Excellent hotel and staff. Brand new with some amazing art work and decor. The view and ambience is simply beautiful. The only one problem I have which I know is being addressed is the last 1/2 drive to the hotel is literally thru some rough unpaved road which can make you car sick if you suffer from motion sickness. Besides that which I said is being addressed a must visit to relax and be one with nature if you are in Cartagena

We had a great time at Hotel Caribe, lovely main pool, and had a selection of smaller dipping pools and tubs to choose from. The parrots, sloths and birds live happily around the ground and it’s so lovely. Everyone that works here is so sweet and warm. We had a lovely chat to Antonio who hands over the towels by the pool, Marianny, the hostess is also very lovely and always checks you are having a nice time. Breakfast is great tho I think those with dietary restrictions may struggle as sometimes the signage isn’t too great. We didn’t have that problem so it didn’t bother us but maybe one to consider for other guests. Pizzas are great, but as others have commented, other lunch/dinner options aren’t great and quite pricey for what they are. Until this is sorted I recommend other travellers to eat breakfast at the hotel but other meals in Cartagena town as there’s lots of amazing options there! Our room was gorgeous and the bed so comfy!! Loved it, would come back again.

Decidimos alojarnos en el hotel por que queríamos tener comodidad por tema de desplazamiento ya que mi esposo venia a participar a un torneo de golf. Veníamos con expectativas súper altas con respecto a la estadía, ya que muchas personas nos habían dicho que el hotel era un hotel 5 estrellas, sin embargo; nos vimos un poco sorprendidos, y cabe decir decepcionados, con la falencia de algo tan básico como servicio de televisión; no había servicio de televisión, ni de canales nacionales, y tampoco eran smart TVs, lo cual hacía literal del tv un cuadro negro en la pared. El agua caliente en el baño no existía, solo había agua tibia. El techo del 2do piso en el hall tenía una humedad tan fuerte que literalmente el techo se estaba desmoronando. La poca comida era rica pero el menú del restaurante era súper limitado tanto para desayunos, como almuerzos y cenas. Entendemos que por tema de la pandemia no haya servicio de spa; pero deberían informar en su página web. El acceso a la playa desde este hotel no existe, pero cabe decir que la piscina del beach club tiene una bonita vista. En fin, puedo decir que nos vamos un poco desilusionados del hotel. Algo que si quiero destacar es que el campo de golf es precioso!

Three things lowered the grade for this hotel: location, dining, and poor wifi. Be warned, this Holiday Inn on Manga is not near the main spots. Getsemani is about a 30-minute walk and Bocagrande is a car ride away. The hotel is located in a business district within sight of the port and the cruise ship terminal. While it is quiet and very safe, you'll be walking or taking taxis to go anywhere interesting. The hotel's restaurant only serves breakfast. You are on your own for lunch and dinner. There are a few restaurants about 10 to 20 minutes' walk away. They do have a small store where you can buy snacks and drinks, but nothing substantial. I'm not sure if this is the result of Covid, but it can be a problem unless you eat while you are out. I found the wifi was hit and miss especially on the floors below reception. This hotel's reception is on the 10th floor and the rooms are on floors below. I understand the internet in Colombia is barely 10 mb/s, but it would seem more nests might be the solution to help boost the signal. The Good The staff are very friendly. They are very nice and welcoming. The general manager takes time to chat with guests and introduce himself which is a practice I have rarely seen in hotels. There is a small swimming pool on the 10th floor with views of the city and the flight path to the airport which is on the other side of La Popa. It would not take much for this hotel to be a great hotel. An express lunch or dinner on offer would make things better. It is clear that this hotel caters to a business demographic, but it will do in a pinch for tourists, especially if you won't want to stay in the party zones.

I hadn't been to Cartagena for more than 6 years and I was undecided if I would stay in a boutique hotel within the walled area or better yet, a large hotel that offered me a gym, wet areas, a large swimming pool and more comfort in common areas. Take the decision of Corales de Indias for the points previously indicated. What is my surprise when I arrive at the hotel and with my gym outfit, I go down to reception to ask where the fitness center is and at reception they tell me that areas such as the gym and wet areas are closed due to COVID restrictions. Additionally the pool was closed for remodeling. If the common areas have been closed since the pandemic (2 years), they should be clear on their website saying that these areas are temporarily closed until a new date and not advertise the facilities as currently available. In this way, when a reservation is made, it is clear that under what conditions each guest arrives at the hotel. In conclusion, I paid several hotel nights just to sleep because unfortunately I could not use the pool, gym and common areas services. I felt cheated by part of what they offer on the website vs. what actually happens in reality. The only redeemable thing is the service of the reception people, porter at the entrance of the hotel, restaurant and staff at breakfast time. Everyone with a smile, friendly and helpful.

