The hotel staff and management were exceptional. Friendly and accommodating. I stayed at this hotel twice for a total of 17 nights and was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious with an en-suite with a bath as well as a shower over and the rooms are dated but being renovated. The pool on the rooftop is large enough to swim properly but the stairwell accessing it is old and poorly maintained and not suitable for those with mobility problems. The quality and quantity of food was variable. I saw guests complaining, on more than one occasion that there was no breakfast foods left. I also ordered a spaghetti bolognaise which had no bolognese on it at all! Saying that, I had a delicious pizza loaded with toppings. I think Iโd they can get the food service consistent, they will have nailed it. The net curtains in the room were black at the bottom and the curtains were heavily stained and the bath wasnโt cleaned ever during my stay, despite the room being cleaned. But, these are small issues which most places have. For value for money, I shopped around and my second stay was half the price of the first, simply by shopping around. It was very good value for money and a short walk from the beachfront, so Iโd definitely recommend this hotel and Iโd stay there again.

Dripz Coffee under the actual Eden Hotel provides great coffee plus meals, snacks etc. Friendly and helpful staff!! We have had many breakfasts at Eden Hotel - very nice and great value!! Perfect for the budget conscious yet this hotel offers everything you'd want in amenities and comfort. It has a beautifully clean swimming pool with excellent sun lounges and the rooms are far enough away from the street to be quiet and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the house-keeping is thorough and professional. The bed in my room was very comfortable and great size, the bathroom is clean and there was enough storage space for a comfortable few days. It is less than ten minutes from the airport which is perfect for transit travellers and only about ten minutes walk to German Beach. Very close to Lippo Mall and is at the heart of the restaurants area of Jalan Kartika Plaza. If you're not into 5 star resort type luxury, this hotel is ideal and I would happily stay here again.

our stay at Mega Boutique, room 502, was actually more than fine. the room we stayed in was clean and the staff was quite responsive. however, after we checked out on January 8 in the morning, we realized at night, that our 2 packages of frozen food were left in the fridge in room 502. I called the hotel immediately ... it was picked up by the employee who asked me to give time to check housekeeping . 5 minutes later we called back only to get an answer that they didn't find our frozen food in the fridge. we knew to have put it exactly in the fridge. however, miraculously, abracadabra... hocus pocus... the food disappeared without a trace. it's a shame, our stay experience was quite good, but leaving an unpleasant impression on the lost & found hotel service. hope the hotel management pays a close attention in their housekeeping team integrity.

2. The hotel itself is clean and nicely designed and decorated.
3. Spacious rooms, with all the amenities.
4. Breakfast is amazing. With a good variety and nice coffee.

Overall great experience. Definitely recommend. Especially, if you want to stay near the airport.
For discovering the island, or if you want to stay near the beach, is not suitable.

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. ๐๐๐๐

This is my second stay in 2023 and it did not disappoint. I usually come with my husband and family but had a week solo and chose this hotel. Not only have we had wonderful holidays here in the past, being on my own, I liked the idea of security at the gate. I stayed in a pool view deluxe and although these rooms are a little dated, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Having a welcome platter of fruit was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The lovely staff are another reason we return again and again to this hotel. Lintang is a wonderful asset to this hotel and makes me feel like family. Wirik in the restaurant realised I was travelling alone and went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and had a friendly smile and chat for me each morning. She does an excellent job and also makes me feel like family The pool is one of the best in Sanur. Perfect temperature and huge, so you never feel crowded and can move around freely. It would be good if there were more lounges though. Pool bar staff are lovely and efficient. The hotel is located a short distance from the beach and has numerous excellent restaurants out front. Itโs an easy walk to night markets as well Lastly, the security guards were wonderful. Very diligent at their jobs and so friendly and helpful to me. The Swissbel is my go to hotel in Sanur. Itโs such great value for money and its buffet breakfast is great. Try a themed dinner night as the food is sensational and great value being โall you can eatโ! Thanks again Swissbel, we will be back!

