Hotel Pantai di Calvia

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Purobeach. Het is een zeer luxe en hygiënisch resort met een goed en divers ontbijt. Het zwembad lag er mooi bij en de bedjes waren ideaal aangezien de zon de hele dag op het resort staat. Het enige wat ontbrak was duidelijke informatie die gemakkelijk te vinden zou moeten zijn op de website over de verschillende voorzieningen, en eventuele prijzen daarvan.

Hotel Bendinat in Mallorca is one of those rare gems that feels like a home away from home. Having stayed here multiple times over the years, I can confidently say that it offers a perfect blend of understated luxury, Mediterranean charm, and tranquility. The location is simply unbeatable—perched right on the coastline, with stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Bay of Palma. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is something I look forward to every time I visit. The hotel’s lush gardens, with their towering palm trees and cozy lounge areas, create an atmosphere of total relaxation. The rooms are elegantly designed in a classic Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls, wooden accents, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Many of them come with private terraces, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. While the décor is timeless, the hotel has managed to maintain a fresh and well-kept feel over the years. One of the highlights of every stay is dining at Las Terrazas de Bendinat, the hotel’s restaurant. Sitting right by the sea, it offers some of the best seafood dishes on the island. Their paella and grilled fish are a must-try, and the service is always warm and attentive. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a long, leisurely lunch with a view of the shimmering water. Easy check in. Perfect location. Wonderful views from the sea facing rooms. Very close to Magalluf ***** but also within walking distance of bars and restaurants of Palmanova. Bit of a steep hill in front of the hotel, but manageable if mobile. Food and drinks in the hotel of good quality and reasonably priced. All staff are very friendly and accommodating, particularly Ian, the manager, who makes a point of speaking with every resident during the day, around the poolside. Resident DJ plays chilled tunes all day beside the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel for adults of all ages, and will definitely return again soon. Thank you.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und können das Hotel besonders für Urlauber, die mit dem Auto anreisen, absolut empfehlen. Die Lage ist in dieser Hinsicht wirklich sehr praktisch: Das Hotel bietet eigene kostenpflichtige Parkplätze, auch wenn diese nur begrenzt verfügbar sind. Darüber hinaus gibt es in der näheren Umgebung gute Möglichkeiten, kostenlos zu parken – sofern man nicht zu spät am Abend zurückkommt. Ein echtes Highlight ist die wunderschöne Lage des Hotels auf einer Klippe mit herrlichem Ausblick. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die schöne, nach Süden ausgerichtete Terrasse mit Pool, die zum Entspannen und Genießen einlädt. Auch die Umgebung ist ideal für einen Urlaub: Es gibt viele Restaurants und Ausgehmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, sodass man sich dort sehr gut erholen und die Zeit genießen kann. Positiv hervorzuheben ist außerdem das hoteleigene Restaurant. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet – sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und ausgesprochen reichhaltig.

Отель находится в красивом округе Санта Понса - горы, зелень, море. Номера просторные и есть балкон. Спокойный район ( можно поспать ночью). На территории отеля два бассейна -взрослый и для детей , есть анимация. Пешком за 15-17 минут можно дойти до пляжа . Рядом есть магазины , кафе. Из минусов : нет кофемашины 🥲 Оплата на территории отеля/в кафе только картой. Постельное белье было с запахом сырости. Если вы покидаете комнату , то перестает работать холодильник ( поэтому просите вторую магнитную карту, иначе еда в холодильнике испортиться).

A lovely place - the bus from Palma departs close by. The swimming pools were great, only issue I had was that they have no water refill stations so they make you purchase water which I didnt like. Food was super - huge buffets and they sorted out a sándwich for me when I left early.

Le personnel est très sympathique. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec tout le nécessaire. Les différents espaces piscines sont top. Parcours mini golf , billard, beach volley, vraiment tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances. Proche du centre, à 5mins à pieds. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel pour un très bon service sans avoir à dépenser un budget faramineux.

Honestly, we were very excited before arriving at this hotel, but after checking in, we found that the facilities were not what we had expected. The entertainment options were very limited. Apart from the children’s water slides and having a drink at the bar in the evening, there was very little else to do. We booked the All Inclusive package, but unfortunately the food quality was quite average. Many dishes lacked flavour and were rather bland. Although the food looked appealing and well presented at first glance, the actual taste was very disappointing. Most dishes were flavourless and lacked proper seasoning. The cooking quality was poor, and many items seemed badly prepared. For example, the French fries and hash browns were consistently soggy and soft rather than crispy, making them unpleasant to eat. The food may look good on display, but unfortunately it did not match the taste or quality we expected from an All Inclusive hotel. What disappointed us most was the restaurant service. During a meal of approximately one hour, not a single staff member came to clear our plates. We constantly had to rearrange our table ourselves in order to make space for the next course. The children’s pool area is also misleading. The pool with the slides is extremely shallow and not suitable for adults who want to swim. To use another swimming pool, guests are required to pay an additional €30. As a result, our family could not really enjoy the pool facilities together, as only the children could use the slides while the adults had nowhere suitable to swim. The reception service was also disappointing. In particular, one staff member named Andrew (or a similar name) never once smiled or appeared welcoming during our three-day stay. We passed through reception many times and asked for information on several occasions, yet he always seemed unfriendly and uninterested. This significantly affected our overall impression of the hotel. On a positive note, the room cleanliness was acceptable. However, we were surprised that no proper duvet or blanket was provided. Even though we travelled in June, the nights were still quite cool, and it was difficult to sleep comfortably with only a thin bedsheet. A proper blanket should be a basic amenity for guests. Overall, this hotel did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price paid for an All Inclusive stay. There is certainly room for improvement in the food quality, restaurant service, facilities, and customer service.

This is our 2nd trip to this hotel. It’s now on a B&B only ( we had half board last year) with the breakfast served across the road in a restaurant with the best views across the bay! Great selection of food and drinks.  The man on reception is super helpful and friendly even at 11.45pm!  Lovely small hotel with a small pool Comfy beds and the balcony is spacious with an area to dry towels etc.  The hotel offers towels for rent but we bought one for €5 in the supermarket next door.  Cleaned every day and cleaned well.  Lots of restaurants and shops close by.  The fabulous beach is a 10minute stroll, with a massive supply of sun beds ( €20.50 a day for 2 beds under a fixed umbrella and an attached safety box)  We will definitely go back to Playas del Rey

Hotel has good location because it’s by the beach and there’s a nice boardwalk with good restaurants and bars/clubs nearby but not close enough where it’s loud. Hotel is good for folks of all ages and we saw families, couples and groups of friends. View of the ocean was nice and a lot of amenities like pool, gym, arcade, etc. The main drawback was/is parking. Hotel has 12 or so spots and if you come back after 6pm it’s hard to find a spot. There is public parking nearby but it’s very difficult to find spot/ park. We spent 30 min wondering trying to find anything. Room was also not very clean. Cups and spoons didn’t get cleaned/refresh. Floor was also sandy. Also bed was two twin beds pushed together which was a bit annoying. We got a good price and we are satisfied, but would probably look somewhere else next time unless we got a super great price.
