Me and my brother stayed at the end of June for 2 nights half board. The hotel itself smelt really clean and very fresh. The rooms were clean but much smaller than expected. We asked for two single beds but we received a double room. The food was pretty tasteless and not a very big variety. I did end up going hungry. There is a nice pathway from the garden into Bad Aussee. It is a very steep climb back up though. Our first night staying here at Midnight a coach load of kids turned up having a party in the car park. They were not staying at the hotel but kept us up till 2am. This was a very disturbed night. The staff were not very friendly. It did seem to be an inconvenience to be working for them. The sauna we didn’t bother using as you would have to wait 30 minutes for it to warm up. You still have to pay in your total which was not aware to us until paying in person even if you don’t wish to use it. If you are staying on one of the top floors it can be very difficult taking all your luggage upstairs as there is no lift. The toilets in our bedrooms didn’t flush properly and there was constant trickling sound of water all night. If you would like to play table pool it is 2 Euros a game. There are 2 rooms to eat Breakfast/Dinner. All the guests were shut out of the 2nd room with the big windows with the nice views. We weren’t sure why. Minimal parking as they like to leave the car park for the coaches who come in and out. We probably wouldn’t choose this hotel if we were staying in the area again. Please don’t compare this review to JUFA hotel Grundlsee. I would travel 5 miles just to stay in the hotel if visiting Bad Aussee.

I have been to Austria several times and had nice experiences, but this resort really made this trip special. It has an incredible location with an amazing view over the huge lake. The hotel room was great aswell and it had a very cozy and typical Austrian vibe to it.

Pleasant stay in Heritage Hotel. Perfect location. The room is big and spacious. The bed is big and comfortable. Breakfast is really good as well. The staff at the reception is really nice and welcoming. Room assigned is on 4th floor, which we could hear footsteps from the room above us at 6 am in the morning. Request for a room on the top floor, 6th floor, if you're a light sleeper like us. The restaurant is really good. We went there for dinner twice during our 3 nights stay in Heritage Hotel. The soup was really good. We ordered the char grilled salmon with pumpkin risotto, really delicious 😋

I wish we could have stayed longer! I will absolutely be back. This darling mountain getaway is like nowhere I've ever been. From the moment I walked in I felt full of peaceful energy. Incredible detail has been put into the service and ambiance of luxury. The tranquil hideaway vibe is definitely on-point! We were on a cycling trip and arrived on bicycles. This hotel was the perfect treat to have a quick unwind during our adventure. We stayed in the mountain view rooms... WOW. I'll include pics of our panoramic mountain views! When I come back I'll stay longer to read books amongst the calm, find inspiration for writing, meditate, breathe in the luxury, hike the trails. So many attributes make this a luxury boutique hideaway. I need some self care and want to feel that peaceful energy again. The food was outstanding. They are vegan-friendly... We are not vegan and the staff prepared the most delicious beef goulash. Breakfast was above and beyond what we imagined... They cooked eggs for us made-to-order, brought us plates of fresh vegetables, sliced fruit, croissants, breads, gourmet butter, cappuccinos... I could go on and on. The owner is quite nice to answer my question. Also, the cleanliness of room js nice that have a balcony. I can see the star and seat at the balcony at the evening. It is my memorable experience. After wake up, I have a breakfast and sit nearly to the lake. It is so relax and enjoyable with tasty meal. In addition, nearby the hotel it has playground.

During the Immaculate Conception celebrations, my family and I used the structure as a base to visit Hallstatt. I have to say we had a great time and were comfortable the entire time. Staff: helpful and attentive to customer needs. Home: clean and tidy, warm and welcoming, with an additional private sauna available. Location: fantastic for the view of the lake and for the convenience of reaching Hallstatt by public transport and, if desired, Salzburg by train. Price: reasonable and well-proportioned in relation to location, public transport and quality of services. Especially cheaper than in the center of Hallstatt.
