Excellent services with helpful staffs. Accommodation quality is superb. Beyond expectation with Le Labo amenity.

Amazing experience from booking till check out. The hotel formed a concierge chat before we checked in to help with pickup arrangements. We were blessed and very thankful when they upgraded us to a suite when we booked 2 rooms originally. The team was extremely attentive to our needs and served us food even though we arrived at 3pm. Breakfast was exquisite and they arranged for food for us to bring on the train. The team is led by a very capable manger and we truly appreciate the warm service provided. Will certainly stay with them again.

My children (18/16 yo) stayed at Pingyuan Mansion for two nights. Our taxi from the Pingyao railway dropped us at the South Gate of the city wall. He called the hotel, who sent a trolley to pick up as they were not allowed inside the city wall. It has two lovely courtyards. Our room had automations everything. Breakfast was amazing for those who like of varieties of small dishes. The staff made arrangements to drop us off the railway. It is only a few alleys away from the excitements of street vendors, music, sit down restaurants and shops. You won’t be disappointed staying with them. Truly an authentic Pingyao stay.

這次入住體驗特別驚喜，酒店位置絕佳，距古城入口步行兩百米不到。在酒店的頂樓露台就可以看到古城城牆與古閣樓，視野開闊，晴天坐在露台吹風賞古建築，氛圍感十足，拍照特別出片。 店內裝修簡約雅緻，走廊整潔乾淨，客房設施貼心。玻璃隔斷的乾濕分離衞浴質感很好，房間配有青瓷茶具。 關鍵隔音非常好，聽不到任何嘈雜音，衞生把控到位，各處都乾淨整潔，配套設施齊全。前台熱情温和，有需求響應及時。 既能感受古城古韻，又能享受舒適現代住宿，性價比很高，來這邊遊玩強烈推薦，下次還會選擇入住！ （全文192字）

The hotel is beautiful, specially the patios. The location is just 10 minutas walking from the North Gate of the wall. In reception they do not speak English, but they were very helpful with the translator. However, if you really need to rest, this hotel is not made for you. At 7am there were already families and kids shouting and playing in the patio. Even with taps, it was too noisy to keep sleeping. The hotel is also offering folkloric dressing and photos shoots, so you might find people take pictures in front of your room anytime, also at night with flashes

一口氣定了五間，商務出差，房間乾淨舒適，説實話衞生間挺大的。不錯。被子也挺乾淨。至於電視，嘿嘿，我沒看，不做評價。用鎮國寺鎮樓

This hotel was really great and perfect for us. We loved its location, the breakfast and the comfortable and spacious room. It's walking distance from everything to see in Pingyao and they have free transfer to the airport which was a plus as we arrived in the city at night. We want to especially thank Wendy and Linn at the hotel as they were really nice to us and exceeded our expectations. We will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Pingyao.

Pro + It is a new and beautiful place to stay. + Very kind, friendly and polite staff. + Spacious bathroom. + When leaving early the taxi driver can pick you up in front of the hotel. Cons — The hotel is too expensive. — Not a smoke free hotel. There was even smoke inside the lobby and the second night it was all over our room too (airconditioning?). — The first night we tried the dinner, but it was not good. They have photos of the food, but it doesn’t match with what you get. We ordered salmon sushi and got FROZEN sushi instead which was obviously not eatable. — When we asked for a tea on the terrace we were charged 48 Yuan per person which is way too expensive. — The bedroom is a bit too small and has the same size as the bathroom.

Fantastic stay. Staff provided impeccable service and advice. The tour suggestions were on point and proactive (e.g. informing us that light showers were forecasted and they had readied umbrellas if we needed them). Most of the staff was fluent in English. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Smart use of the different courtyards meant that rooms are very private and that, overall, it was very calm and serene. The property is located centrally near one of the major intersections within the old centre and most points of interests can be reached on foot in 20-30 min. If you are travelling with heavier luggage, then the hotel provides transport against an additional charge. The cost (150 RMB per way from/to the high speed train station) is well worth the money as you get dropped off just outside the pedestrian area (but within the city walls) a few hundred meters from the hotel and staff arranges for the luggage to be brought to the hotel. Taxis can’t drive that far into the old city.
