Hotel dengan balcony di Milan

I’m not sure if all hotels in Italy are like this, but this hotel genuinely left us with an amazing impression. The service was exceptional, and the breakfast selection was excellent. We are two wedding photographers travelling to Italy for work. For the first two nights, we stayed at a hotel arranged by our clients outside of Milan, but once we returned to Milan, we specifically chose this hotel for our final night before flying back to the UK. Even though we only stayed for one night, the experience was fantastic. First of all, the location was very convenient. It was easy to get here from the airport by metro, which was especially helpful after a busy wedding trip carrying a lot of equipment. What impressed us the most was the service. We arrived quite early, before check-in time, so we left our luggage at reception and went out for the day. When we came back around 5pm, all of our luggage had already been delivered to our room. This is actually something we rarely experience in most hotels in the UK, so we really appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality. Btw, they even offer welcome drinks 🥰 The breakfast was also wonderful, with both hot food options and a great continental selection. Everything tasted lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again next time we visit Milan.

避雷 Usually, I leave positive reviews for hotels, but unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience staying at Be Mate CityLife in Milan. From the moment we entered the apartment, there was a strong unpleasant smell, similar to mould, coming from the bedrooms. The odor was noticeable throughout the stay and made the apartment very uncomfortable. Even the housekeeping team acknowledged the smell. However, on the day of check-out, the hotel denied all feedback regarding the issue. We reported the matter immediately to both the hotel and Trip.com. More seriously, I injured myself on the bathroom door handle within just a couple of hours of arriving, due to sharp handle and the narrow passage space. Instead of showing genuine concern or taking responsibility, the hotel’s response was extremely disappointing. They stated that the door was “designed in a way that it can swing back and forth” and suggested that the incident was due to not knowing “how to properly use it.” In fact, I had not even touched the door when the injury occurred. I found this response inappropriate and dismissive toward a guest who was injured on their property. On the other hand, Trip.com handled the situation professionally and showed genuine human care throughout the process, which I sincerely appreciated. Unfortunately, due to the hygiene issue, unpleasant smell, and the hotel’s attitude toward customer safety and feedback, I would not recommend staying here.

Location is good! Able to walk or take the tram to the Duomo. Offered a room in the ground floor and surprisingly it’s very quiet! Bed is a bit hard but it’s acceptable. Breakfast choices are limited tho. We drove there with rental car. There’s parking in the mall next to the hotel. Very convenient!

Lokasi sangat baik, dalam jarak berjalan kaki ke tarikan utama dan jalan membeli-belah. Bilik ini agak baru dan perkhidmatan meja depan juga sangat mesra.

The hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the train station, making it easy to get around and explore the city. Housekeeping provided room cleaning every day, and the room was always kept clean and tidy. This definitely made our stay even more comfortable.

The hotel was very clean, good location 8 min walk to metro and 15 min to Milano Centrale. The staff were very nice and they also offer luggage storage if you need to store luggage .

The room itself was clean and quite minimalistic. Housekeeping deserves credit: the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed regularly, and the bathroom was kept tidy. In terms of cleanliness, there were no complaints at all. However, the bathroom layout is a serious downside. The shower is extremely narrow, and because it only has a shower curtain instead of a rigid door, it is very uncomfortable to use. The curtain constantly sticks to your wet body, which makes showering frustrating rather than relaxing. On top of that, the water pressure is below average, so it takes longer to rinse off and doesn’t feel very refreshing. Another major issue was the temperature in the room. Even with the heating turned on, it was very cold, especially in the evenings and at night. This significantly affected comfort and made the stay less pleasant, particularly during colder weather. The room itself is quite small and basic, but acceptable for a short stay if you don’t plan to spend much time inside. The furnishings are simple, and everything feels a bit outdated, though functional. In summary, this hotel might be suitable for a short budget stay in Milan if cleanliness is your main priority. However, the very narrow shower with an inconvenient curtain, low water pressure, and poor heating make it hard to fully recommend. Also not every stuff speaks English well

Overall, I had a really good experience here. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help from the moment I arrived. The facilities were clean, well maintained, and everything was organised. The atmosphere was great, and you can tell they put effort into making sure customers have a good experience. The only downside for me was the location. It is a bit out of the way and not the most convenient to get to, especially if you're travelling from across the city. That said, once you're there, it's definitely worth the trip. Everything else was excellent. The service was efficient, the quality was exactly what I was hoping for, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would happily return and recommend it to others. If the location were a little more convenient, I would have no hesitation giving it a full five stars.

Just enjoyed the location. Other than that, nothing was okay. The room is fine but the Air Conditioner they placed in the other side where the room entrance is. So, the bedroom area never get cold at this hot and humid summer. The washroom is okay but the shower area is pathetic. Tiny, even going inside the shower area between 2 doors is quite uncomfortable. The Breakfast has no choice at all. Even the lady who works in the breakfast area didn’t looked friendly at all.

Great service, they deserve one more start at least. The receptionist guy was very friendly and kind and even helped me with my luggage. The bedroom was a good size, quite modern actually. They had coffee and some biscoff cookies for us. It’s in a central area, very close to the centrale station! Overall, a good stay! Wish I took better photos!