We have just completed a magical 10 days at Wyndham Jivva Beach. We are long term Wyndham members (owners) and have stayed at many of their hotels and resorts. Jivva Beach rates at the top of the list for us. It's just far North East of Denpasar to be out of the rat race but still within easy reach of Sanur and other tourist attractions. Apart from its idyllic setting, the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special mention to the head chef Gusti who has a wealth of experience at 5 star international hotels. His leadership ensured a high level of cuisine at every meal. And Wijaya, the food and beverage manager led a team of wait staff which would be hard to beat anywhere. There are no shops close by, but we booked half day tours using local drivers at very reasonable prices (IDR 600,000 for 5 hours), so we were able to visit many local attractions. We also took the ferry to the island of Penida across the Badung Strait ~ well worth the time to do this. We were surprised that the beach (which is very close), is made of black sand ~ not a problem for us, but maybe for some. In essence, we love Wyndham Jivva and intend to visit again in 2024.

PPengguna TetamuThe most thoughtful hotel I've ever been! It's my 6th time in Bali. Front desk was helpful to book the best third party providers for our Nusa Penida tour to our airport pickup. Hotel complimentary are fun - we did sunrise yoga, aqua yoga, even a photoshoot. We paid for the spa (the MOST deeply relaxing massage - we tried the hot stone massage and maya special massage) and it was leaps and bounds BETTER than the one down the beach at the nest which was already highly raved online. We also booked the Indonesian cooking class - amazing food and recipes and location on roof top. Room is amazing as well, with extremely helpful amenities like a clothing line in bathroom & a huge space next to the tub for fuss free bubble bath relaxation. Also, there's milk bath service for our in-room tub. Amazing. Already recommended to friends and family & we will 100% be back!

JJoshuaRSANew hotel with lots of friendly and eager to assist staff. Their kindness makes you feel welcomed and their readiness to serve you at every moment truly makes it feel like youโre on holiday. The rooms and facilities are clean, beautiful pool and water fountain. Great spa to get a massage at and breakfast was good. Shuttle service that runs to and from Ubud Centre (only selected times, so make sure you know the schedule).
Although I gave them a 5/5, the are still things I think that they can improve on.
1. Housekeeping is quite slow, I stayed at the pool one day and had lunch at the restaurant, after 3 hours I returned to my room and it still wasnโt touched by housekeeping. I also waited longer on the day of my check-in to get to my room. Although I arrived early and was patient and understanding to wait until my room was ready at 14:00 I still ended up waiting another 30mins to get to my room. This was a little annoying as they already knew I was waiting a long time and feel like they couldโve somehow speeded up the service. I understand they have their cleaning standards, especially for a new check-in. Maybe they need to employ more housekeepers to fulfil the hotelโs requirements.
2. On the day of my arrival the pool wasnโt open due to bad weather days prior to my check-in, which I totally understand and grateful they tend to the pool so well. I was however offered 20% discount on the Spa, outdoor activities etc. through a paper that was placed on my bed after I got into my room. However this coupon wasnโt explained to me and when I tried to use it two days later for a massage I was told it was only valid for the day the pool was out of service.
3. Breakfast - I understand itโs a smaller hotel and I appreciate any hotel that tries to contribute to the environment by limiting food waste by only serving certain about of dishes, however a better variety would have been appreciated, especially for guests that stays for a couple of nights. With that the buffet breakfast only came with a Balinese Coffee or Tea. This was not explained before booking the room and this information wasnโt given by Trip.com. It does however say the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea. But like many many other hotels Iโve stayed at and mentioned that the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea it usually means that there is a variety of coffee or teas available. And wanting a cappuccino or iced latte for breakfast would cost you extra.
4. The restaurant, drink usually came not as cold as one would expect it to be. I ordered an ice tea and it was more of a lukewarm tea. The beer they served was also not very cold and quite disappointing especially when itโs so hot and all you want is something ice cold.
5. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find, management can think of a better way to showcase the entrance/name of the hotel.
Overall I enjoyed the stay, it close enough to walk to Ubud Centre (about 15min walk) If youโre up to it. Itโs beautiful, clean and a little peace of paradise.
Some services however need more attention to details.

