Oriental Hotel

Great location, however the hotel itself is a very low budget hotel, almost like staying in a hole for 2 days no windows. If you are looking for just a place to sleep at night for 6hours this is the place. 300rmb in this area is the cheapest. But i would recommend to get a better hotel to get a good rest. Not worth saving extra 100yuan.

Close to the subway (Dongdan and Wangfujing stations at Line 1 ) and to commercial areas. Although the staff doesn´t speak English, we could understand each other via translator apps on the cellphone. The room was clean and comfortable. The check out was easy.

Perfect location for solo travellers if you want to see the sights like the forbidden palace and such for a low price. The room was also very clean, very good water pressure and warm water. Room was warm, especially during the winter. Also, very strangely, I was woken up by the cleaning lady when she opened the door at about 8:30am saying something I couldn't understand. This was a particularly bad experience because I worry what if I had been getting changed or something. I really didn't appreciate my privacy being intruded upon at all Although the room was a bit small, so as long as you are solo,.this might not be a big issue. Also, you have to buy all water separately at this hotel, this can be inconvenient.

Very good location, if you like Wangfujie.

The location is good, near to the Forbidden City and a big mall. The front desk it is small, and you need to borrow a card from them in order to get the elevator. The rooms are small, and the smell of cigarette was very strong, from the hallway to the bathroom of the room. During the night, other guests can be heard snoring. But overall, it was good!! I recommended.
