Hotel di Barentin

Bonne hôtel pour un tarif bas, c'est très propre ! Par contre voir pour optimiser au mieux les chambres comme le rajout de meubles de rangement et amélioration des menuiseries ( beaucoup de vent s'infiltre dans les chambres , du coup on entend facilement des sifflements lors de léger vent )

I have stayed here many times without a problem but this time it was different. I arrived around 7.30 pm and the room was as expected. Clean and all ok although most of the tv channels weren't working (although not a problem for me). Went out for dinner and returned around 9.30pm to find reception and bar closed so was unable to take advantage of the free drink . There was a displayed note to say that reception closes at 9.00pm but this wasn't visible when I arrived. At no time when booking or on the website does it state that this hotel is not manned 24/7. A similar thing happened in August 2021 when I arrived at midnight to find the hotel locked with a message to ring a Paris number to get access but there were no towels in the room. Lucky I had a working telephone. This time I arrived at breakfast at 9.00 am (!0.00 finish) to find the hot food (scrambled egg and bacon) cold and congealed with no possibility of getting some more. Plates and cutlery was non-existent and the orange juice machine didn't work and the 2 ”15” year old girls didn't seem to have any idea what to do. I'm in France for 3 months of the year and sometimes Barentin is the ideal location for me but I won't be staying there again. I still like Ibis Styles and will probably use one in Rouen next time.

I traveled to Normandy to work in the area for 35 days, staying at the Campanile was an enjoyable part of the time in France. The staff were fantastic, everyone welcomed me like family and we all enjoyed the daily French/English lessons. My work schedule only allowed a few opportunities to eat dinner at Le Restaurant but those occasions were fabulous. The petit-dejeuner (breakfast) was always wonderful traditional French fare. Although this is an older motel the housekeeping is very good and my room was always clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to other colleagues and I will definitely stay here again if I get the opportunity.

Campanile may be a simple style of hotel but this one proved to be perfect for our few days in Rouen. Sophie and her team were brilliant! They were so helpful and friendly, keeping us informed of what was going on in the town (a festival celebrating Joan of Arc) and how this affected local transport. (Immediately outside the hotel was a bus stop getting us down to the historic centre in about 15 minutes for 1.70 euros.) Sophie even took a photo in the nearby Carrefour of something we wanted to get for our grandchild! We had breakfast each day and it was plentiful and varied as well as being fresh and of good quality. We ate two evenings in the restaurant and were again very happy with what was on offer and the quality. We would not hesitate to come back both to Rouen and to this hotel.

Onze nuitées, pour 2 personnes, chambre 9, au 1er niveau, du 4 au 15 Septembre 2023. Neuf diners, le week end, il n’y a pas de service de restauration, dont le dernier diner familial, du jeudi 14/9, avec notre belle-fille, Sandrine et ces deux gars, Quentin et Clément. C’est notre quatrième séjours, dans cet hôtel. Les deux premiers, sous l’étiquette Kyriad et les deux suivants sous l’étiquette Brit Hotel Confort. Le précédant, en 08/2021, dans la période de transition. Hôtel *** de 42 chambres, sur 5 nivaux, sans ascenseur. Une fontaine d’eau fraîche ou gazeuse, à disposition, dans le dégagement des escaliers. Une équipe de personnel qualifié, agréable et à l’écoute. Au restaurant, Le Jardin de la Vatine, un plat du jour et entrée, 3 menus et une carte limitée en proposition, signe de fraicheur et de circuit court, pour une cuisine faite maison. Petit déjeuner, continental, copieux, en buffet. Chambre avec petite salle de bain, douche, sèche cheveux et toilettes. Ventilateur en plafonnier-lumière et aérateur mural. Petit bureau, avec plateau de courtoisie, téléviseur écran plat et Wifi gratuit. Très bonne literie, avec couette et une propreté très bien assurée. Petite fenêtre, avec volet, voilage et rideau occultant, donnant sur un espace floral, avec de petites maisons d’insectes. Bien isolé , mais bruyant, la fenêtre ouverte, de par la proximité des routes. Règlement de notre long séjour en deux fois, pour rester dans la légalité des 5 jours de recours, en cas de non-paiement. Nous avons été incité à adhérer au programme de fidélité, mis en place pour les, actuels, 170 hôtels du groupe en catégorie, Essentiel, Confort et Privilège, qui fête ses 30 ans d’existence. Un grand parking, privé, gratuit, non surveillé, mais avec la proximité de l’hypermarché Carrefour et de sa station service, d’essence.

Une nuit dans 4 étoiles à 500 mètres de la mairie de Bois-Guillaume avec parking dédié. Restauration sur place bienvenue un dimanche midi et accueil très cordial de Charles, le premier de réception. Chambre executive calme et bien chauffée avec lit double, bureau, fauteuil, écran plat, coffre-fort et plateau de courtoisie. Manque un placard ou des étagères pour poser les vêtements (une penderie seulement). Moquette, décor neutre et de bon goût. Espace bien-être (jacuzzi, sauna, hammam) très agréable. Petit-déjeuner de bonne qualité (même si les serviettes proposées sont un peu petites !). Hébergement confortable et pratique au total avec un soin particulier apporté au client (préparation de l’arrivée, portraits sympas de certains membres de l’équipe permettant de faire connaissance, demandes satisfaites) pour un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
