As a female solo traveller my experience was brilliant. I stayed for 5 nights. When I arrived at night I was warmly welcomed and ushered to my villa. There were a jar of home made cookies and a welcome note by the staff which I thought added a special touch to my stay. In a nut shell, the staff, (I forget the name of their manager) were very professional and respectful. I couldn’t find one single flaw and I truly think I received a better treatment than what I paid for so thank you team. Cleanliness: The villa was squeaky clean, and was equipped with a very comfy bed, excellent lighting, fluffy pillows and duvet. Air conditioning was on point. There was turn down service which added value to the stay. Safety: I felt very safe. It was equipped with an internal safety lock and wooden bar. The pressure of water in the shower, bath and outside shower was perfect. Location: The location of the villa was a bit of a walk from the reception but there was a buggy service if one wanted. I preferred to walk and stroll in the resort. The resort was a Grab ride away from the town and near places but Keramas beach was on site. Pool: the pool was the highlight of the villa. It was spacious, clean and had privacy. Restaurant: there is Timur restaurant on site which has delicious food on offer. Most of the nights I stayed in and had my meal there. The breakfast was equally good with generous helpings. Cons: just be prepared that they’re maybe a gecko or two outside but that’s because you’re out in the nature and in a warm climate.

Great location in Canggu. The villa is tucked away from the main street so it’s quiet and cosy. You can expect to see lizards and bugs outside the bedroom (i.e. bathroom, pool, and kitchen area) and keep a mosquito repellent handy as there are mosquitoes! On the plus side, the amenities are great - we loved that there’s Google Alexa and Netflix in our room, perfect to start and end the day with. Service is also very lovely and the staff are friendly.

Kanishka provided us with the ideal holiday in Bali! It is centrally located in Seminyak. Just walk out the door and there are all the shops, restaurants and facilities. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room came with a private pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Kanishka!

Very nice mid range hotel in good central location in Seminyak. Close to many things, circle K across the road, W and Potatoe Head nearby. We visited Woo bar at W and that was amazing. Walked thru Potatoe Head and way too busy, didn’t stop. Had dinner twice at Biku, it’s always wonderful. Good but expensive homewares store next door to Biku. Massage places across the road, didn’t use the in-house one. Everything lovely and clean and well maintained. Didn’t like the pillows, but that’s just me!!! Big bathtub in bathroom. We had a ground floor room, I forgot to ask for a high level one. A couple of times people sitting on tables right by our room, luckily they were not too noisy or there too late, but something to consider. Three different pools to use, water quite cool!!! Staff amazing, so helpful and friendly. Able to rent scooters on-site. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety. Only negative is no direct access to beach. We did find this hard! Besides this, highly recommend this hotel!

Very strategic hotel location. I had been here before once for a quick bite at Kahuna and this time decided to stay a night with the family. We were greeted with smiles everywhere we went; the security at the front, the reception, resto and kitchen staff at breakfast, even housekeeping staff that passed us by in the hallway. The hotel itself is quite small, but the room was spacious. Everything in the room was great. Seamless Wi-Fi connection (attended an online meeting immediately after check-in with no issues), huge TV, comfy bed, plenty of power outlets (including USB ones) to charge our many devices, perfect water temperature and pressure in the shower, really cold air conditioning. We didn’t want to leave the room 😆 Great view from the Kahuna rooftop restaurant of Batu Belig Beach and the sunset. The infinity pool was also nice. It seemed like a perfect place to soak in some sun. It’s such a pity that it was windy and a bit gloomy when we were there, otherwise my son would be reluctant to get out of the pool. Breakfast was served in Kahuna as well; it was really great and had many choices, with a buffet and ala carte options. Everyone at Kahuna was very attentive and helpful. Parking is free, but the basement parking area is small, so if you’re planning on bringing a car, you might want to inform the hotel in advance, which we did, and were able to secure a spot. Overall, nice hotel and awesome people. Would definitely come back!