The hotel located next to the beach that is great location. The rooms are small but nice, unfortunately The rooms aren’t maintained well. The floor was broken and the shower faucet wasn’t broken. Not per ibis standards. The stuff is friendly. Keep in mind that there is a lot of traffic noise all times of the day and night. Request higher floor if you stay with the view to the ocean. Check your room upfront as if you want to replace the room they do it only after 3pm.

at checkin it took forever and the lady made us full out a gnarly form saying they can randomly take our temperature anytime they want ***…. also made copies of our vaccination cards… never ever had to show a vax card to a hotel… makes weren’t needed but we had to do that? seriously? also it was myself and a friend and they refused to give us two room keys…. never ever seen a hotel actually refuse that… we asked a few times and nope…. and when we checked out they demanded our one key back lol wow… now to the hotel itself… it’s right across from the beach so the view is good up high and it’s very tall bldg…. couple small pools on medium and high levels… we had a two room setup w separate air conditioners and one didn’t work the whole time. one of the tvs didn’t work in the other room… the breakfast was terrible so i just used it to have coffee and toast after the second day… our front door lock looked like it was previously broken into and never fixed, uou can open halfway and used a credit card to open…this hotel is definitely 2 star at best. locafion is decent cuz across from the beach but everything else meh… def would never stay here again lol…

The location is convenient next to a shopping mall, gym, food eateries etc. a 20 minute walk to wall city, ( I would not recommend it at night) The general area looks a bit seedy but I felt safe ( for the most part) due to the abundance of traffic and people) The staff in the hotel are super nice and helpful , they always greet me and tell me things about the area , generally friendly and accommodating. The lobby area is clean and well maintained with snacks and beverages available. I was given one during check in. The room was large enough, nice bed, towels, linen, the air conditioning was freezing, I had to shut it off. My only issues are the toilet flushed poorly and cable tv not user friendly, eventually Netflix and YouTube became available. The restaurant staff is awesome! very accommodating, enough said. Small pool but clean. At night they lock the hotel down ( literally, it becomes fenced in ) but there is a security personnel on duty to let guess inside. 24hr front desk on duty. I gave the hotel itself and staff 5 stars but the few issues I had makes it a 4 but I would recommend it based on dollar value.

We stayed for over 3 weeks and were returning guests. They provided us with a comfortable room with a great view. Breakfast was simple but tasty. There was a lot of construction including the road the hotel access is on and the beach is all torn up at present. Walking south on the beach for a half hour is easy and walking a half hour into the old city is easy. Many great restaurants all around the hotel too. The security at the front door were wonderful, and always so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant food was inconsistent but some of the servers were incredible. We ate there frequently.

La struttura é bella, divisa su due edifici, due terrazze e due ristoranti ma cibo discreto e più costoso di quello che si trova fuori. Il dormitorio potrebbe essere decisamente meglio…il bagno era davvero osceno, per niente all’altezza degli standard di altre strutture Selina. Il letto abbastanza comodo almeno. Nos quedamos aprox 18 personas en diferentes habitaciones del hotel, el servicio del hotel estuvo muy dispuesto para hacernos las acomodaciones como lo solicitamos, el hotel es pequeño pero esta recien remodelado, las mejores habitaciones estan en el segundo piso que son las remodeladas. En general buen aseo y todo en buenas condiciones, en el primer dia lo unico incomodo fue el ruido de una obra al lado pero nada delicado porque al fin y al cabo no permanecíamos en el dia en el hotel. En general si buscan algo economico, comodo pero no les interesa el lujo, es una buena opción.

We had a great time at Hotel Caribe, lovely main pool, and had a selection of smaller dipping pools and tubs to choose from. The parrots, sloths and birds live happily around the ground and it’s so lovely. Everyone that works here is so sweet and warm. We had a lovely chat to Antonio who hands over the towels by the pool, Marianny, the hostess is also very lovely and always checks you are having a nice time. Breakfast is great tho I think those with dietary restrictions may struggle as sometimes the signage isn’t too great. We didn’t have that problem so it didn’t bother us but maybe one to consider for other guests. Pizzas are great, but as others have commented, other lunch/dinner options aren’t great and quite pricey for what they are. Until this is sorted I recommend other travellers to eat breakfast at the hotel but other meals in Cartagena town as there’s lots of amazing options there! Our room was gorgeous and the bed so comfy!! Loved it, would come back again.

This hotel was in the perfect location for us because it was within walking distance to many restaurants, and local vendors and a 9-minute drive to the Old Town. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the hot water was good as well. All the staff was pleasant, polite, and professional. They were very attentive and had a willingness to address issues while going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. However, some adjustments need to be made to improve the guest experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were wondering if it was closed because the door was locked. We had to knock for someone to let us in and that continued for the rest of our stay. Whenever we went out and came back, we had to knock. Also, for the nights we came back late, two females would be the ones answering the door, which seemed unsafe for them and the guests. We would also get a Whatsapp message with the same breakfast menu every night, requesting for us to place our order for the next morning. That made us feel pressured into giving a response and it was quite unfair because sometimes we couldn’t easily change our minds the next morning. The constant back and forth on the phone took time away from us enjoying our vacation. There was also loud music that was played every morning which interrupted our rest. We forgot to put the DND sign outside one night and the housekeeper entered our room early in the morning without knocking. Cleaning was also only available in the morning, so we had no choice but to wake up early if we wanted fresh sheets and towels. In addition to that, we requested an iron and iron board but we were told that the hotel did not have an iron board. The iron we received burnt a large hole in a brand new dress 30 seconds after it was plugged in, while on the lowest heat. We brought it to the attention of the front desk and they simply apologized but there was no compensation for the inconvenience, which was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Upon checking out, we were also given a form to fill out with our information and a rating of our stay at the hotel. The form also included a request for feedback, which was to be submitted before we left. We opted not to complete the form because no hotel should be forcing their guests to provide signed feedback on spot, that is what the booking reviews are for. These issues need to be addressed for the guest experience to be more positive.
