Cari Hotel 4-Star di Milan

Nice hotel in the heart of Milan 500m from the Duomo, 347 restaurants and likely as many stores. The rooms and common areas are nicely designed with quality materials. The rooms are well designed with nice large bathrooms and especially rain showers. They have among the most comfortable bathrobes I've ever had at a hotel. That's why it's a mystery to me that the same hotel has the most pathetic pillows l've ever had short of a Super-8 motel. One is too thin and hard and the other is too soft and light. It's time to upgrade to one foam and one down pillow. The other great mystery is the hair dryer. I think the Dollar Store wall-mounted models actually provide more heat and power. The breakfast room is where the hits and misses continue. Nice full buffet with a wide array of fruits, breads, charcuterie, cheeses, viennoiseries and cereals. The super automatic espresso machine with fresh milk and beans visible through glass is one of the best l've ever seen. You'll notice I didn't mentions eggs, bacon and sausages in the buffet. They have all three but the quality lies somewhere between prison and hospital grade. The powdered eggs are terrible and if they aren't powdered but actually fresh, that's even worse. The bacon is a processed pancetta saltier than sardines. The halal sausages completed the trifecta. Getting back to the hits, the hotel is clean and the staff is dedicated. The rooftop bar is second to few in Milan. It may appear over priced at first with a 23€ minimum charge for all cocktails as a price of admission but that includes three high quality amuse-bouche croquettes. It was more than enough to later save on appetizers at local restaurants. The live DJ was spinning up a nice vibe and the people were as beautiful as the views. The restaurant was fully booked and fully priced so we didn't stay for dinner. The self-park down the street at 28€ per day was reasonable as were the mini-bar prices. The misses are easy to fix so we'll be back to check on their progress.

Andrea, the PR manager, is definitely the best I met in Milan, Bologna and  Parma. He is extremely helpful with excellent hospitality. Thanks to him for avoiding the traffic congestion due to a concert at Duomo and arrange for us a direct transportation to airport at a reasonable price.  Andrea is definitely a good reason for us to come back to Milano more often and stay in this hotel.

Very modern Clean In a triple room- daughters section was partitioned off but no table,plug or light which is needed for a teenager. Could ask for razors/toothbrush if needed which I thought was good even though we had it Could request a kettle Perfect for 1 night Close to metro station Supermarket near if needed Tons of food choices Minibar in fridge-fees applicable -under the safe

The Hotel was actually near the Centrale Station. The Receptionist, all of them are wonderful!! Bless them cause on December 7, 2025, around 1:50 PM, I arrived at Porta Garibaldi and took Metro Line 2 to Milan Centrale. While heading toward Exit Torriani, I paused at the stairs to secure my phone and metro card inside my bag. I clearly remember that my wallet was still inside, placed deep in a zipped bag worn in front of me. As I struggled with my luggage, two men were walking closely behind me. One of them—short white hair, around his 40s—suddenly grabbed and lifted my luggage without asking, speaking to me as we went up the stairs. I assumed he was just being helpful. There was no violence, no force, no confrontation. After reaching the top, he walked ahead past Glam Hotel, while I checked in at Smart Hotel Milan. It was at the reception, when I was about to pay the city tax, that I realized my wallet was gone. Only my wallet was missing; my phone and other belongings were untouched. I later learned this was a classic case of pickpocketing through distraction.

The location is good, it is near Naviglio Grande where is beautiful and many restaurants around. The staff are nice, they are very helpful to call taxi and even contact the hospital when my son was sick in one night. The cleaning staff is responsible and tidy the room good.

It was great value for money. The staff was pleasant and it was easily accessible as well.

Comfortable, modern, clean, helpful staff, EXTREMELY convenient location next to Milano Centrale train/metro/bus station. Several great bakeries and restaurants within two or three blocks, like Osteria Papà Nicola, Nico Quick Bite (next door), Caffè Pascucci, Ristorante da Gigi, Crazy Cat Cafe (meet their 9 cats), and Caffè Napoli (most amazingly soft and delicious filled croissants ever). 5 min walk to the shopping on Corso Buenos Aires. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel seems to be newly built, very modern not like those traditional hotels in Europe. It provides 2 bottles of water, 2 small shower gel and shampoos, and disposable slippers which seem not very common in europe given the environment consideration. Heating is good. There is a radiator in the toilet, making it warm and nice in the cold Feb. The shower holder is loosen, so the water splashed and a bit hard to control. Location is not bad, 15 minutes by walk from Milano Centrale, 10 minutes by walk from the subway Sondrio. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it convenient to transfer. The room is relatively good space for big suitcase. There is a safe in the room. The dining area is nice, though I didn’t take meals there. The receptionists are very friendly and welcoming, apart from one guy on a night shift who was rude and ruined my good impression of the hotel. Overall, a nice place to stay for me who came to Milan for the first time and was not very familiar with the local as someone from China.

This hotel offers great value for money in Milan. It’s conveniently located near the city center, just a short walk from the nearest metro (Comasina - yellow line) or bus stop. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend it. Also, there is a nice café not far Alba nar.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Hotel, Great Location – Don’t Let the Bed Bug Comment Scare You! At first, I was a bit unsure after seeing a review mentioning bed bugs — but honestly, I think that may have just been a one-off or a disgruntled guest. Everyone gets them! Personally, I had no issues at all. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. I didn’t make it to breakfast during my stay, but I did catch a glimpse one morning on my way out — and it looked absolutely delicious. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and cleaned daily, which I really appreciated. The only minor letdown was that the safe wasn’t working — we were told it would be fixed, but unfortunately it wasn’t during our stay. Other than that, everything else was spot on. Big shout-out to the cleaning staff — they did a fantastic job.