From the moment we arrived, the staff exhibited a level of care and attentiveness that truly set this establishment apart. During our stay, my husband and I unfortunately had a mishap while exploring the area on a motorbike. The staff immediately sprang into action, ensuring my husband received the necessary medical attention and going above and beyond to assist us in retrieving and repairing the motorbike. Their dedication to our well-being was remarkable and deeply appreciated. Beyond their exceptional service in times of need, the hotel itself is a haven of tranquility with breathtaking views. Visiting during a quieter season allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings and indulge in every moment of relaxation the hotel had to offer. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the delightful array of complimentary snacks provided daily, and the breakfast offerings surpassed even the most renowned brunch spots in town. Additionally, both restaurants on-site boasted an impressive culinary experience that left us craving more. In conclusion, Potato Head Hotel exceeded all expectations with its unparalleled service, stunning views, and delectable dining options. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable stay.

Location is very good as its at the beach. And easy to access from the airport. The amenities are super! The gym has good equipment and there is complimentary access to sauna and plunge pool. The buffet breakfast is great but have to go early to get a table at the restaurant with the beach view. The rooms are great as well, very clean. A bit pricey but overall was an enjoyable stay! The room bath and shower does not have a door

Amazing experience, place is unique and magnificent, stuff are very kind especially Priska. Food is food and prove reasonable. One more doubt , if you are a person who don’t like the noise and nature sound , it’s a place in the middle of the jungle so you need to think twice . The privet pool is good but I think the resort need to cover it more because some places are clear and the neighbors can easily sneak. Overall, great experience

Arrived for 6 nights. Upon check-in, was asked to pay a security deposit of between $50 to $100 AUD. Then asked to sign a waiver form (none of which applied to my situation). Then the big surprise. ALL CLASSIC ROOMS HAVE NO WINDOW THAT YOU CAN SEE OUT OF! NO VIEW, NO BALCONY. On the first breakfast morning, I was asked 3 times to pay for my breakfast, but then the waitress immediately followed this request with ”wait moment”. I was so confused and frankly found her manner extremely rude. There is also something very dodgy about the food and beverage system here. At the pool bar, I ordered a meal but never received bill. I assumed it had been billed to my room, only to find out the day after, that the bar staff paid for it. I then reimbursed the staff member, and asked for the receipt which he hesitated to hand over. Asked to be upgraded to a room with a window but told ”sorry”. Reception staff NOT SORRY at all, and couldn't give less of a f*** if they tried. This is a well located hotel, 3 wings surrounding a pool that no one uses as its always on the shade. Expect plenty of door slamming, noisy, disrespectful guests who don't know how to behave in public. There are definitely better hotels to stay in for $62 a night.

During my recent stay at the Pullman Legian in Bali, I was left disappointed by the overall experience. Despite the hotel's appealing facade and convenient location in Kuta, the room itself fell short of expectations. First and foremost, the room I stayed in, which was supposedly a pool-front location, had a persistent dampness that was immediately noticeable upon entering. This unpleasant atmosphere made it difficult to fully enjoy the space and left me feeling uncomfortable throughout my stay. Moreover, the cleanliness of the room was far from satisfactory, and it did not live up to the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. In fact, the cleanliness level was more comparable to that of a two-star hotel in the Kuta area. The state of the bathroom floor was particularly disappointing, with visible damage and an overall dirty appearance. The wooden parquet flooring was scratched in multiple places, which gave the room an unappealing and poorly-maintained aesthetic. To make matters worse, even the simplest details seemed to have been overlooked. For instance, the chair in the room displayed signs of rust, which further added to the feeling of neglect. The water hose attached to the bathtub appeared to have never been cleaned, as it had a noticeable buildup of mildew and left a silky feeling on your hands when touched. Considering the brand reputation of Pullman, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience at the Pullman Legian fell short in these aspects, making it difficult for me to recommend this hotel to others. On a positive note, the location of the hotel was undoubtedly convenient, situated in the heart of Kuta Bali. However, the disappointments encountered within the room overshadowed this advantage. In conclusion, despite the attractive facade and prime location of Pullman Legian in Bali, the lackluster room conditions and subpar cleanliness detracted significantly from the overall experience. If you value cleanliness and attention to detail in your accommodation, I would recommend exploring other options in the area before considering a stay at this hotel.
