Buena ubicación, sobre todo buena opción en precio y calidad de las instalaciones. Nosotros lo utilizamos como hotel de descanso y al siguiente día continuar con viaje internacional.

It’s good hostel to stay for some days. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

NO SE HOSPEDEN AQUÍ, reservamos para 2 noches en agosto 2022 considerando que era un hotel demasiado modesto pero “cómodo” solo para llegar a dormir, al llegar al hotel pagamos y nos entregaron un cuarto en las peores condiciones, totalmente diferentes a las fotos que muestran en las páginas de reserva, pero de verdad una ASQUEROSIDAD, todo sucio, lleno de cabellos, sábanas y toallas usadas, el baño daba vergüenza, la chapa de la puerta súper insegura… por supuesto abandonamos el hotel inmediatamente para no poner en riesgo nuestra salud y seguridad, pedimos reembolso el cual fue denegado comentando que no estaba sucio. No tiren si dinero con estos estafadores!!!

This was a very different experience for me but it was a great experience! The staff was super friendly and helpful and everything was clean. The capsules are comfortable and there are plenty of stores in the area if you need anything. It’s not a touristy are per se but it is a nice and clean area where you can walk around to 7/11 Walmart or a restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed me stay and would stay there again.

The check-in was good, the guy on reception was kind and it seemed to be perfect vacation, but later happened 2 situations… 1. I left the part of my cash in a bag, and someone still 100 dollars from there, probably thinking, that “gringo” don’t calculate it… just 1 day before I took part from there to change and next day after midnight there were 1 banknote less. Of course I couldn’t prove it so it have no sense to tell about it. 2. Also smbd stole 1 chocolate (that’s not 100 dollars, but that was a present, which was bringing from another country - like a present from the trip)… 3. And last thing, there’s been an incident when three member staff were snooping around our room in our absence. And we have returned too early. They came up with excuses that they were worried about the safe situation. My friend had left her jacket in the safe. But that does not excuse them for intruding our space and letting our door open for everyone to see The cleaning ladies cleaned our room more or less good (sometimes forget about balcony 😅) and they have never changed our bed linens, but we spend there 17 nights… Little bit compensated by the good location, beach and tourist operator at the hotel, but not enough to fill yourself safely and comfortable.

Location not bad, close to places around hotel zone. Food was ok, nothing special though, breakfast was better than dinner. People nice, willing to assist. Parking helps a lot. Room very humid, clothes were kind of smelling after one day from all the moisture. The window has no view, looking at some wall or sth. Really I don’t know how someone gets a good room when they book-is it magic needed?

First, it’s important to recognize the property has two sides. One side has hotel rooms managed/cleaned/maintained directly by the hotel itself, the other side is apartments managed/maintained by individual owners. I stayed on the apartment side and it was mostly fine, though absolutely unremarkable. If your staying on the apartment side (e.g. you found the rental on booking, Airbnb or similar), you should pay more attention to the reviews attached to that specific listing. If the owner of your apartment takes care of the place, you’ll be fine. Here’s are the pros and cons for the property itself. Pros - excellent service from beach bar staff - decently strong drinks for 4$ USD each - decent location (right on the beach; but far enough from the party zone at Punta Cancun to get some R&R) - good price Cons - Website advertises a pool bar; but I never saw it open, stocked or staffed - the food is basically a crime against humanity. Chicken and beef were always dry and tragically under seasoned. “Cheese” is the bright orange abomination most Americans call nacho cheese. Tortillas served without a hint of charring/browning. Stale tortilla chips. No beans anywhere. Have literally got better “Mexican” food from Taco Bell. - building is old. Fridge didn’t really ever get cold, hot water never really got hot. Dangerously outdated wiring that requires you to plug 10 different things into a single outlet. - definitely saw a few roaches and ghost ants were everywhere. Not lord of the flies level bad, but they’re present. For context, I saw maybe 2-3 roaches during a week long stay. - weirdly uncomfortable chairs everywhere. Beach/pool loungers were super thin; no padding, with hard plastic bars right where the butt sits. Chairs in the beach bar are wood; also no padding, and awkward design. Not a deal breaker but it doesn’t really make you want to get comfortable and spend a few hrs drinking in a rock hard chair. On the plus side, there was never any competition for a chair. - not many restaurants or other non-resort businesses nearby. Do yourself a favor and go into town for groceries. Otherwise, your only other option for late night munchies will be the convenience store 5 minute walk up the road. It’s called Oxxo, and it’s basically Mexico’s 7-11 but better because it sells real freshly made food at all hours. - security guards need to chill. After about 10/11, they routinely patrol the property to stare down any guests who happen to be enjoying a cool night in refreshing sea breeze. In short, if your favorite bar back home has a sports theme, a crowd of regulars, or is a hole in the wall, you’ll be perfectly happy here. However, if you’re the type of person who only eats out at restaurants with waiters, you might want to stop being so cheap and spend a little more money. Our experience started weak but ended stronger. This resort had customer service that was unresponsive, and unhelpful when we did reach them, prior to our arrival. While drinks are included, all I could drink were bottled beers or wine because the cocktails that any barista made were the worst I had tasted - mudslide, vodka soda, pinacolada, etc. all were terrible. Maybe they do this so guests don't order much alcohol? Waiters are a hit and miss, Marco Polo had a wonderful waiter who put on a show for us, while the Caribbean restaurant by the sea had a waiter who never once got our orders right, dozens of wrong orders or forgotten items in every sitting. Airport transport has many rules - for pickup, you must order 12-24 hours in advance, outside that window you're on your own. For dropoff, you must order the day before departure, can't pre-arrange 2 days in advance and you can't arrange the same day either, add some stress to your holiday. This resort benefits from its connection to neighboring GR Caribe by Solaris as their combined facilities and the prettier design of GR Caribe make the overall resorts experience more interesting and memorable.

We spent our honeymoon in TRS hotel with my wife. Check in was very quick and smooth unlike some other reviews i read takes a few hours, maybe it was on a weekday. Francisco at the check in counter was very helpful , he helped us upgraded our room to swim up suit and it was amazing! Sostenes and Cesar assigned as our butler for our stay and they were very helpful as well and always smiling. One thing I’d like to mentioned is that they said they have 25 minutes complementary spa for us for our honeymoon, and the reception told us to meet at the lobby next morning at 8:30am to take us to breakfast and to tour us around the resort. But the next morning we realized we have to attend to the sales center where they wants to sell us some traveling package which we didn’t expect, altho they are all very nice but we spent two hours there listening to them on the first morning of our stay and it was our honeymoon. wish they would let us know earlier then I would rejected, and they said we had to attend in order to claim the complimentary spa which at the beginning they said it’s for our honeymoon. Anyways, For food I highly recommended Gaucho steak house, we tried the bone in steak and they grill them with charcoal and it was very delicious , but the second time we went the steak was over cooked a bit. During our stayed we joined two activities, one is water aerobic and paddling. Both instructor was very fun and especially Dente. He was super friendly and patient! Overall we are satisfied with our stay, and would recommend to our friends.
