"Great bungalows, we stayed at family garden view , right on the beach , no swimming pool, not enough sun beds , you have to collect towels by urself, there is pond of dirty water (river) right beside the sunbathing area, not smelly but still dirty water going to the sea . Breakfast is nothing special but ok, beach restaurant is great , good food lots of shakes . Overall we had a great stay , probably will be back again"

"Лучшее, что с нами случилось в Тайланде - полная тишина, уединение от суеты, релакс! На празднование Дня Рождения снимали отдельно стоящую виллу с видом на море. Отель новый, открыт в 2025 году. Команда отеля делает все, чтобы сохранить этот отель в таком же состоянии. У нас сложилось ощущение, что здесь работают самые приветливые тайцы. Номера шикарные, большие, бесплатно предоставили кровать для ребенка, все новенькое, чистое. Душевая как отдельная комната очень большая. Ванная на веранде супер. Территория шикарная, вечером очень красиво подсвечена, играет приятная, тихая музыка на ресепшен. Питание хорошее, можно было бы добавить немного разнообразия на завтраке. Бассейны большие, один расположен почти всегда в тени, второй такое ощущение, что прям в море, очень круто. Команда отеля очень старается, видно что реагируют на отзывы (до заезда читал, что на завтраках мухи по еде ползают и жарко). Отель сделал закрывающиеся сетки на еду и установил вентиляторы, очень бы хотелось еще вентиляторы сверху. Из минусов для нас - расположение, рядом скудный выбор кафе (но есть отличный ресторан в пеший доступности, где проходит файер шоу) и отсутствие массажных салонов. Но данные минусы полностью компенсируются уединенностью, тишиной, спокойным морем (немного мутновато, ежей не встретили за 4 дня) и тук туком, который довезет в самый центр за 10 минут. Что нужно исправить - ОЧЕНЬ долгая подача блюд в ресторане, том ям, креветки и суп для ребенка несли более часа, но было все приготовлено ОЧЕНЬ вкусно и команда отеля извинилась в виде скидки за такое длительное ожидание. WiFi действительно в номере работает не очень."

"The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was outstanding. Upon check-in, we encountered an issue with the door lock, but the hotel promptly arranged a room change. The front desk staff handled the situation with great efficiency and professionalism. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."

"We recently stayed at Samet Cabana Resort on Ao Wong Duean, and it was exactly the tropical escape we were looking for. We booked the Beach Cabana, and we cannot recommend it enough. The Room: Staying in the Beach Cabana meant waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Stepping out onto the porch with a view of the ocean was the highlight of the trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic island bungalow feel while still having modern amenities (the AC worked great!). Being just a few steps from the water made all the difference. The Location: Ao Wong Duean is a fantastic beach, it’s lively enough to have good restaurants and fire shows at night, but much more relaxed than the busy main pier area. The water was clear and great for swimming right in front of the resort. Service & Food: The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of options to start the day. If you are coming to Koh Samet, do yourself a favour and splurge a little for the Beach Cabana. It transforms the trip from a standard hotel stay into a real beach holiday. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Beautiful location on the beach and really good value for money. The resort restaurant is a little on the expensive side but there are plenty of restaurants further along the beach that are more affordable. The staff were friendly and very helpful."

