PPengguna TetamuIt was a pleasant stay in the homestay. The owner offer free transfer from high speed rail station and explain the homestay facilities in details upon arrival. The homestay location is near to the main streets and attractions. They also provide free veneger to guest. Thel room is clean with comfy bed. The toilet facilities is superb with a nice bath tub. Will definitely recommend this himestay to my friends.

CCecile1986The hotel is really nice and in the authentic style of Pingyao. It is quite closed from the east gate and from the ancient city center.
The owner is really friendly, speaks good English and is doing everything to make you enjoy your stay. He did explained very well all the activity and provide help if needed.
The room is clean and we didn't care about the size as we were out all day. If I have to suggest one thing, it will be to have bigger mattresses as they are quite hard but it's a personal preference.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI give the max score but I could easily give 100/10! Our stay at the hotel was just PERFECT. The room was very nice, clean and spacious, just as pictured. The hotel is very charming and wel located. But,
above all, the hosts were the nicest people we've met during our vacation in China. Always willing to help and always smiling. When I had a problem with my alipay, the owner helped me all the way, called the helpdesk and stayed with us all along. I don't know what I would have done without him. His wife made us discover very delicious Pingyao snacks and spontaneously offered to help in many ways. And always with a big smile. A very very special thanks to both of them. They transformed our visit to Pingyao from a pleasant stopover among others, to an UNFORGETABLE one! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We couldn't thank them enough.

Although the staff does not speak English they are very friendly.
The room is perfect, with an ancient feeling but all the modern facilities. It is clean and very quiet at night.
Rooms surround a lovely courtyard.

PPengguna Tetamu客棧位置非常好，鬧中取靜，步行2-3分鐘就能到達古城內最繁華核心地帶，市樓，南大街，平遙最好的餐廳都在這條街上。客棧裝修非常有特色，雕樑畫柱，古樸大氣，一進去給人一種眼前一亮的感覺，客棧上下有三層，自己特意請了攝像師在客棧拍了好多照片，沒去過平遙古城的朋友看了照片都收藏了他家，準備去時住那裡。房間乾淨衞生，舒適，有各種房型，滿足不同需求的遊客，價格適中，服務更是沒得説，老闆是本地人，熱情，真誠，主動給客人介紹平遙古城歷史，旅遊景點，當地特色美食，產品，憑他家的卡還可以在最有名的幾家餐廳打折吃飯，至於平遙特產醋，平遙牛肉，酒等都由老闆替我們代勞了，貨真價實！應我們的要求老闆帶我們去漆器廠挑選精美漆器，價格美麗，物超所值。總之來平遙古城你衹管玩好，其它的交給老闆就行了，一次非常愉快的旅行，收穫滿滿，還會再來，也推薦給要去平遙古城的朋友，選他家絕對沒錯！

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is located in Pingyao's Old City, very close to the Ancient Government tourist landmark. I found the level of service outstanding. Even though there was a language barrier they were always eager to help. I liked the courtyard and in the room I felt like I was sleeping in one of the museums I visited in Pingyao. Additional perks include free laundry and free transport to the train station. As a drawback, the wifi connection didn't work well for me. To sum up excellent value for money.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel accepts foreigners. The location is good, relatively close to the ancient town, and about 2 KM from Pingyao station. It's also convenient if you're going to Zhenguo temple, as the bus going there stops nearby. The place itself is a bit in the middle of nowhere (a bit difficult to find, but look for the signs), but there are a few shops and eateries nearby. The room was clean, and sufficiently large. However, do note that you don't get anything except for the room (i.e. no towel, no toiletries etc.). Also the homestay is literally opposite from the railway tracks, so you're going to hear trains all the time. It's tolerable if you close the window, but do note that there's no air-conditioning, so it's going to be a problem in Summer. That said, it's extremely cheap, so even with all the issues, it's still great value for money.