Upon my arrival on July 14th, I had booked a room with a King bed, but upon arrival, I discovered that my room had a twin bed configuration instead. After requesting a change and mentioning that I am a โDiamond Member,โ the room was switched to a King bed within 10 minutes. However, there were no welcome amenities set up in the room.
On July 15th, I called reception (dialling โ0โ) to inquire about breakfast and requested to invite my friend as part of my membership benefits. The receptionist took some time to check and later informed me that if my friend joined me, there would be an additional charge due to hotel policy regarding a third person. I was surprised that the receptionist was not aware that I was staying alone.
Throughout my stay, turndown amenities were never set up, which was disappointing as a โDiamondโ member. It seemed that the hotel overlooked this aspect of service.
On the day of my departure July 18th, which also happened to be my birthday, no one acknowledged this special occasion. During breakfast with my friend, I observed another guest receiving birthday wishes and a cake from the restaurant staff. When my friend informed the staff that it was also my birthday, it took another 10 minutes for a birthday cake to be brought to my table with a birthday song.
Overall, while the hotel's public areas were well-maintained and had a pleasant ambience, the service experience fell short of expectations. I believe there is room for improvement, particularly in ensuring that the service matches the level expected by loyal members like myself. Staff were generally kind and polite, but attention to detail and proactive guest recognition could be enhanced.
Thank you for your attention to these matters. I trust that my feedback will contribute to improving future guest experiences at your establishment.

This stay we were not told about the breakfast not being buffet style well at least being dramatically downsized and put out the front at Papas Beach Cafe. The selections were bland and mostly asian style nothing like it was in October and that was why we rebooked! The pool deck is a accident waiting to happen very very dangerous. My daughter room key was re programmed at least 20 time is 6 days very very frustrating with 3 little boys in tow to have to go from 1 end of the property to the other to report it. On the good side the staff are amazing so friendly welcoming and 10/10 to the chef at Papa's cafe for inviting the 3 boys into the kitchen to make and prepare and serve the best Pizza's I have ever eaten. The Alam KulKul is in a great position and the staff are worth staying for but quite a bit needs to be done to make it great

Rare in Bali! the rooms are extremely comfortable, with full amenities and extremely well maintained. Beautiful Balinese style with high end products, similar standards with any international Hotels. Amazing pool size middle of a beautiful landscape, just hard to believe you are at the heart of Kuta. Breakfast is one of the best around Kuta too. So much choice to accommodate large nationalities, from Balinese, Indian, asia, continental, international etcโฆ The staff is just amazing, extremely friendly and efficient. Nothing is perfect in life and things can happened! just address it to the front office and in the next 5 minutes someone will fix your issues, including technical issues you could have in your room. Ayu at the front office is a gem! what an asset to the Ramayana. She is so efficient and professional. Same with Endra at the Gabbah restaurant - what an amazing waiter! kindness and so professional with perfect English skillsโฆ. just another amazing asset to the Ramayana. The Resort manager is new and what a difference since he joined the Ramayana - he is everywhere, extremely friendly and really manage the property extremely well. My only negative comment will be the pool water temperature - too cold , the water should be heated same as any 5 starts hotel . Many guests were saying the same thingsโฆ. pool water temperature should be warmer. Nevertheless it is my favorite hotel in Kuta 15 minutes away from the Airport in front of Kuta Beachโฆ.

KKelly ShaunLoved the interior of the room, very Balinese style room with a bath tub, the room size is good and very affordable.. hotel location other wise is really out of no where, not close to any restaurants or convenient store. Luckily we can order grab.. but still not much activity available in the hotel except for massage and spa, pool bar is not open, no one actually goes to the pool. It's near to nature so quite a bit of insects.. Staff and friendly and helpful.. There is only 1 restaurant and price wise is not cheap and food is not nice as well.. we were given bread and butter before our meal but even our butter is tasteless,unsalted.. the curry is very watery.. I guess after trying so many nice food around Asia, our taste buds can be quite picky so for the price paid, the food does not satisfy our desire for good food.

Ppaulap007Ohana is a great place to stay if youโre coming to Canggu- itโs just a stoneโs throw away from all of the shops and restaurants, but in Pererenan you feel like a world away, surrounded by rice fields and calm. The building is super new, and built with a lot of attention to detail- the bed is like sleeping on feathers, and the showerโs one of the best Iโve seen in Bali. Everything is white with cute plant murals, and the pool area is stunning. The owners are incredibly friendly and have lots of helpful tips of where to eat and what to do. Looking forward to coming back!
