spaced, the bed and pillows are comfy, the lights are decently illuminant, the shower water pressure strong and the temperature hot when you need it ; the room is well decorated, there is enough work space on the table, there is a fridge ; the basin, the toilet bowl, and the shower room are independent of each other. In other words, a well thought out room layout. The lighting control is well calibrated, the central air conditioning is quiet, there is a special pop-out plug points on the table for laptops and phone charging. 4. The breakfast is good, a bit of every kind, mainly Chinese dish but some Western oriented salad style vege/fruits for those who need it. Milk is available (not something to be taken for granted in China as milk is not commonly available) 5. There is a free laundry room for use, the detergent and softener are provided free-of-charge ; iron and iron board is available as well. 6. The hotel service is tightly run by its Manager who ensure the staff are always tending as soon as possible to the customers. A special thanks to reception staff 孙晓辉 for patiently helping out with China-specific app for about 30 mins.

The Architecture is like European Style, amazing interior and exterior design, Luxury stay, one of the best hotel breakfasts in China for foreigners with huge variety. The list of things to enjoy are endless 👏but a bite too expensive, and for a hotel of this price there should be definitely a free mini bar and some free stuff in the room. Great sea and city view from the room.

I recently stayed at the Yuehe Seaview Art Hotel, located within the stunning Dalian Donggang Venice Water City, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From its impressive art-inspired decor to its prime location by the waterfront, this hotel stands out as one of Dalian’s finest. Location: The hotel’s location is a true highlight. Set along the picturesque waterfront of the Donggang area, it offers stunning views of the water and the surrounding cityscape. The Venice Water City theme adds a charming European flair to the surroundings, with canals and bridges, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. It’s also conveniently close to the city’s major attractions, shopping districts, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Dalian while still enjoying a quiet, tranquil setting. Room Quality: The rooms at Yuehe Seaview Art Hotel are nothing short of luxurious. Spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean, they offer a perfect blend of comfort and modernity. The artwork throughout the hotel creates a unique aesthetic, with each room featuring contemporary furnishings and soothing colors. My room had large windows with breathtaking views of the canal and the skyline – the perfect backdrop for a relaxing stay. Overall Experience: My stay at Yuehe Seaview Art Hotel was exceptional. This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

Our recent stay at the apartment was overall a positive experience. The location was excellent, situated conveniently near the university, which was our primary objective. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with shops downstairs offering various food options for our convenience. However, there were a few areas that could have been improved. Firstly, there was no daily cleaning service provided, which was a bit of a disappointment. Secondly, only one bath towel was provided, which was insufficient for our needs. On the first day of our stay, we were asked to wait due to a window being broken in the original booking, which although understandable, was still an inconvenience. The owner was polite and communicated effectively through phone, which was appreciated. The Ayi who was there to open the apartment for us was not as accommodating, however. She shouted at us for using one of the bath towels as a step-out mat from the shower, which we felt was an unnecessary reaction. Due to the fact that the tiles are slippery after showering,The shower itself was a bit inconvenient as it did not have doors, allowing water to easily flow out into the room but we managed to adjust the direction of the shower head and make it work. For future guests, we would recommend topping up the toilet rolls and toothpaste to ensure a more comfortable stay for three days . Overall, despite the few shortcomings, the apartment was comfortable and clean, and we would consider staying there again in the future.

This is the hotel where located just beside the Dandong railway station.It’s the hotel of Dandong railway station.In front of the hotel there is an iconic statue of China’s former leader.My first impression was one of awe - the elegance and sophistication were palpable from the very moment I walked in. The check-in staff were courteous and efficient, greeting me with warm smiles and promptly assisting me with my luggage. The hallways were immaculately clean, and the plush carpeting provided a pleasant sensation beneath my feet. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of the “North Korea “ in the distance just 850m away from the balcony. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and carefully-selected furnishings that complemented the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring elegant fixtures and plush towels. But not up to 5 star standards. Throughout my stay, the staff continued to impress with their impeccable service and attentiveness to my needs. Every question I had was met with a prompt and informative response, and the concierge was particularly helpful in recommending local attractions and dining options. Overall, the “Dantie hotel”is combination of stunning views, good accommodations, and exceptional service ensured that my stay was both comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a sophisticated and refined experience in a beautiful Dandong city in China-North Korea border.