"ИЗ ПЛЮСОВ: -Аккуратный, чистый бунгало в тайском стиле, но у нас свежий ремонт был. -Есть всё необходимое, фен, гель для душа, чайник, кофе, сушилка для белья, сейф, пляжные полотенца. -Нет запаха, не было никакой живности. Комаров было мало. - Мы отказывались от уборки, вставали и каждый день на веранде на подносе лежали 2 бутылки воды, кофе, туалетная бумага, приятненько) - Большая мусорка своя возле бунгало убирают ежедневно - Улыбчивый персонал - Не требуют депозит - Красивая ухоженная территория ( свой такой деревенский вайб) уютненько! - Есть дополнительно душ на улице смывать песок после посещения пляжа - Горячая вода в номере - Хороший современный кондиционер, остужает комнату - На окне сетка стоит для проветривания - Телевизор смарт - wi fi рабочий ИЗ МИНУСОВ - деревенский грязный ресепшен - отдалённость от центра (нужен байк) , туки проезжают мимо не останавливаются, стоиш на жаре по 30 мин, либо если отстанавливаются везут как такси 250бат и дороже, очень от туда сложно уехать - в ближайших магазинах дорогие цены буквально на всё - УЖАСНЫЙ пляж, народу очень много, всё вокруг грязное, лежаки, столы в кафе, стулья. Раставленны днём лежаки друг на друга и так что даже вдоль пляжа нет места пройтись пешком, стоят буквально прям в море у берега. - Вечером всё рано закрывается, если идеш гулять вдоль пляжа страшновато лают собаки. Вернёмся ли мы ещё сюда думаю нет, сам отель понравился, но отдалённость и пляж не понравились."

"The hotel is lovely, and the traditional wooden bungalow is perfect for a solo traveler, what was not great is the constant music till 10 at night, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place to stay. Starting at 5 you have the saxophone player, followed by a one man band, then the fire show, and then the one man’s band again till 10- to 10.30. It repeats the same format every night, so you have to make sure you are away from it. The way the resort is set out, it’s hard to escape the constant noise. 5 days of this and I need another vacation just from the lack of sleep. If you like the constant party vibe then you will love it. I would think they just save their money, do one massive fire show on the weekend, and have chill during the early week days."

"Overall the hotel has certainly fallen over the past 3 years and it’s pretty sad to see this happen, if you’re a single traveler or a couple I would recommend but I couldn’t recommend the hotel to families in its current state. Management: Great management they listen to complaints, they are responsible and try to solve all issues. Sadly the management don’t have so much to work with these days. General staff: A large percentage of the staff are Cambodian and living in limbo with the current issues between both countries. With the exception of one or two Cambodian staff most are either depressed and miserable or damn right rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. (The floor manager explained this himself) Rooms: Nice and simple rooms the do the job but aging fast. The rooms look good but are not high quality materials and it shows the labor and material quality is low and cheap. Showers have virtually no pressure when the hotel is busy and the water won’t reach higher than luke-warm. Location: I have to say it’s one of the best locations on the island when considering location and facilities and I guess this is their main selling point. They have shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shop and more. Patrons: Most of the year the majority of visitors are going to be Tha and Asian, they are respectful, they have manners and they will be great to holiday alongside. During Christmas to New Year there were too many rude Europeans especially Swedish tourists, these tourists camped and took over large areas of the bar and restaurants, they moved around furniture, they were rude and disrespectful to other tourists leaving trash noise and mess wherever they visited. (Staff and management ignored) Note: This used to be a great hotel and I have continuously visited over the past several years. Unfortunately I have begun to see a degradation of the hotel, the attitude towards western tourists (due to poor behavior of westerners) as well as issues related to the diplomatic issues between Cambodia and Thailand. I due hope this improves in the future. With new staff or new immigration laws as well as new investment into the hotel it could easily thrive once more."

"The hotel has a very charming overall vibe. The pool area and the location are both great — it’s just a short walk to the beach, which is lined with restaurants and cafes, making it quite convenient. That said, the room felt quite damp. At night, the air conditioning made the room too cold, but using the blanket made it too warm, to the point that I was sweating. The water pressure in the shower was also very inconsistent, which made showering a bit frustrating. Breakfast was very basic with no variation from day to day. The coffee from the self-service machine wasn’t drinkable, so we ended up ordering from their café instead. The staff were generally polite, but most of them looked quite unhappy, which affected the overall atmosphere a little. Overall, I’d say the stay was just average — some nice aspects, but also quite a few areas for improvement."
