Excellent hotel, facilities and location. Enjoyed the stay. The staff is very attentive and the hotel is well maintained. Food choices are also strong.

Quite a small hotel but with great service and nice room. They have excellent breakfast with many choices of foods. We really enjoy our breakfast every morning before going out to explore Bucharest. Location wise, you can just walk to all the tourists spots. Overall it’s a nice and cozy hotel to stay. Highly recommended to stay if you are in Bucharest.

Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. We had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was a good size — very pleasant and well kept. We were quite happy with the overall experience. Breakfast could be improved, as there weren’t many healthy options available. Most of the choices were heavier, American-style dishes, so a bit more variety would make a nice difference. It would also be great if the room cleaning were a bit more thorough each day, rather than just making the bed and changing towels. When guests pay for a hotel stay, consistent quality and attention to detail are always appreciated.

The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een citytrip Boekarest! Ik verbleef in een kleine eenpersoonskamer. De kamer is inderdaad compact, maar ontzettend proper! Er wordt elke dag grondig schoongemaakt en ook de theezakjes en zeepjes worden dagelijks netjes bijgevuld. De locatie is absoluut top: het hotel ligt in een heerlijk rustige straat, maar wel op een steenworp afstand van de bruisende Old Town. Je kunt hierdoor perfect uitgaan en 's avonds toch genieten van een goede, rustige nachtrust. De matras is van zeer goede kwaliteit, ik heb heerlijk geslapen. Een echte aanrader voor soloreizigers!

Good room and good aircon. Juat right goven 30 degrees outside. Pleasant and helpful staff. Just if your a light sleeper ask for a room away from the internal aircon/pipe systems that provide a humming and fan noise constantly and can be heard in rooms at that end of hotel.

It was good experience. Closer to bus station and tram station was only 700 meter . The only bad point was lot of noise . No control after evening . Groups were singing and disturbing others . Breakfast was included . Simple and good . But noise made the stay horrible . Must be control after 8 PM . Rest was good
