選擇五星級酒店就是需要環境配套 服務配套 這次住了奧克蘭的柏悦 終於體會到小島國的小肚雞腸服務 驚訝到這種服務叫五星級酒店的麼？ 首先入住很好 碰巧遇到我們華人前台 王先生 態度和服務絕對一流 讓你覺得回家了的氛圍 不怕麻煩 呆我參觀了房型 換房 但酒店也僱傭了其他亞裔 比如馬來西亞🇲🇾人 據説還是我們中國🇨🇳的領導在酒店 退房時提前一天個酒店人員溝通了 是否可以安排延遲退房 因為五星級都會有這個優享服務給客人 都很寬鬆 衹是你需要提前打好招呼告知 在房間充足的前提下 都不會有問題 而柏悦跟我溝通的一位女士 也承諾了給我2pm退房 第二天因為我有事在外面 但是也不想多佔用人家酒店房間 就告之攜程的酒店客服 跟酒店聯繫 可以直接把我行李拉下來 我回去直接chk out就可以了 然而等我回酒店告知我要多收我半天費用 因為我2pm沒有回來 是4pm回來的 且他們沒有權利拿客人行李 所有這些個説辭 來自於馬來西亞🇲🇾前台的所謂領導 直接刷了我的認知 全世界五星級酒店住了那麼多 第一次碰到五星級酒店行為是三星級處理方案的酒店 好 老孃也不幹了 反正最後是贏了 寫這麼多就是想要給大家提醒 出門在外 別被不友好的亞裔欺負 首先2pm到點要charge我 可以 你要電話告知我 在沒有告知我前提下 且我讓攜程聯繫他們 告知可以chk out 是他們各種bb不去搬行李 然後讓我出半天費用 noway 所以春在外遇事別慌 需要爭取的 別怕 別讓亞裔欺負我們～

This hotel was recommended by my friend who used to work here. I requested a high floor and it was granted so the room’s view of the harbor is 🤩 (12th floor Social King Room). It’s the first time that a radio was turned on as I entered the room. I even thought my next room neighbor’s music was that loud. I didn’t expect it that you can slide the door from the toilet so you can have a full view of the harbour. I liked the room very much. Thankful that I was allowed to check in early. Appreciate it a lot! I intentionally left my puffy jacket and left a note about it. Whoever owns it now, please take care of it. I’ll be back when I go back to Auckland. OK, it's a great hotel, excellent rooms, supplies, service, nothing wrong there. I only have two complaints, and it starts with their breakfast lounge Advieh. Excellent food, indeed beautiful, but it does not require loud music. People are there for breakfast, not for loud music, which is obviously only for the staff, not for customers. Make it more welcoming please. And the other problem is the access if you're driving. There is valet parking, but the area is very inconspicuous and it will be invariably occupied by taxis, often in two or three rows. The unadvised driver will not be able to stop, or drive in, unless you want to stop all traffic behind you as you wait for the taxis to move out. So do not try to turn left and drive around again, as traffic directions will take you all over the North Island before you make it back to the hotel. Just carry on on the same street for another block and you will drive around this massive car park, overnight cheaper than the hotel valet ($40, as opposed to $80 at the hotel) and you can comfortably walk to the hotel directly through a covered pedestrian walkway above the street. But if you do want to use the valet service at the hotel front, do stop by the taxis, honk like crazy and they will slowly move away to allow your car through - remember, that is your spot, not theirs. But I honestly advise anyone to use Uber to get to this hotel, and not drive in.

Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorite hotels during my 2-week stay in New Zealand. It is located in the heart of Auckland’s cbd area and close to everything (shops, restaurants, bars, harbor). It is a 6-minute walk to the Sky Tower where you can pick up the Airport Express bus for $17 nzd. The hotel entrance is on a significant incline. The reception is on the 2nd floor which you can take either an elevator or escalator up. The cafeteria and small lounge are to the right of the reception desk. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, toast, yogurt, cereal, fruits, muffins, and other pastries. Due to the high volume of clients the 2 coffee machines were usually low on milk to make certain coffee drinks. I love the room set up. The closet is across of the bathroom and had plenty of room for your luggage. The shower is enclosed in a glass cube with wave designs. A nightlight in the bathroom saved on electricity if you need a little light to move around the room. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked. The reception staff was kind to let me stay an extra hour past the check-out time for the room that I had with my tour. The room that I booked after the tour was ready early and I got to settle in at 11 am before my afternoon tour. Construction is happening around the hotel with the streets being torn up and a new building under construction next to the hotel. The hotel is well insulated that I couldn’t hear any of the construction.

This is definitely the best hotel with top service in Auckland. We were on a group tour and stayed in several hotels all over the country, Horizon stood out as the most accommodating, comfortable, and friendly. It's just a few minutes walk from Weta, the neighborhood is clean, modern and convenient, surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. I carelessly left my spare phone in a hotel in Wellington, and I am super grateful that the Concierge at Horizon went out of their way to help get it back... (it was a slightly complicated situation as I left New Zealand before the phone reached Horizon).

A memorable and tranquil brief stop in the city of sails. People are friendly, weather’s nice. What’s there not to like about Auckland?

Great location that is near to cbd. Have tried two restaurants near the hotel and that’s great. Easy for some nights when lazy. Room is good with kitchen, laundry and sitting room area. A nice chocolate welcome gift. Sweet. 10-15mins walk to pier that open a new world to different islands like Waiheke or Tira Tira. Love and enjoy the start.

Check in took a bit longer than a 5 stars hotel should be. I arrived at 1pm after an overnight flight and need a rest. Room wasn’t ready so okay I can wait. Until 3pm it was still not ready… only get into the room around 4pm at last. First impression ruined.

TLDR: no aircon, constant power cuts, paper thin walls.. Where do I start. First off there’s no aircon so the rooms are hot and uncomfortable. There are ducted low speed fans which don’t do much. But the biggest problem is the fact the rooms are on what I believe to be motion sensors or some kind of timers so ALL power turns off every 25 seconds, this is not an exaggeration. This includes the lights, jug, the fan - everything. I stubbed my toes in the dark because the lights turned off while I was walking around, and they wouldn’t turn back on. Showering in the dark due the lights constantly on and off. Good luck making a coffee, showering, watching TV or anything without that being interrupted by constant power cuts which drive you mad. I booked the small room. They look small in the photos but even smaller in person and I felt like I was suffocating, the rooms are tiny so heat up like crazy. The smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Also the walls are paper thin so I could hear my neighbours conversations word for word.. even with ear plugs. If there was air con and sound proof walls, I could have put up with the extremely small space. Terrible experience. Don’t even bother with this place. The Abstract had a lot of potential as they have decorated it very nicely but they have let themselves down. It is also in a dangerous area of Auckland central so you will want to make sure you are back in your room by dark, lots of drunk homeless people around. After my first night of zero sleep due to the heat, stuffiness and neighbours chatting, I complained and had my room kindly upgraded to a larger one, but the same issues remained of constant power cuts and no air con in that room too. At least it was a bit cooler due to being larger and an extra window, also had no neighbours.. The customer service was pretty good. There is no parking on site so you have to park in a carpark building across the road. The food in the restaurant was average but has a beautiful outdoor dining area which was the highlight.

Loved our stay. It was like hotels used to be. Lots of complimentary items. You could literally just walk in with your clothes. Awesome having a bar and restaurant on site. Parking was excellent. Airport shuttles come to the hotel and it has a heated pool. Highly recommend.
