CCooldayThe Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotelâs restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuWe booked the room with the breakfast included for 2 adults because our daughter doesnât wake up for breakfast and doesnât really like whatâs on offer for breakfast. Upon check in we were charged for her breakfast anyway even I explained she will not come for breakfast. In the morning we decided to give a go. The breakfast is nothing to be excited about. Not much choice and the quality of food is very low. Even fried eggs are over cooked to a rubbery consistency and cold. Scrambled eggs looks horrible. Coffee tastes bad (sour). There is no option to book without breakfast. The room is tired and needs a good cleaning. All the furniture is moulded. Linenswith marks on them. I really dont understand the price of 250 usd per night for this service. In the room they offer used rubber flip flops wouldnât dare to wear it ashtray not cleaned from the previous customers - we donât smoke

PPengguna TetamuThe Silversand was the perfect stay on Koh Samet. Our garden room was clean and spacious. Towels were provided everyday without asking. I truly enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty with the best view of the beach. My only shortcoming was the water spout in the shower was not the best, but it didnât take away from our experience.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaNewly renovated rooms; comfortable & cleaned. Beautiful private peaceful beach. All the hotel staff that we had contacted did excellent jobs. Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time.

PPengguna TetamuA nice hotel with very helpful staff. Choosing a seaside room on Trip was not clear, we ended up with a room further off the beach than I prefer. Staff moved us to a preferred room, without hassle. The breakfast is suitable for farang if you cannot do spicy. The beach is very clean, as is the water and with a morning tide you can see fish and crabs moving about. The resort is next to a roped off swim area shared by several hotels. A close-by dock serves those who want go on a snorkle trip but I dont know where to sign up for this. You will need a taxi or rent motorcy to get to town but there are two small stores about 5 minute walk if you need snacks, water, etc. There is no ATM nearby and only one on the whole island so have plenty of baht since many places on the island do not accept credit card.
Our only issue was that the pool's PH level was way off and caused a bit of irritation for the boys and I could not, at all, open my eyes underwater. Hopefully this is a one-off event. Otherwise, the staff was exceptional, helped us rent 2 motorcy and had them delivered. The room was cleaned each day, bed was not too hard, and AC worked great. You get a fridge, water, and coffee in room.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you donât have a motorcycle you donât get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isnât that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to â I donât give the slightest **** for youâ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasnât that great. You donât walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

SSunĂ©KWe had such a lovely stay at The Salil Hotel Sukhumvit 57 â Thonglor and would absolutely come back again.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Thonglor, close to great restaurants, cafes, and nightlife, but still peaceful enough to relax properly. It made getting around Bangkok very easy.
The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained, and everything was spotless. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay feel effortless.
Breakfast was definitely a highlight. There was a great variety of options, fresh ingredients, and something for every mood. It was the perfect way to start each day.
Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and always helpful. From check in to check out, they made us feel welcome and taken care of.
Overall, such a great experience. Comfortable, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

We are very familiar with island life in Thailand and appreciate that some things just donât work as well.
The location of Malibu Samed Resort is gorgeous, itâs more or less situated on the beach of the small quaint Wong Duean Bay.
There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. Itâs lovely.
Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage.
Our room is small 16 mÂČ with 2 single beds, some hanging and storage space.
It has a rustic feel to it. There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV.
The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous.
Towels are provided and I would say are of typical island quality.
However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss. Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you canât have an adequate shower, thatâs one of the reasons we move about frequently.
Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai.
Toast cereal and tea & coffee.
The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available.

MMaria Z. from Canada.If you are picky, need private beach and a big swimming pool - this hotel is not for you. It is a nice small hotel, with small pool, great breakfast. There are rooms that can fit 4 people. Itâs a 20 second walk to the beach, you can rent a beach chair or lay on the towel. This hotel only servers breakfasts, there is no lunch or dinner, but you can always get good food at Samed Villa Restaurant. Itâs a pleaser stay for several days, lots of greenery on this hotel property, itâs small but cozy.

He truly puts his heart into what he does and does everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Have a problem? Just talk to Alex and heâll do his best to help. Need advice? Ask Alex! I think the main idea is clear
As for the place itself, itâs calm and quiet, yet close to the central part of the island where all the main shops are located. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, another one is about 5 minutes away â everything is nearby. The hotel has its own bar and a private area, peaceful and relaxing. The main issue is mosquitoes, but thatâs not really the hotelâs fault â after all, thereâs nature right behind the fence, and a very unusual one at that. We even saw a giant stick insect on the property for the first time ever, lol đ
The bungalow has all the basic essentials: a bed, air conditioning, a toilet, a shower, and a kettle. It might be nice to have a wardrobe or some storage for clothes, but thatâs just a small nitpick.
If youâre not picky and donât need five-star service, but appreciate a warm and genuine welcome, I can highly recommend this place!
