"The stuff were very helpful and nice. At the night it was silent. The location is perfect. We could leave the luggage in the afternoon and it was no problem. The breakfast was Chinese and good. In the room was everything clean. It is in the center of antient city few meter from ticket office. We were travelling with 5 children. The children were also content."

Excellent stay in Pingyao. The welcome was exceptionally warm and efficient. We had one room facing the courtyard and another on the second floor. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable, very clean, and equipped with excellent beds. The bathroom was well designed with separate toilet facilities and quality amenities. The hotel provides a WeChat group for guests, which proved extremely useful. The staff were very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We particularly appreciated the complimentary transfer service between the city gate and the hotel. The Chinese breakfast was excellent and preferable to the continental option. Orders can be placed in advance via WeChat, including drinks, which makes the experience very convenient. The hotel is well located near the North Gate and within easy walking distance of the main street of the ancient city. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended when visiting Pingyao.

酒店地理位置非常優越，周圍餐飲店很多，關鍵離古城下西門非常近，遊玩古城非常方便，步行即可到達！離《又見平遙》劇場和去喬家大院接駁車點也都很近。酒店前台幫忙購買《又見平遙》票還比網上便宜很多。酒店全屋智能，衞生很乾凈整潔！所有工作人員都實實在在，熱情周到，體貼入微。酒店前台主動提供高鐵站接送服務，老闆親自送我們到高鐵站，得知我們沒有來得及吃早飯還專門送我們到當地衞生乾淨口碑好的早餐店買早餐，讓孩子吃上了熱乎乎的早飯，讓我們特別感動温暖，下次來古城一定還選擇這裏入住。酒店性價比超高，值得推薦！

Very clean and spacious room. The hosts were very helpful and super friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot and felt very comfortable at the hotel. We were even provided with some fruits at our arrival and some snacks for our journey on the day we left. It was also possible to wash our clothes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Pingyao at Delian Homestay.

Hotel is inside the ancient city,  A historical building complex, with elaborate decoration and old style furniture in the rooms and lobby.   Most rooms are on the smaller side.    Local businesses that dress up ladies in traditional costumes and makeup seem to prefer to use the courtyard to do photo shoots.    The rail station pickup and drop off was valuable as the station is 15-20 minutes drive from the old city, overall service was good,  breakfast was better than average - the buffet had enough variety, surprisingly some premixed coffee and no hot tea - Chinese don't drink tea anymore?

Lovely hotel with a beautiful internal garden in the centre. In the heart of the old city of Pingyao and very close to one of the main roads where all the shops and restaurants are. The staff didn’t speak English (as it’s often the case in China, so no surprise) but they called a friend/colleague who did and she translated for us on the phone. Overall they were very friendly. I would recommend to make sure you have a translator app working on your phone before getting there.

El establecimiento tiene su encanto por ser un edificio antiguo y bastante bien situado dentro de la ciudad histórica, a cambio tiene el inconveniente que ni taxis ni DiDi pueden entrar por lo que os dejan en la puerta de la muralla más cercana unos 700m. El alojamiento tiene una falta de limpieza importante y el desayuno directamente sería mejor que no lo ofrecieran, es en un local diferente a unos 100m y no solamente con pocas opciones sino que además son lamentables, después de más de dos semanas en China ha sido la primera vez que no hemos conseguido comernos algo.

Staying in Yundingxuan has been an awesome experience. Upon steppimg into the courtyard built according to ancient Chinese architectural style, one feels immediately transported into a world of rich culture. The room is big and. neat with a huge double bed and a kang style bed opposite it. Hanging from the ceiling are beautiful Chinese lanterns that when switched on lwnds the room a warm and elegant atmosphere. Staying in Yundingxuan is definitely worth the experience.

Excellent location with a nice intro buffet dinner for local cuisine and breakfast included. Next to an important Taoist shrine and provision shops. Also within 5-10 min walk from the “New East Gate” which is important if you want to take a taxi for sights outside the walled city. Note outside vehicles are not allowed to get into the walled city. Extremely helpful staff and the high speed rail station to hotel transfer service is much appreciated especially since outside taxi cannot get into the hotel location. We speak mandarin and found the ancient city tour guides well worth the money. Look for the guides with the standardised purple windbreakers in winter. Standardised price but worth every cent. Glad my family took the detour to Ping Yao
