My staying in this hotel was beautiful. Location is very good, service is excellent. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, very clean, breakfast is very good too. All foods was fresh and tasty. But only one question: why spa is available for additional charge in such level of hotel? But in general I'm satisfied and come back to this hotel with pleasure.

This hotel is really a bargain for how nice it is. I found the service to be impeccable, breakfast buffet was incredible and the location is right in front of a metro station. A bonus is the contemporary art collection which reminds you that you are in Madrid and not just any nameless, nice hotel. I love the schluter brass detailing in the bathroom and bedroom walls. These design touches add such gravitas to a stay, even when short. Bravo, I would stay here again.

Originally, the location is perfect which is next to ‘Madrid Puerta de Atocha’, however, the road is under construction and Metro station is closed… the room is perfect, good stylish!

Was memorable and outstanding property, we came from hospitality experience in dubai and indeed I can say that’s hyatt regency Madrid on the same level of dubai hotels, the room clean and homey, service team very helpful and exceeding guest expectations, especially to mention the front office team, they manage to organize for me flower and cake for my wife birthday apart of they were being able to book for me dinner in Lena restaurant, absolutely will be recommending your property to everyone in dubai, well done to the Managment for their encouragement and training for the team at the hotel.

Good location and great service. You can try the bar at 9 floor and have a nice roof top.

Wow! This property is absolutely everything you dream about when you think of Madrid. The inside is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect. The room, including the bathroom, is comfortable and charming. The food and drinks are delicious. What more could you ask for? Well, let me tell you. It’s fun. And why is that? The staff!! The staff is truly wonderful. Some of the best anywhere. I was an extremely weary traveler when I found my way there and walked in about 11:00p on a Tuesday night. The two at the front desk, Ramiro and Carlota, were so gracious and welcoming. Thanks so much for making me smile after a long and arduous day of travel and conducting business. I didn’t think I had enough energy to smile that evening, but you both brought out the best in me. Then, very early the next morning, I saw Ramiro again, who made sure I had a cup of coffee before the restaurant opened. Thanks, I needed that very much. And of course, Paola, one of the cheeriest people I have ever met. And she was so determined to make me fluent in Spanish. I arrived knowing one, and only one, word in Spanish. I left knowing three. You succeeded Paola!! So much fun to have met you. Curio Hotel manager, make sure to value this employee. She’s in a league of her own. One of the very, very best!! And of course Ana Lozano, my breakfast server. I said to her not to ask if I needed a refill on my coffee, but just to keep it hot and the cup full. And she did. Time and time again. So much fun to interact with that early in the morning and without a whole lot of sleep. All in all, this property is the best! Not kidding at all. Ramiro, Carlota, Paola, and Ana, the four of you make quite a team. So looking forward to returning. And when I do, I hope to see you all again. Soon!!! Job well done to all four of you. Reception was nice and allowed us to check in early because our room was early. The room was quite beautiful and spacious, overlooking the park. The facilities are clean and modern.

This hotel was great. The room was huge and overlooked the airport. The pool and spa were a great time to relax for a couple of hours. The meals my girlfriend and I had were also really good. Would definitely recommend.

excellent location good service breakfast a bit pricey though

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in February. We would never stay here again. In terms of facilities and comfort, we had a pleasant stay. Our bedroom was large, clean, and well-furnished, and the adjoining gym and spa is fantastic. We opted for a VIP stay, meaning we were on the VIP floor (the highest floor – 15), and this included a VIP lounge, and free gym and spa access. Unfortunately, our stay at this otherwise decent hotel was overshadowed by a theft from our room. One afternoon, whilst we were at the gym, I had a €50 note stolen from my wallet, which had been left in our hotel room. I only realised a few hours later when we were out for dinner. When we traced back our day, and our spending, it became clear the money could only have gone missing when my wallet had been left unattended in the room for 4 hours. The theft of the money is not hugely fundamental. (We were planning to leave a much bigger tip for the hotel staff than a mere €50.) The sad reality, however, was that our trust and safety had been compromised. We no longer felt safe to leave valuables in our room. We felt violated, and our trust in the hotel had been breached. This incident was made worse by the poor way it was dealt with by the Guest Relations Manager, Paul Cozma. Paul approached us during breakfast the next morning. He said he wanted to resolve the issue and repair our trust in the hotel. He asked us for ideas on how to fix the problem. We couldn’t think of anything at the time, but a few hours later we suggested the hotel arrange a free taxi for us back to the airport later in the week (€30). This would have been a nice gesture. Later that same day, Paul and the hotel rejected our suggestion. In the end, the hotel failed to do or offer anything. We had asked Paul whether anyone from the hotel had accessed our room between 12pm and 4pm on the day in question. (The room had already been cleaned at 11am.) Paul told us, yes – a member of staff had entered our room between those times. However, this member of staff was a “long established and trusted employee who had worked at the hotel for 30 years”. Consequently, nothing was done. No questions asked. No investigation. No apology. To his credit, Paul Cozma was always polite and respectful. However, for a ‘Guest Relations Manager’ Paul has no power or influence to maintain or repair guest relations. On the day we were leaving, Paul even admitted to us that he had failed to offer any solutions or take any action regarding the theft from our room. Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor, we noticed that other people have had similar experiences. Whilst staying at the hotel, other guests have had money stolen from their rooms. We cannot recommend staying at this hotel, therefore and we would encourage readers of this review to think twice. Ask yourself this: if multiple guests at this hotel have reported money being stolen from their rooms, most likely by the hotel’s own staff – with the hotel failing to
